His Weakness (Part 2):
"But you were here when she openly confessed her feelings to you."
"I did not hear a single word from her Vala, I was sleeping, okay. It's you I want not her."
"So am I truly beautiful and yours or you just said that to calm me down?" Vala asked, her anger slowly fading away.
"You are beautiful in my eyes Vala, so don't listen to what Athena is saying, you won't like the outcome of it when you use your head instead of your heart." He told her.
"At least say you love," Vala said as wrapped her hands on his waist, bringing him much closer to her body.
"You know I hate that 'L' word Vala," Ruthless said. "Are you not happy with the ones I said?" He asked.
"Who told you I am not happy, is just that I want you to say those words to me."
"Don't worry, if I finally believe in that 'L' word, you will be the first person to hear it from me."
"I hope so my Winter," Vala said with a smile as she tilted her head to stare into his eyes. "Your eyes are beautiful."
"Well you should see yours, I have never seen a midnight dark eyes shiny like yours before."
"Isn't now the time to kiss me," Vala said.
"Kiss you? In front of everyone? No I can't do that."
"You can't do that? You can't kiss your mate in front of everyone, are you that scared of what the students will do or because you have feelings for Athena who is still watchi-"
Ruthless interrupted her with his lips as he kissed her earning a loud gasp from the onlookers, then he disappeared.
Vala, whose eyes were closed when she was kissed by Ruthless, opened it and touched her lips.
He has kissed her again.
She licked her lips and smiled ruefully when she saw Athena staring, no, glaring at her.
"Quit staring lovely at me sweetheart, he's not yours to begin with. You have been waiting patiently for him to grow and still he doesn't notice you, but I on the other hand, hasn't stayed up to a week and he has kissed me twice, and no matter what name you call me, it doesn't change the fact that the guy you want is my mate and he wants only me, not even you."
"I will be back Vala, and I promise you that you won't like my third coming. Stay away from him, you haven't seen the last of me yet."
"That is the only thing you know how to say, I'm sure that's what they taught you there, that's why you don't know when a guy doesn't want you. I don't give out warning twice, remember what I told you before, apply it unless you are looking for your death which I will gladly give to you."
"We shall see,"
"You can see yourself out."
Giving out a loud shout, Athena disappeared.
Vala went to her class pretending as if nothing had happened.

After School Hours......
Galore Palace:
Galore was in his room, seated on his bed, he had just come back from his throne room where he had sent some delegates to the Hellhound's Kingdom to know how their King was faring. Even though King Hound tried to fight him for the throne, he wasn't heartless not to check in his subjects.
A knock sounded and before he could say 'Come in' the door flung open and Queen Lati walked in, the guards guarding his door quickly closed it.
With the way her face and step was, Galore knows someone has offended her.
"My beloved Queen, what troubles you?"
"It's your son, he fought with Blue today I school, in front of everyone for a girl Blue is in love with," queen Lati said.
"Ruthless fought with his elder brother? That is impossible," King Galore said, not believing it. Ruthless wouldn't fight Blue no matter how he was offended.
"I know you won't believe me, you hardly believe me so this isn't new. I just want you to talk to Ruthless to stay away from the girl my son loves, if not he will see the other side of me he hasn't seen before, I will be warning him himself when we have our dinner," queen Lati said and left the room without waiting to hear from her husband.

Vala was eating the food prepared by Pula when the woman broke the news. Earlier on, she had told Pula what had transpired between her and Ruthless with Athena.
"I will be traveling soon." Pula told her.
"Okay, how soon is that?" Vala asked.
"Tomorrow morning." she answered.
That halts Vala, "Tomorrow morning? That's so soon Aunt Pula, why are you traveling?"
"To find some antidote."
"An antidote? Please don't tell me you are finding an antidote to break up my mate bond with Ruthless?"
"No, it isn't that Vala, the antidote is for something else but don't worry, once I get the antidote, everything will be alright again,"
"I hope with me ending up with Ruthless."
"If you want to, it depends on you Vala," Pula said.
"I don't really know what I want, I need my parents to be set free but then again I don't hurt Ruthless, but he does know where my mother is."
"It is left for you to decide Vala."
"I am only going to hurt him once, and I won't ever hurt him again, I will spend my life begging him to forgive me."
"Vala, you are the master of your own fate, don't allow anyone to push into doing what you don't want to do."
"Thank you Aunt Pula," Vala said. "So when are you going to come back?"
"Well, I don't know. I will come back after I find the antidote."

Early the next morning, Vala bid Pula welfare as Pula changed into her dragon form and flew upwards, leaving Galore's kingdom.
At a forest Pula flew down and transformed into her human form, and not long afterwards, Ruthless appeared.
"You did not tell her anything?"
"No, I only told her I will be traveling," Pula responded. "You actually care for her even if you pretend not to, you love her."
"I like her, after all she's my mate but don't tell her I said that."
"You know I am only here because you said you wanted to help Vala remove the enchantment placed on her by those her wicked grand aunties."
"Yes,"
"You love her but you are yet to admit it."
"One of my spirits beast will take you to the Valley of Death. I wonder how they manage to get the enchantment used on Vala."
"Ask them."
"Asking them will make them know I already know their plan. I would have gone instead of you, but it will take months before one will reach the Valley of Death, and I have to be here for Vala."
"But you know Vala will betray you sooner or later?"
"Yes, it has to happen. You see, Lord Daniel and Zelik are given an order by someone above them, someone who blocks me from seeing the future whenever I want to look beyond what lies after Vala's betrayal. I have my suspicions, though it is not Galore, but a woman."
"What made you so sure it is a woman blocking your vision."
"It is only someone who is related to me by blood can do that. And as far as I know, my mother is dead and Galore doesn't have that power. I have this hunch that she will only come out after Vala's betrayal."
