Chapter 70
AT THE HOSPITAL
"How's she now doctor?" Lord Bryan asks as he stood close to her bed staring at her.
"She's literally out of danger now but, the blows had almost affected the Baby. Hopefully, Mother and child are okay." The doctor said making Lord Bryan perplex.
"Uhm, doctor i don't understand. What do you mean? Are you trying to say she's Pregnant?" He asked to be sure.
"Oh you weren't aware yet? She one month gone already." The doctor Said with a grin making Bryan chuckle
"Oh my God, I never knew about it and I'm sure she isn't aware either." He said extremely happy. his joy knew no bound as he literally forgot about the pain he's feeling on his shoulder, he kissed the unconscious girl on her cheeks several times
"You can give her the good news later on." The doctor muttered with a smile which Lord Bryan surprisingly responded with one of his odd smile.
"You need to get your wound treated before it get infected." The doctor advised but Lord Bryan had ignored him as he sat close to her bed and place her hand on his totally ignoring the doctor's presence.
He did know that those rape would produce a kid. He felt bad about how it happened but he was happy it happened anyways, she was carrying his child. He was going to be a daddy soon. He has to get rid of alot of thing and put in place a lot of things also.
Logan POV
"Bryan would be driving home soon but the girl isn't with him. So you know what to do." She said. "You have to make sure the girl isn't with him else, it's gonna back fire." She added making me exchange glanced with Rukky. What's this woman actually up to? What will happen if the girl was with him? What will happen if mia was with Bryan? What will back fire? And why? But what can I do? I've asked several times but she's refusing to say anything
"Alright" I mumbled and she disappeared out of sight, I shifted backwards in fright. I can never get use to her disappearing like that
"Rukky, do you really think we could trust this woman?" i asked Rukky again for the umpteenth and the answer was always the same but I didn't have a good feeling about her. Not a bit
"I don't really know Logan. Let's just give it a try" Rukky said making me sign,
"Alright".
"Let's get going" I said as we walked towards my car. I'm only doing this to get back my vena back.
