Chapter 81
Mia's POV
'Raymond and Lincoln?' she tilted her head.
Bryan almost chased them out of the hall as everyone burst out in laughter.
Mia sighed in relief, it wasn't funny at all. Though Fiona and Livia weren't there but you never know. Anything can happen.
The priest asked for the rings and they made an exchange of rings with smile on their faces, not just the couple but everyone's faces.
"You may now kiss the bride" the priest announced and Bryan grinned. His best part of the show. He stepped closer to her almost entering her and went for her...
Ears?
"Wifey, I'm about to kiss you. May I?"
Mia chuckled. "The priest said so"
He removed the veil and frowned when he saw her eyes puffy and red. She must have cried a lot. But she was also pink, she was blushing
"I love you" He slammed his lips on hers as every one cheered them. Flowers were thrown at them as they kissed. Mia knew she had to stop the kiss because the Bryan she knows wouldn't mind kissing her till midnight.
....
It was time to throw the flower. What mia could not understand is why Lincoln and Raymond were there? The place is filled with only ladies except these two. What were guys doing where the bride was suppose to throw the flower?
Mia looked at Bryan who shrugged and sighed. She turned around before throwing the flower backwards over her head. Someone caught it but not Raymond, not Lincoln. Everyone was expecting it to be one of the guys but a girl caught it
No one thought a girl would be able to catch it but a girl did and she smirked at Raymond and Lycoln before bouncing out causing the boys to frown deeply. Why would a girl catch it when they were there. They called for her but she ignored them as she walked away, Raymond and Lincoln followed. They must know her name and who she was, who invited her and why she smirked at them. Mia giggled, she was happy a girl caught the flower and not boys.

Bryan's POV
At the reception, Bryan went to his father and sat with him
"Father" he greeted. Mr Chapman looked at him and furrowed his brows. His father was surprised
"Son" he smiled and shook hands with him
"I just wanted to say, thank you. Thank you for honouring my invitation" Bryan said to his father with a smile
He saw his father grinned and almost scoff but held it in
"Thank you too" his father grinned. "Thank you for inviting and calling me father. Thank you"
Bryan then chip Dave's issue in by saying
"I've asked for Dave's release"
"You did?"
"Let by gone be by gone, give the property to Dave, I'm cool with my own cash"
"Are you serious? Are you sure?" His father asked with a frown. His mother won't like that but she can't do anything about it. She had been overjoyed since he announced Mia's pregnancy to her. She doesn't care about anything anymore.
"I just have one request"
"Anything" his father replied. He has been really bothered about his son. He always go to visit him in prison but he knew only Bryan could set him free
"Dave will stay in the house with you. He is not going to lodge all the time in some hotels like a homeless person. He has a family"
Mr Chapman grinned "Yes, sure. Thank you" he knew he had Mia to thank. She changed the man before him
He stood up, he was about leaving then paused and said
"By the way, it was my wife who coaxed me to come say thank you. You should thank her" he walked away.
His father thought about Bryan's last statement for a while before he let out a chuckle, then another and another and soon he had burst out in laughter while Bryan who heard him laugh chuckled also as he walked over to his wife.
....
Mia's POV
Mrs Johnson Chapman was so happy when she saw both father and son grinning and talking, shaking hands. she felt so happy as she hugged Mia repeatedly.
"Thank you, thank you so much my dear daughter in law"
Mia blushed. She didn't do anything. It was only right for them to settle and talk together as father and son. She wouldn't want her child to have a distant relationship with her father so she could understand what Mrs Chapman was feeling.
Bryan came and stood beside Mia and she asked when his mother left then to met her husband "How did it go?"
"Hm, well" Bryan replied with a small smile
"Did you regret doing it?" She asked again as she sipped from her glass of water since Bryan had ordered everyone not to offer her any other drink
"Nope. I think I'm happier doing it" he replied and Mia nodded
"That's more like it"
The M.C of the ceremony came to the centre stage and announced
"It's time for our newly wed couple's first dance"
Everyone cheered but Mia shivered. The spotlight immediately spotted them and Mia smiled nervously.
"I can't do this, Bryan" she whispered into his ear and the man held her hands and stood in front of her covering the spotlight
"Remember our dance in your room?" He asked and Mia nodded
"Hm"
"We'll do same today, just follow my lead"
Mia's eyes widened "But that's sexual, we can't do that in public!"
"It will only make them close their eyes and not see us dance" he grinned but that wasn't helping
"Bryan, your parents are here" she reminded him
"And they'll be grinning just as they are doing right now"
Mia looked over his shoulder and saw them grinning and clapping, she sighed.
"Okay" she didn't want to ruin their excitement by refusing to dance with their son
"You won't ask about your parents?" Bryan asked and Mia snort
"Let's just go" she pulled the chuckling man to the dance floor
