Chapter 63

Dave POV
The ringing of my phone had woken me up from my beautiful sleep. I gently pulled Mandy's head off my chest as I picked up my ringing phone from the head board.Staring at the caller, I smiled alittle seeing it was my dad. I guess there's some good news for me as early as this morning. Isn't this great? I punched the answer botton and placed it on my ear.
"Hello Dad, Good morning"I Greeted with smiles on my lips.
"There's nothing good about this morning, Davison."He sneered calling him by his full name. "Weren't you aware your elder brother was attacked? You didn't dim it fit to go see him at the hospital or call to know how he's faring! Are you that heartless?"Me chapman yelled feeling so annoyed dave didn't check up on Bryan.
Dave rolled his eyes as though he (Mr Chapman) could see him. "You have to calm down Dad. I've been so busy and that's..." Mr Chapman cut him short immediately.
"So busy? So busy doing what Davison? So busy flirting around town with that girlfriend of yours?"Mr Chapman asked extremely pissed off. By now, their call has woken up mandy who laid on the bed listening to their conversation with a frown on her face.
"Dad I don't understand why you'd call me and start venting your anger on me! We (Dave and Bryan) aren't even that close and if I'm supposed to be in his shoes, he would had done same thing wish I had done. So stop venting your anger on me just because you lost your first son." Dave rasps out making Mandy smile at his reply and place her head on his lap. His last statement made Mr Chapman more angrier.
"What do you mean by my late Elderest son, Davison?"Mr Chapman asks to get him to explain better.
"I knew he died and that's the reason you're venting your anger on me."Dave uttered with a little smirk tuging at the side of his lip.
"Oh My God! I Can't believe you're wishing your brother dead! You are so Inconsiderate and selfish. So you know, your brother is strong and healthy. He has been discharged from the hospital! " With this said, Mr Chapman hanged up in rage.
Dave was gobsmacked as the smirk on his lips vanished immediately which made Mandy sat up to stare at him.
"Why is your face like this? Did something happen? What the hell did he say that got your face this moody In a second?" Mandy asked all questions in a goal without giving him a break to give her an answer.
Gaining his composture a little bit, He spat out the terrifying word.
"Bryan didn't die! The mother f**king didn't f**king kill him! He's Gonna come for us Mandy. The brother I know doesn't let someone that hurt him go scort free Mandy." Dave mumbles. Mandy immediately jerked into a sitting position on hearing the word. He (Dave ) felt so uncomfortable sitting on the bed as he quickly stood up and was walking tho and fro in the room.
"How come he didn't die? Red is an expert on works like this..." Dave cut her short abruptly.
"Then what F**king Happened, Mandy?"He snapped at her making her (Mandy) flinch back on the bed a little. "This was the reason I wasn't in support of doing this shit from the start but, you lure me into it and now, what's the outcome of everything we did, Mandy!"
"Can you keep calm abit Dave, and stop yelling? Do you wanna bring down this room or you wish to attract people's attention and get yourself sold out when they find out what you did your own brother?"Mandy asks smirking which made Dave boiled more in anger.
"You must be really stupid Mandy! If not for your influence, I wouldn't had think of killing my Brother. You made me accept to do it just because of my father's properties. I'm was so stupid to think of doing your deeds." He kept ranting which made Mandy boil in anger.
"Will you stop pointing accusing fingers and lets think of how to clear out our names" Mandy asks trying hard not to yell at him. His just acting up like a kid and gets scared at every little thing.
"How are we gonna do that Mandy? Tell me now! As it is now, I'm in rage and can't think straight right now." Dave mutters as he sends his hands into his hairs.
"First of all, I need to contact Red ASAP and ask him to leave the city for now until everything dies down then he could return." mandy uttered making Dave raised his brows in an awkward way.
"How does him leaving the city got to do with this? You want him to leave while we suffer the consequences?"Dave asks dumbling making Mandy Scoffs at how dumb he truly is. If not for his father wealth she's aiminfmg at, she wouldn't even think of dating someone this dumb like him (Dave ).
"If he's caught, That's when he would be able to tell on us. if they don't catch him, he won't get to spill our names out." Mandy Explains making Dave Nod in understanding.
"You should had been this clear and i would had understood on time."Dave said making Mandy roll her eyes at him. Such a dumb Ass! She thought as she picked up her phone and dialed his ( Red ) Number.
After it ranged severally, He finally picked up.
" Hello, Mandy " He called from the other end of the phone .
" Don't you dare Call my name, Red! What the hell have you done? I thought you did a clean job but No! you failed woefully! You better get yourselve out of this city this minute as Bryan is on the look out for you. If you don't leave and you got caught, Don't You even think of spilling out our names ."Mandy yelled and hanged up.
