Chapter 83

Zoe's POV
"Nooooooo!!!" Livia screamed when Zoe showed her the newspaper. Bryan and Mia's wedding was all over the news and also in the newspapers.
Zoe had come to show her Livia to make her see that it was useless trying to still hold on to someone that's already married. Livia has to see that Bryan is married already so that she could let go of Bryan and get back up
"No, no, no, no!" Livia screamed "Bryan can't do this to me!"
"He is more happy now, Livia"
"I'll kill Mia" Livia eyes darkened.
"You're in jail girl and I think you need to really calm down and think of your life. If you show remorse and just be sorry for what you did Bryan might forgive you"
"My Bryan...." Livia cried
Zoe held her hands "I heard he has released two of the people he imprisoned all because Mia asked him to. If you can just show some remorse, Mia can help you beg Bryan and get you out"
"Never!" Livia spat in rage "I will never beg that slut"
Zoe snapped at the girl "Livia swallow your pride, idiot. Your career has gone down the drain. I'm here just waiting for you to get yourself back on track"
"Get out if you want to. You have never helped me anyways" Livia clicked her tongue
"Livia I am your manager. Since this happened to you, I have lost as well. Can you please just forget about Bryan and Mia" she pleaded.
"Mia dare marry my Bryan?" Livia asked in anger
"He's no longer your Bryan, he now belongs to mia who he loves and cherish. Can't you get that into your head?!" Zoe yelled at her
"Silence!"
"Livia, I'll leave if you don't repent from all these, I promise" she yelled at Livia
"I'll kill you too if you don't keep quiet" Livia yelled and suddenly started laughing
Zoe frowned, what's funny now? "Livia"
"Shut up" Livia snapped at her and held her neck
"Livia stop" the girl tightened her grip on her neck
"I'll kill you Mia, I swear I'll kill you!"
"Livia stop... Help, help!" She choked
The guards came and pulled Livia away. But she kept screaming,
"Mia, I'll kill you. I'll kill you for taking my Bryan from me"
Zoe fell back on the chair as she coughed.
Livia has gone mad she can't continue waiting for her she has to move on with her life and career. She saw Livia taken away roughly as she kept screaming that she'll kill Mia. She felt so bad for the girl.
She's so sure that Bryan would not allow Livia touch even the hair on Mia's head. He loved her that much.

Bryan's POV
There was a knock on the door
"Lord Bryan" Philip called out from outside the room
"Hm"
"Your family are here to see you" he announced and Bryan frowned before saying
"My family is right here with me" he held mia close but the girl sprang up like she wasn't even pregnant
"You mean mother?" She asked excitedly and Philip replied
"Yes ma'am"
"Yeahhhh" she jumped down from the bed
"Careful" but she didn't listen to her husband as she ran out of the room
"Mia" he called but the girl was already gone. He looked at Philip who was standing by the door and sighed.
Mia's POV
"Mother!" She rushed to Mrs Chapman and the woman wonder how Mia is so strong and fit even with her bump that was now obvious.
Mia and Bryan had just come back from their honeymoon, so Mia's tummy was big now.
"My love" Mrs Chapman hugged her daughter in law "I've missed you so much. How are you doing?"
"Fine ma, how are you doing?" Mia asked as they both went to sit.
"I'm good my dear. How's the baby?" She asked as she looked at Mia's stomach with smile
"We are all good" Mia grinned.
"Good day, father" she greeted Mr Chapman who snort
"You're just realizing that I'm here right?" Mia chuckled "I'm sorry dad"
"My dear, how are you?" He asked his daughter in law who replied with a nod before doing same to the third person with them.
Bryan's POV
Bryan stepped in to see his wife with his mother already gisting away, so much for 'my family is right here'
"Good afternoon father, mother" he sat close to his wife
"How are you doing Bryan baby?" His mother asked with a smirk knowing very well how Bryan hates to be called that but he replied like it was no issue at all
"I'm fine mother" he replied
"Bryan" Dave greeted
"Dave" he responded
"Can we talk?" Mr Chapman asked Bryan and the guy nodded
"We are talking" he gave out his usual fake smile only for his mother to say to Mia
"Let's leave the boys to discuss" she stood up and helped Mia up too
"There's no need for that" Bryan said but Mia already dragged his mother away
"Come mother, come and see what Bryan made for me when we were at our honeymoon"
Bryan sighed, he knew Mia was doing this for him but he just don't understand, can't she just follow his plan for once? He wants her by his side
He looked back at his father and then Dave
"I'm listening" he threw his head away from them.
Mr Chapman urged Dave to speak. Dave has been scared of Bryan since he knew him. He was brought into the home few years ago as his step brother but not once has Bryan acknowledge him as a brother, not once has Bryan smiled at him. Bryan literally drove him from his own father's house and told him not to step his feet in his father's house ever again and his father couldn't do anything about it. All his father could do was send him money.
When he was arrested he actually thought he'll spend the rest of his life in jail but hearing that Bryan decided to let him go was so shocking that till date he still can't believe it. It can't be the same Bryan, the Bryan he knew wouldn't hand him over to the police, he'll break his bones by himself, he'll make sure to chop off his fingers and give them to him to eat.
He had not began, he was already sweating
"I...I...I've been waiting for your return to... apologize and also to thank... you for setting me free" he stammered and Bryan looked at him
"It's nothing. If that's all, I'll like to-" Bryan stood up and Dave swallowed
"That's not all Bryan. Sit" Mr Chapman spoke making Bryan to sit right back
Dave continued "Actually, it was never my intention to poison you" he quickly added "I would never do that to someone be it my brother or not-"
"Then? Because you actually did" Bryan cut him off but he quickly explained
"It was Mandy, Mandy my ex girlfriend. I didn't know she was trying to use me to get to father here. She wanted to destroy this family so she came to me claiming she love me and I did too Bryan, I loved her" he looked down at his palm when said the last part. Bryan looked at him with narrowed eyes. If he could fall in love, Dave could too. He never believed in love till Mia came
"I was blinded by love, I just wanted her to be happy. I wanted to do all that would make her happy. Everytime I come to dad for money it was for her. I just wanted to satisfy her" Bryan felt something strike him, he was like that too. He always wanted Mia to be happy, he'll do anything for her. He was glad for the money he had because he could spend on her with it, to satisfy her. He always wants to see her smile
"But she can never be satisfied, she wanted it all. She wanted all the money and I couldn't refuse her because I loved her" Dave sighed with pain in his eyes he continued
"When she suggested I kill you, I got scared and refused immediately but Mandy refuse to talk to me. She left me and I didn't see her for weeks so I went in search of her and agreed. I loved her Bryan, I'm sorry I shouldn't have done that. I'm sorry" he cried as he fell to his knees
Bryan kept staring at his younger brother, he knew if he was still the old Bryan, he would have taken his head out before he was done with his story but he couldn't help but understand. He understood Dave, he understood how he wanted to satisfy his girlfriend because he loved her same way he loves Mia. One can do anything for the one they love and Dave was in love.
"You did all that for love?" Bryan asked and saw the boy nod
"You don't love someone like that Dave. You don't love someone so greedy and wants you to kill or steal" he didn't know why he was saying this, Dave should know all these but he felt in his heart that he should so he did.
"I know, I know but I just wanted her to be happy at that time. I'm sorry, I'll never be that stupid again" he cried still on his knees with his head down
"Stay away from negative people. Love is both partners trying to make each other happy"
Mr Chapman looked at his son 'where was all that coming from? Bryan was advicing his brother about love?'
But Dave nodded
When Bryan saw that Dave was paying attention, he continued "I'm here because of Mia, I released you because of Mia. I'm talking with you now and forgiving you because of Mia. It's because I love her, I want to make her happy by doing want she wants. And it's because she loves me thats why she tell me to do all these because she knows they will make me happy. That's love"
Dave cried and Mr Chapman too?
"And I've decided to give everything father own to you"
Dave looked up at him "Really? Thank you, Bryan"
"Hm, but you will be living with mom and dad and that's final"
"Yes, yes. I've been living with them for the past month since I came out of jail"
"Good, welcome home brother"
He stood up and hugged the crying Dave. For the first time in their lives they heard Bryan call Dave brother. Mr Chapman smiled with tears in his eyes
He can never be more proud. His two sons has reconciled
After a while Mr Chapman said loudly
"You can come out now"
Bryan and Dave wondered who he was talking to until they saw their mother and Mia came into the living room.
Both Mia and Mrs Chapman quickly came out, they had tears stained their cheeks and their eyes were red, Bryan frowned.
They had been eavesdropping on their conversation since the conversation began
"Mother, what are you teaching my wife?" Bryan frown as he walked over to Mia and helped her wipe her tears
"I didn't do anything" she shrugged
"Of course you didn't" Mr chapman rolled his eyes.
