66. Last Day In Aruba.

[Claire]
A week away was exactly what I needed to unwind from all the stress and issues I was currently facing.
Jean and I got a lot closer and I loved him more deeply every day.
Sophie took my advice and she'd reconciled with Mason Benjamin, she sent me cute photos of them both on a daily basis and I also reciprocated with cute photos of me and Jean.
Though Jean was camera shy so I barely showed his face in the pictures.
Michele was also doing okay with his beau, Jack and all was right with the squad.
Jean and I had not yet gone all the way but I was confident that we would soon. I wanted to feel him inside me and experience more pleasure than the one he'd already given me. I wanted him to get his pleasure from me and for me to get my pleasure from him, at the same time.
I wanted our souls to unite and for us to become one.
"You're my cure." He'd whispered into my ear last night before I slept off but what he didn't realize was that he was mine too.
I'd never felt this way for anyone before and I never thought I could connect with anyone on this level till I met him.
I didn't know what my parents were doing but as the day passed by, I stopped resenting them as much. Jean told me stories about his time with his mother and I was coming to realize that I'd been given a second chance with my mother.
I'd never let my father control me again, obviously but that didn't mean that I didn't want a relationship with him ever again.
"You're not asleep yet?" Jean wrapped his arms around me and I felt warm.
I was standing on the balcony looking over the Ocean and I'd been so lost in thought I hadn't heard him when he came into the room.
The gentle breeze was blowing as he rocked me in his arms and I rested my back on his chest.
"No, I cannot believe that tomorrow is our last day here." I sighed.
"I know, I like it here where it's just you and I." He said, nibbling my ear softly.
"Let's do something amazing before we leave tomorrow." I said, turning to face him.
"Hmmm, I'm one step ahead of you already." He said brushing my nose with his. "I have a full day planned for us tomorrow, we're going to have a wonderful day." He said.
I wrapped my hands around him and pulled him closer, he hadn't understood what I truly meant but I guess I could settle with a great day before leaving Aruba.
"Let's go to bed." He said, sweeping me off my feet. "We have a huge day ahead of us tomorrow."
He carried me bridal style and dropped me ceremoniously on the bed then he climbed in behind me and we cuddled till we fell asleep.

"Let's go on one, two, THREE!" Jean yelled as we jumped off a cliff.
Our day started with a nice breakfast at the resort then we went to the California lighthouse. It was so nice listening to the history of the lighthouse and touring the building.
We then went cliff jumping and it was one of the most exhilarating experiences I'd ever had in my life.
I'd been on vacation a lot, especially with other wealthy children like myself from school but I was never really interested in participating in any of their activities because it felt vain to me, I only went to please my father and since he wasn't there, I did not see the need to keep up the charade.
But this was different, I was enjoying my time here with Jean and he just made everything perfect.
"Oh my God." I screamed when we came up for hair.
I pulled him closer to me and wrapped my legs around his waist.
"Claire." He looked me in the eye and pressed his mouth against mine.
I opened for him as he deepened the kiss and our tongue began a slow sensual dance that ignited the fire in my soul and my desire for him increased greatly.
I wrapped my hands around him as the water lapped around us.
Everyone around us started hooting and clapping and then we seperated because I was very embarrassed.
Jean chuckled as I hid my face in my chest Andnhe carried me out of the water.
The next place we went was the butterfly farm, it was so beautiful, there were millions of butterflies fluttering around us, their beautiful colors decorated the sky around us and I felt them fluttering around us and I couldn't help but gaze at them.
"They're so beautiful." I said gazing at them.
"You're so beautiful." Jean said and I realized that he'd been gazing at me all along. "I love seeing you this happy and your smile brightens my day."
"You make me this happy." I replied and we shared a passionate kiss.
I was already tired by the time we got back to the resort, Jean had something to do so I went alone to our room.
When I opened the door, the room was very dark and I had to switch on the light, I felt around the wall for the light switch and then when I switch it on I gasped.
The room was decorated beautifully with lots of rose petals, red and white balloons, lots of colourful ribbons and white sheets.
My smile widened when I noticed a red dress and a pair of heels on the bed with a card that had a rose attached to it.
—Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Butterflies are beautiful but not as much as you.
30mins.
I smiled widely as I walked into the bathroom to take a quick shower and change my clothes, I also made an attempt to straighten my hair and apply a little make up.
A few minutes after I walked out of the bathroom, someone knocked at the door and I went to open it up.
It was a man in a suit carrying a big bouquet of flowers.
"For you, mooie vrouw." The smiled and gave them to me.
"Thank you." I smiled at him and accepted the flowers, it had a card on it so I took it out and read it.
It said to follow the man and so I did.
We walked and then got into a private lift, when we descended, we came out into a very peaceful and quiet beach.
There were rose petals on the floor and the man left after I met another man who handed me a card that read.
'follow the petals.'
I did not know that Jean had such a romantic side to him but I was really pleased to find out, I took off my heels and held them in my hands as I followed the petals.
The path was illuminated but a lot of Christmas lights and so it wasn't hard to find my way.
I walked down a short part and I started to feel very emotional when I came to a small area that had a table for two dinner set up.
There was a band playing soft music behind the table and the ocean waves where lapping against the shore in front of the table.
It was the perfect sight.
"Oh my goodness, Jean, this is so beautiful." I smiled and hugged him tightly.
"I'm glad you like it." He pulled back and held my hands in his.
"Claire, I want you to know that you're the best thing that has ever happened to me in my life." He said and kissed my knuckles. "I'd not know what to do with my life without you, I was lonely and empty, you came into my life and you filled my heart with so much love and joy."
"Oh, Jean, I love you so much." I said, tears pouring out of my eyes.
"Oh don't cry, I want you to smile, I want you to smile always." He said then kissed me softly. "Elskede, you found me, you found me."
We sat down for dinner and we talked while we ate, I realized that Jean looked very nervous and for a second I started to get nervous too.
I wondered if he was going to ask me to marry him.
I loved him and all but we'd only dated for nearly eight months now, I wasn't yet ready for that time of commitment but I doubted bi would say no if he ever asked.
"I have to tell you something." He said suddenly and heart leaped in my chest.
"Yes." I answered immediately.
"Claire, please I don't want you to hate me, I promise that I never lied to you about my feelings for once, I've always loved you, right from the first time I saw you falling out of the barrier."
