30. The First Date.

[Claire]
We held hands throughout the entire hand. I did not know what possessed me to hold his hand but I was glad that I did.
His hand felt warm to the touch and though his hand covered mine, it did not seem to be crushing mine, I also noticed that he had really soft and smooth hands, not the type of hands you'd expect a worker to have.
He was the Prince's guard, I would've expected him to have rough hands from either welding of weapons or fighting attacks or training or something.
I liked his smooth hand though, it felt nice to the touch and I wondered how they would feel touching my body.
My face flamed and I banished the thought immediately.
A few minutes later, he pulled up in front of a lakeside restaurant and I was in awe of the beauty of the place.
"Do you like it?" He asked when we were seated inside.
"Yes." I let out breathlessly. "The view is amazing."
"Yes, they also serve delicious seafood, I hope you like seafood?" He looked at me alarmed.
"Yes, I do." I smiled at him and picked up the menu.
We went through it for a while and then we decided to order. The waiter brought us a bottle of red wine and after tasting it, Jean asked him to leave the bottle, it tasted very nice.
The restaurant screamed class and luxury, I wondered how much it would cost him for us to eat here.
Soon after, another waiter came with our order and I looked at the meal hungrily.
I hadn't eaten seafood since I came to Denmark, mostly because I didn't know good seafood sports and like Sophie says, I didn't have a boyfriend to pay for my expensive meals.
We had lobster, shrimps and oysters with dipping sauces, the array of food was nice and the aroma was heavenly.
"Do you truly forgive me?" Jean asked, dabbing the corner of his mouth with a napkin.
"Yes." I looked up at him and my shrimp missed my mouth, I had a huge sauce stain on the side of my mouth.
I was about to wipe it off when Jean leaned forward and wiped it with his finger, he took back his hand and sucked on it.
My panties felt strangely wet all of a sudden.
"Sweet." He said huskily and his eyes darkened.
I shoved the shrimp into my mouth before I could say anything and I chewed quickly.
"Why do I feel like there's more to you than a palace guard?" I asked him after the tension in the air passed and we had both calmed down.
"Of course there's more to me." He said and then he looked at me squarely in the eye. "Do you mind my profession?" He asked.
"No." I smiled at him. "How could I mind when you have a better job than mine."
"You know, I have the connections to get you a better job if you like." He offered nicely.
"Thanks but no, I'm fine with the job I have now." I told him and he smiled.
"So what was it like growing up in America, any siblings, parents?" He asked.
"America is a nice place." I replied. "I have a father but I'm an only child, you?"
"I was born in Denmark, I went to college in America but eventually I had to come back home, then I got a job at the palace. I'm also an only child, the K-my father is a very difficult man and we don't get along well so I try not to see him often." He said.
We had a lot of things in common, I noticed that neither of us said anything about a mother so I decided to ask him.
"My father is also a difficult man." I picked my words carefully. "I wanted to go far away from him and that's why I'm here, I found out that he lied to me about my mother's death and I came here to find her, what about your mother?"
"My mother died from cancer." He said slowly and I realized that it was a painful topic for him. "I'm sorry but your father was very awful for deceiving you like that." He said changing the topic.
"I'm very sorry about your mother, I understand how it feels to feel such loss, you don't have to apologize about my father, he was really awful, he made me think that my mother was dead for so many years and I find out that she has been alive all these years and she had even tried to contact me."
I didn't realize that I was crying until his fingers grazed my cheeks wiping off the tears.
"Don't cry, sugar, don't cry." His words soothed me and I soon stopped crying. "Any luck finding your mother?" He asked me after I had calmed down.
"No luck yet but I'm taking care of it." I said.
"Oh, Elskede, how I have misunderstood you." He said and took my hands in his. "Please forgive me." He said and pecked my hands.
"I forgive you." I said and he smiled at me.
The rest of dinner went on without any tears, we talked for hours and I kept laughing, Jean was as funny as he was romantic.
He took me to the dancing floor even when I told him that I couldn't dance but I was happy that it was a slow song that came up.
He held me close to him, my hands around his neck and his hands dangerously below my back, we swayed to the song rocking each other gently.
"I love holding you in my arms, you feel so good in my arms." He let out and I snuggled more into him.
I loved being in his arms as well, he made me feel so nice and bothered at the same time.
"Are you my boyfriend now?" I asked him, looking down at our feet.
He stopped dancing suddenly, he placed his hand on my chin and forced me to look him in the eyes.
"You have beautiful brown eyes, I want to always keep looking into them." He said firmly then his voice went soft. "Do you want me to be your boyfriend, Claire?"
Claire.
The way he mentioned my name weakened my knees and if he wasn't still holding on to me, I was sure that I would have fallen down.
"Yes." I said, holding his gaze and his lips curved into a smile before he leaned down and touched his lips to mine.

I know I said I wouldn't kiss her but I couldn't resist, not after she asked me if I was her boyfriend now.
She was so naive and cute and bold and sexy all parts of her intrigued me beyond my understanding.
I molded her body closer to mine as I deepened the kiss, I tried to keep my hand at the low of her back but they inched to creep downward and grab onto the juicy bum I knew was down there.
She moaned softly as I gently bit her lower lip and she opened for me, one stroke of her tongue on mine and I was close to unraveling, just as I suspected, she tasted like honey and strawberries mixed together.
She was so sweet I kept wanting more and then the kiss turned more demanding and I began to swallow her moans, it was not until we were distracted by the noise of clapping did I realize that we were the only ones on the dancefloor.
The music had ended and everyone had gone back to their table, I rested my head on hers and we both struggled to control our breaths.
Claire hid her face in my arms as I led her back to our table, the people kept clapping till we took our seats then they went back to their meals.
After our meal, we took a stroll along the shoreline and we took in the fresh air from the lake. Claire took out her phone from her purse and her face reddened when she read a text.
"What is that?" I asked her and she hid the phone immediately.
"It was from Sophie." She said and I smiled at her.
I could only imagine what her friend must have told her to make her flushed like that.
"Do you want to go back now?" I asked her and she nodded her head.
She shivered slightly as we made our way back to the valet and I smiled, I slipped my jacket from shoulders and draped it on hers.
She accepted it silently and she smiled at me.
"First date one thousand percent successful." I typed into my phone and sent it to Liam after opening the car for Claire.
She fell asleep a few minutes after we started heading back and I smiled at her cute sleeping face.
She jerked awake when I pulled up in front of her house and I opened the door for her.
"I had a great time tonight, thanks." She looked me in the eyes and I smiled at her.
She was a quick learner.
I pulled her into a deep embrace and I kissed her forehead.
"Good night, Elskede."
