You Are My Obsession (Part 6):
"You won't do that," Ruthless said.
"Oh you just watch and see me in action." Vala told him stubbornly.
"What are you going to gain in doing this Vala?" Ruthless asked, "Nothing, absolutely nothing." He answered his own question.
"I will gain two things, first one is for you to know how it feels when you hurt the one that loves you, and secondly for you to admit your mistake and tell me love me," she said.
"I don't know how to admit to things Vala but if it pleases you to know this, well.my heart was hurt when I saw you trying to kiss him. If I hadn't step in on time he would have succeeded." Ruthless told her eyeing Blue, by now the guards on night duties had circled Blue and were trying to carry him, which they succeeded and left for his room. "That serves him right," he said and turned to look at Vala smiling, "Are we good now?"
"That is not enough Ruthless, don't come any closer to me again until you admit your mistake and beg for my forgiveness and after which you tell me how much you love me, only then shall we be on the same page. And you, if you fail to understand what love is, then you can go and be with your beloved Athena and let me be." Vala told him and left him, running through the corridor, remembering the turns and steps she and Blue had taken.
"But I am trying," Ruthless said to himself as he stared at Vala's retreating back. He disappeared and reappeared in his room where he found his father already waiting for him.
Vala asked one of the guards where Blue was taken and she was directed to his room, getting to his room, Vala knocked and Queen Lati asked.
"Who is it?"
"Vala, I want to know if Blue is okay," Vala said as she heard footsteps approaching the door before it opened to reveal Queen Lati's face.
"Why don't you come in and find out for yourself my daughter in law," queen Lati said with a large smile as she usher Vala in.
Going to meet Blue who was on his bed, he smiled widely when he saw her.
"I know you wouldn't leave me."
"I won't Blue, you are in this condition because of me," Vala said.
"No, you are not the reason Vala, my brother has anger issues, extremely anger issues that he can't control, so just blame his anger and not yourself. I will be good as new by tomorrow morning, my bones are healing."
Vala nodded her head. "I am still sorry, I have to get going now, I will see you in school tomorrow Blue." Vala told him, "Don't stress yourself."
Blue nods his head once and sits upright on his bed and watches as Vala turns to leave. "Won't you give a good night kiss?" He asked and Vala halts in her movement.
Facing him and leaning forward to peck his forehead but it seems Blue read her mind and he tilted his head so in this way his lips crashed with Vala unexpectedly.
Vala tried to yank her lips from his but he uses one of his free hands to hold her in place, gasping in shock, he uses that opportunity to his tongue to explore her mouth. He soon let go and watched as Vala shifted away from him.
"You know, I will take care of you more than him, I will love you and cherish you all our lives Vala if you give us a chance. I love you."
Vala stared at him in shock, she wasn't expecting that sooner. "I will see you tomorrow in school Blue," she said and left bidding good night to Queen Lati.

"Father, what brings you here?"
Galore smiled with pride when he heard Ruthless calling him 'father'
"I saw your look when we were eating, I hope everything is alright son."
"Everything is not alright father, my mate visited Blue and not me."
"Maybe she doesn't know you are her mate."
"She knows father and is doing this on purpose just because she saw me kissing Athena which means nothing to me. And now I just saw her trying to kiss Blue. I felt hurt and I don't understand why my heart is hurting."
Galore felt on top of the world when Ruthless told him his problem and did not hide it as usual. This will be the first time seeing this panic look on Ruthless face.
"I still don't understand why I should beg her for kissing Athena when I have known the goddess for years now."
"So you see no wrong in what you did with Athena?" Galore asked.
"No,"
"That's when you are wrong, you see mates tend to be jealous when they see their other half with someone who is not them. It is not right to hurt the one you claim to love. You should have apologise to her, admit your mistake and buy her flowers, a lot of flowers, girls love flowers."
"Okay, I will buy her some flowers," he whispered almost to himself, "What about the hurt I am feeling in my heart right now?"
"My dear son, you are hurt to see her in the arms of another man, right?"
"Yes father,"
"It means you are in love."
"Oh not the 'L' word again."
"Take for instance your mother, if I hadn't turned my back on her, she wouldn't have die of a broken heart. She was in love with me and I took it for granted. Don't be like me son, try to find a place in your heart to love. Don't create another Flower in Vala."
Staring at Galore with unreadable eyes.
"Just one question father."
"What question son?"
"When did you become this intelligent?" Ruthless asked and Galore laughed as Ruthless smiled. "I have got to wait for my mate before she leaves. We get to talk about her mother when I come back, father." He added and teleported himself outside the palace gate.
He didn't have to wait for long when Vala walked out, when she saw him, she hissed loudly.
Ignoring that, he moved closer to her.
"Didn't you hear what I told you before? Don't come any closer to me," Vala asked as she walks faster to get away from him but wasn't lucky. Ruthless grabbed hold of her waist and brought her closer to his body so that her body was resting on his. The scent of Blue filled his nose.
"So you kissed him," he said, trying not to show the hurt in his voice.
"I didn't, I just wanted to peck his forehead and he kissed me instead, he should just count his stars because I would have made him cripple." Vala told him.
That made Ruthless smile.
"I am sorry for what I did with Athena, I promise never to do that again." Ruthless told her, kissing her the top of her head. "I was told girls like flowers, so from now henceforth you shall sleep and wake up in flowers."
"Is that all?"
"Yes, but, well, I am trying to understand the 'L' word and I feel hurt just the same way you felt."
"I am tired, let's go home, and no, I don't want you to teleport us, I want us to walk."
"Anything you want M'lady," he said as he let go of her waist to grab a hand of hers and they started walking towards her apartment.
They had only covered a few meters when Ruthless suddenly shouted 'Aww' falling to the ground.
"What is it Winter?"
"My legs, I think I broke a toe," he answered and Vala bent down to check.
"Which of your toes?"
"I thought you were going to kiss me and not ask me a question," Ruthless said rolling his eyes, getting up to his feet together with Vala, "I have missed your lips, beautiful."
"Then prove it my Winter."
Ruthless smirk and the full Moon emerged.
