Chapter 84

Mia's POV
"Bryan?" She caressed his hair as she called out to him. They were both lying on the bed
"Hm Mia" he moved his eyes from his phone to look at her
"I want to visit Logan" she said very slowly and Bryan frowned at her request
"Logan? why?" He asked with a deep frown on his face. He doesn't want to hear the name of that man
"He was my childhood friend, Bryan. I want to see him" she explained
"I won't allow it" he replied. Remembering how she was smiling wide with him that time at the restaurant made him hate Logan even more.
"Bryan-"
"Mia I said no" he tried not to yell at her even though he was pissed already. He stood up and walked out of the room. Mia frowned
The fact that they both had issues, does not mean she has an issue with him. Logan helped her, he didn't know he was working with her mother if not he won't have involved himself, she was sure of it. Because she remembers her past, she now knows how close they were when they were little. She wish to visit him and Bryan can't stop her, she won't let him stop her.
After a while, she stood up and walked out. She met Lincoln and Raymond with Bryan as they gisted in the yard. Mia ignored each of them and walked up to Bryan
"Bryan, you can't stop me. I'll go and visit him and you won't stop me" she placed both hands on her waist
"Don't try my patience, Mia" he hissed at her but Mia didn't move
"I want to see him"
"Why? Why? What's your reason?" He didn't want to snap at her. The doctor has informed him of what he should do and what he shouldn't when it comes to relating with the girl now she's almost due. And yelling at her won't be good, he knows.
Lincoln and Raymond could not believe their eyes. Were they arguing? These two doesn't argue, since they got married they've never had an argument that they knew of. They both agreed with each other
"He is my friend, okay?"
"Oh oh, lovers quarrel. I think we should go" Lincoln tapped Raymond and they both stood up but Mia stopped them
"No, you both are staying. I'm the one going" she replied and turned to leave
"Where are you going?!" Bryan stood up and held her arm
"To visit your rival" she whispered taunting him
"Mia...!" He growled
Mia sat down lazily at the seat Bryan stood up from and began to cry
"You're stressing me Bryan. You're making I and the baby tired. I just want to see how he's doing" she pouted and Bryan sighed.
'She's doing it on purpose, the doctor can't tell him it's because of the baby. He just can't'
"I'm sorry but-" Bryan was cut off by Mia
"You can come with me if you want. I just want to pay him a visit, please" she gave out her puppy eyes making Bryan groan in resignation. He can't fight her anyways.
"Fine! Get dressed we're leaving now"
"Yeahhhhh. Thank you honey, thank you, thank you" she kissed every part of his face while Lincoln and Raymond looked with awe. Bryan has changed so much, he was really tender when Mia is the person in question.
"Hey, you two, you're coming with" he said pointing at his two friends
"What? Why?" Raymond asked
"Because I say so" he replied as he walked back in to get his jacket. He never believe one day he'll be going to pay his worse enemy a visit. What love can do.
Soon, they were on their way to the station to visit one person Bryan didn't want to have anything to do with, Logan.
"Cute Berry..." Mia exclaimed as she walked up to him almost running making Bryan frown
"You came?" Logan asked with excitement
"Of course, I promise you I'll come" she grinned
"Took you so long" and Bryan scoffed 'so what?'
"I'm sorry" Mia replied with a sorry face but Logan was staring at the guy beside her
"What's he doing here?" He hissed
"He is my husband. He'll definitely come along. How are you doing?" Mia asked ignoring the eyes both of them were giving each other.
"I'm okay, what about you?" Logan asked still looking at Bryan.
"I'm fine" Mia replied
Logan could not help but ask "Is he treating you well?" He won't sit back and watch someone treat his childhood friend badly especially when that person is his worse enemy
"Yes, Bryan is taking very good care of me. You'll be out real soon, okay? I'll talk to him to let you go" Bryan immediately shifted his eyes to meet her
'What the hell?! Was it everyone she's trying to set free? Why was this girl so generous? How can she easily forget something bad someone has done to her! This man agreed with a witch to kill her, how can she forget that?' he wondered.
"Why didn't you wait for me. I would have married you and make you really happy"
Bryan scoffed, he wanted to explode on logan but when he heard Mia's speech he felt overjoyed
"I'm in love with Bryan, Logan. I can't think of anyone else. He is the love of my life, no one can replace him, not even you" she said it firmly and boldly for Logan to hear and accept.
"But you promised me when we were kids" Logan's eyes dropped to the table
"Vena promised you, Mia didn't. Mia's heart belongs to Bryan. Her whole being belongs to him. We only promised each other as a child but come on, we're grown ups now and I can't live my life without Bryan in it. Do you understand?" She said softly and Logan nod, he always fails. He always fails for Bryan to win
"I'm sorry" he apologized still looking down at the table and Mia sighed
"I'm not mad at you"
"I know. I'm apologizing to your husband" he looked up into Bryan's eyes "You always win and even with her, you won"
Bryan smirked "You aren't saying sorry so I could release you right? Because I won't" Bryan attacked only for Logan to chuckle
"Nahhh, I'm good. I just have 4years, 3months, 16days left"
"Good" He stood up "shall we?"
Mia got up. "Bye cute Berry"
"Bye Mia" Logan smiled at her
"You called me Mia?" Mia asked a little bit surprised. Logan always calls her Vena
"Hm, you're his. You're Mia now"
Mia smiled before walking away with Bryan.
"How did it go" Lincoln asked when he saw the both of them coming out and Mia replied with a smile
"Peaceful"
Bryan's POV
"Where's Raymond?" Bryan asked and Lincoln smirked
"He saw the lady at the wedding that day and decided to pay someone a visit. She's a police officer, no wonder she could catch that flower"
Bryan smiled "Cool"
They all left

"You want me to keep her as my girlfriend?" Lord Bryan asked a little confused.
Raymond nodded. He had come to plead with Bryan to keep Livia as his girlfriend
"For how long? I hate clingy women" he asked irritated already
"Till you're tired of her then you can dump her" Raymond replied
"Are you sure her presence won't annoy you? You'll be seeing her more often, you know"
"I know. And that's how I'll know if she once loved me or not. If she keeps seeing me she might be reminded that I love her" Raymond said with hope in his eyes that Bryan could see and he shook his head in pity for him.
"Raymond, you're a fool for love"
"Lord Bryan, I will never love again if she fail this test" he spat
"Trust me she will" he didn't give him any hope to hold on to. "Livia wants power and fame, she knows she can get that through me that's why she's abandoning you, brother"
"Don't say it like that, it hurts" he held his chest
"Better get a hold of yourself. Love will never exist in our circle. We are only surrounded by people who wants to benefit from us" Bryan stood up and left.
