**Nerissa POV**

I stood there, looking at the note while my heart raced in my chest from the anticipation of what is yet to come.
I have never thought they are capable of surprising me like this, so I looked at the petals and followed them as they led me towards the stairs of the beautiful house.

Pulling out a chair for me, he gestured with his hand for me to take a seat.

Behind him I saw Alex walking out on the deck, noticing me, a smile stretched on his beautiful face as he approached me.
“You're here,” Alex said, his eyes sparkling with warmth and love as they bore into my own.
My eyes looked at him up and down, taking him in, noticing he was also dressed up in dark dress pants and a dark blue shirt with two buttons on the top, unbuttoned, showing little of his tanned skin and a strong neck that made me lick my lips.

Allister cleared his throat, making Alex snap his eyes to him and taking in a deep breath with his eyes closed.

“Sounds good to me,” Allister replied, walking from behind my chair and taking the wine bottle.
Silently, I watched him while Alex walked back into the house.
Allister winked at me while at the same time he opened the bottle, pouring the liquid into empty glasses on the table.
The smell of food reached my nose, making me look back to see Alex carrying three plates and placing them on the table.
I was sitting in the middle between them, having Allister on my left and Alex on my right side.
Looking down at my plate, I saw vegetables, potatoes, and what looked like ribs dipped in gravy.
My mouth watered at the smell coming from the plate, looking delicious.
I looked between them and finally finding my voice, I asked, “What is all this?”
Both of them smiled at the same time like they were in sync, but Alex was the one to answer me. “We had a talk between us and we understand how difficult it must have been for you and shocking to… well, have two mates. You see, when that day at the battlefield we fought against each other, we both realized what our dispute and actions do to you.” 
He took my hand while Allister copied his movement, both looking at me only this time Allister was the one to continue Alex’s train of thoughts. He said, “We saw how much it tore you apart to the extent to physically hurt you when we were more than ready to take each other’s lives, but Nerissa when we saw the pain you were going through it killed us both. We love you both equally to an extent that made us sit down and open up to each other enough to accept the situation for the benefit of us all, but mostly you. We will never do anything to hurt you, your our life, our heart, the only reason we exist.”
Alex gently squeezed my hand, making me turn my head, looking at him through my teary eyes. He said, “Our beginning was not the best, but our future could be if you want it, together, all of us.”
Allister said, “So tonight we decided to start fresh, a new page for a better life. To shower you with our love and devotion as mates should.”
Alex added, “This night is just the beginning of what is coming, for you to see how much you mean to us both. So we thought of having this private, alone time together, a date.”
“A date?” I asked, feeling all kinds of emotions from hearing their speech.
Allister grinned, saying, “Yes, a date.”
He took the glass, rising it into the air, saying, “Let’s make a toast.”
Alex followed suit while both of them released my hands so I was able to raise my glass when Allister said, “To the first of many magical dates and a future that lays before us, and of course we all know I’m the most attractive of the two males in this relationship.”
I couldn’t help but to chuckle while Alex snorted but looked at Allister with a teasing smile, saying, “You wish.”
We all drank the wine and started to eat.
