You Are My Obsession (Part 5):
Vala couldn't answer as she let out her cries.
"Whatever it is, it's okay, don't cry over it, sunshine." Blue told her and he started rubbing her back.
"Well, I never know I'd see the day you will cry," Athena's taunting voice was heard making Vala to cease her tears.
"Leave her alone Athena," Blue said.
"Sure, but not until I give her a piece of my mind. You see ugly, it's useless to cry over spilt water. Ruthless was mine from the beginning and till the end, I won't sit down, fold my hands and watch you take him away from me. I and Ruthless have gone a long way before you came, we were lovers and still is. Have you ever pause to think why he doesn't hurt me when I touch him or why he listens to me when I speak? Even the last time we challenged, did he hurt me? Think ugly. Who do you think has been satisfying his sexual urge? Can you handle him in bed? The simple truth is, you can't. I love him with all my heart and I believe he loves me too, he loves me until you come, but you won't and will never steal my love from me, I won't allow you to live to see that day, trust me." Athena told her.
"That's enough Athena," Ruthless cold voice was heard prompting Athena to smile ruefully.
"But darling I was only telling her the truth, she needs to know the truth about us," Athena said, turning around to face the handsome owner of the cold voice.
"Leave and go back to your abode before I hurt you for real Athena. A goddess like yourself shouldn't meddle with the affairs of the supernatural except they want you involved." He told her. "Go, you are hurting my mate with your hurtful words."
"I never thought I'd see the day you did care for someone Ruthless. I have been with you since you were a kid and waited until you are finally of age before I made my advances, we became lovers."
"We are not lovers Athena, leave before I force you to," he said.
"Okay I will leave, but just in case she can't satisfy you to your fill, you know where to find me my love," Athena said and watched as Ruthless cringed at the word 'Love', she blew kisses at him and disappeared.
"Haven't you hug my mate enough Blue, she gets the message you are trying to pass, now it's time for you to release your hold on her, brother," Ruthless said calmly.
Blue glared at Ruthless as he let go of Vala and tilted her head up so that she could look into his eyes. "If you are looking for someone to talk to, you know where to find me. I can also take you to the palace for you to look around, okay?" Vala nodded her head slightly and Blue smiled widely. He left them, going towards his class, it wasn't a coincidence that he came to school earlier than usual to think of ways of making Vala his and killing his younger brother when the lady of his dream ran to meet him.
"Look at me Vala," Ruthless said but Vala didn't, instead, she ignored him and wanted to continue her run but Ruthless reading her mind teleported himself in front of her. When Vala saw that she had been trapped, she closed her eyes, not wanting to meet his eyes. Irritated by her behavior, not staring at him was affecting him, "Why won't you look at me Vala?" He asked and waited for an answer but none was forthcoming. "Are you now ignoring me Vala? What did I do wrong?"
Vala opened her eyes and slapped Ruthless on one of his cheeks.
"That is for pretending as if you don't know what you did," she said slapping him again on his other cheek, "And that is for cheating on your mate." She was breathing hard as she finished her talk, trying hard not to cry again, not in front of him.
On a normal day, Ruthless could have gotten angry by the slaps but he wasn't, rather he now understood why she was angry.
"Was it because I kiss Athena?" He asked but Vala made no comment, "I see no wrong in doing that, just because you are my mate doesn't mean I shouldn't kiss someone who is my friend."
That earned a little gasp from Vala. "You cheated on me before my eyes and you are saying this rubbish to my face, to your mate? Last night we were discussing about Love and today you are betraying me knowing fully well that I love you."
"I told you Vala, you will get hurt like my mother."
"Oh stop giving me flimsy excuses instead of apologizing, I don't blame you Ruthless, indeed you live up to that name, if you try to stop me from leaving, we are going to fight and blood will flow, and yes Ruthless, it won't be my blood." Vala told him closing the distance between them a bit, "It will be yours." She added and left for her class. Blue was eavesdropping on their conversation and smiled.
Ruthless felt as if he was being ripped into two parts when Vala walked out of him.
He wasn't understanding the new pain which he felt in his heart.
'We told you not to kiss that evil goddess, now she has ruined our happiness. I hope you are happy with this new development.' Windy told Ruthless in his mind as he faded away along with Ice Fang and Fire.
Even his spirit beast are keeping malice with him. He brush off that pain and head for his school building to meditate.

"Vala, wait for me," Blue voice was heard as students poured out of their various classes and were heading home. Today's lecture has come to an end.
Vala halts in her stride, she has been moody ever since her conversation with Ruthless early that morning and to worsen it, she hasn't seen Ruthless neither has he come to apologise.
"So are you still coming?" He asked once he neared her.
"Coming....?"
"To the palace like I'd told you earlier in the morning."
"I will come," she said without hesitation.
"Okay, when will that be?"
"In the evening," Vala responded and resumed her walking.
Blue smiled widely; he couldn't believe his luck and couldn't wait to tell his mother.

Galore Palace:
That evening, at the palace dining room, Queen Lati, Blue, Ruthless and Galore were seen eating. Galore whose mind wasn't at the food at that moment was thinking about his messengers who haven't returned yet.
An uncovered plate of food was beside Blue's plate and that drew Galore's attention.
"Who has that food?"
"Oh, Blue is expecting a visitor tonight," queen Lati replied. Blue had told her about what happened today.
"A visitor?" Galore was surprised, "This will be the first time someone is visiting you Blue." He added.
"He has got all the charms from me," queen Lati said with a smile, but when she saw Blue not eating, she asked, "Why are you not eating?"
"I am waiting for her to co-" he didn't get to finish his talk when a guard interrupted them by coming inside.
"Greetings to you my King, Queen and my two Prince's." He greeted and focused on Blue, "She's here."
"Let her come in immediately," Blue said with relief, for a while he thought Vala wouldn't make it, he sent his thanks to the gods for making this happen.
Following the guard, Vala walked in and greeted everyone except Ruthless who had stopped eating to stare at her. She ignored him and went to sit with Blue and smiled widely as he pulled the chair for her to sit down.
"You look beautiful." Blue complimented her. He wasn't lying, Vala looked absolutely stunning in her long white dress. The dress was gifted to her by Queen Alfy some time ago.
Vala blushes at that.
"Thanks Blue."
"Wow, from your aura, it shows you are a strong lady who will fit for my son, Blue."
Not knowing what to say, Vala nodded. She noticed the gap between them and Ruthless and tried not to feel pity.
"Let's eat before the food gets cold," Blue said.
As she ate, she could feel Ruthless eyes on her, it tingles her that he was watching her.
Once they were done eating, Blue stood up and took one of Vala's hands, kissing it gently, he smiled at her. "Let me just take you round the palace for us to talk."
"Sure," Vala said with a smile of hers as she stood up, thanked Galore and Lati and followed Blue out of the door.
The closing of the door nearly made Ruthless pull Blue's head from his body, but once again, not understanding it, he pushed that feelings away.and concentrated on his food. Taking a spoon and breaking the spoon, he stood up from his seat, said his thanks and left.
Following his mate's scent, he saw them at the east corridor, that overlooked the Elves land, the last corridor on the castle, they were laughing.
Laughing?
It angers him. Vala has never laughed the way she was doing with Blue to him. He has never seen her laugh before, including the smile she was giving to Blue. Before he could stop himself, he started walking towards them.
"So those marks on you?" Blue said, ceasing his laughter.
"Oh, I was born with it, do you have a problem with it?"
"No, it makes you look like a badass, like you can take whatever that is thrown at you." Blue replied, moving closer to her. Softly removing her hair from that side of her face and placing one of his hands on it. "It makes you stand out, you are so beautiful Vala that I wish you were my mate. I would love you, I will never dream of hurting you," he said softly and leaned forward to kiss her.
Vala closed her eyes expecting the kiss, tears rolling down her eyes, but she heard a noise, grunt, and when she opened her eyes, she saw Blue on the floor, the palace compound floor. Ruthless had thrown him from the corridor. For a while Vala thought he wasn't moving until she saw him move his legs, she breathed.
"So you were actually going to kiss him?" Ruthless asked in anger.
"I see no wrong in doing that, just because you are my mate doesn't mean I shouldn't kiss someone who is my mate brother." Vala told him repeating his words to him.
Ruthless felt hurt as his heart felt like exploding. He placed one of his hands over his chest, it was hurting him.
"I now understand how you feel Vala."
"Oh you haven't yet Ruthless because I am going down there to kiss Blue, a bruising kiss."
