At that moment, Vala's brother died, Vala shook him hard trying to wake him up but her efforts didn't yield. He cried out the more when she realized truly her brother was gone. Her rage grew.
So engrossed with her tears, Vala didn't see the black centipede that came out from her brother's mouth as the centipede crawled and entered Flower leg.
"Everything will be alright Vala, maybe Nilela has a reason for doing what he did," Flower said to her.
Vala didn't say a word.
"Sorry about the loss but what has happened has happened," Daniel said, "Zelik, take him and bury him immediately." he told Zelik, who nodded his head and bent down to carry Vala's brother from Vala body, together with Vala, they left the throne room.
"How were you able to do it, son?"
"Is the part of killing the whole villagers or bringing Vala's brother who told Vala it was Nilela who had attacked them?" Daniel asked with a cruel smile.
"Both."
"First of all, I told Zelik to wipe out the entire village and bring back one of Vala's brothers with him, he should be threatened and lie that it was Nilela who had destroyed his village, Zelik described Nilela to him. I also saw what you did back then,"
"Oh, the centipede poisoned all his vital organs, I wanted Vala to cry, her tears gladly filled my heart." Flower told her son.
"Not as much as me, mother, I was happy and I can't wait to watch her fight with Nilela. There is something else I want to tell you."
"Okay, tell me, I am listening."
"Two days ago, when I was training Zelda, I decided to take a stroll outside the kingdom of Nilela. I met my mate."
"Wow, and you didn't even inform me since? Who is she and where is she from?"
"Her name is Lati, she is the Princess of the witch kingdom, but, I am not happy she is my mate. The joy of finding a mate didn't even cross my mind."
"Because of Vala?"
"Yes, I wanted her to become my mate but our fate isn't destined to be together and that's why I am going to kill her, no one, absolutely no one will have her." Daniel told his mother.
"Maybe after Vala's death, you will come to love your mate."
"Probably, until then," he said, "I am happy, this happened, now let's see if Nilela knows what is coming." he added.

All through the day, Vala cried as she awaits for Nilela's presence. She was outside the palace building, waiting and hoping that he showed up, with Nilela sword in her right hand. When it was midnight and Nilela did not show up, she knew he wouldn't come. Probably he must be resting after killing her people. She had removed the chain Nilela had given her and had kept it and locked it in Mary's wardrobe before she came outside to wait for him.
"Won't you sleep?" Daniel's voice said behind her.
"I am not feeling sleepy," Vala responded, her eyes never leaving the sky above her. At that moment, she wished she had wings.
"Okay, what about food or water, Mary told me you haven't eaten anything since."
"I am not hungry either."
"At least eat something, how would you fight with an empty stomach?" Daniel asked, pretending to feel concerned.
"I will not eat or drink anything until I have, Nilela head beneath my leg."
Daniel smirked when he heard those words.
"Okay, suit yourself, goodnight Vala," he said and went back inside the building.

Early the next morning, which was on the day of the tournament, Nilela left the angel kingdom and flew towards the Nilela kingdom.
Landing a few feets away from her, he saw Vala, standing and glaring at him and she was holding his sword. He smiled at her.
"Do you want me to teach you how to fight with my sword, beautiful?" Nilela asked with a charming smile as he approached her. "I would have gladly done so but I have a tournament to win and I don't want to stress my muscles." he added.
Vala raised the sword up and attacked him, Nilela was fast to dodge the sword.
"What is wrong with you Vala? Did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed?" he asked, smiling thinking Vala was playing.
"I will kill you," Vala said and strike again, this time Nilela wasn't fast to dodge, she used her left hand which had transformed into her wolf claws and clawed on Nilela's face. The noise they were making attracted the guards, servants, Daniel and his mother to the scene.
Seeing the fight and how Vala was able to claw Nilela's face, drawing out blood before it started closing, brought a large smile on the face of Daniel and Flower.
"Are you that serious about fighting with me?" he asked and when Vala grunted in response and strike again, this time Nilela didn't dodge, he grabbed the sword and forced it out of Vala hand, and pushed Vala, not forcefully, away from him. "What did you eat last night Vala?" he asked. "Anyway I am not here to play so quit playing this stupid game you're playing would you, I am here to see Daniel and not to fight.
At the mention of his name, Daniel left where was standing and hurried to meet Nilela, he stopped Vala's next attack and pushed Vala to the floor.
"Guards! What are you stupid fools still waiting for, subdue her, now." Daniel yelled out the words and the guards who have been watching, hurried up to pin Vala down.
Nilela stretched forth his right hand and moved it to the side, all the guards were lifted up and they were thrown away.
"I did not ask for any of your help," Nilela said going to meet Vala and tried to bring her up to her feet, but Vala used that opportunity to clawed at his chest giving Nilela's clothes marks, he drops her back to the ground and held her hands tightly with one of his hand. "What is wrong with you today? I don't have time for this nonsense. If not the love I have for you, I would have killed you."
Vala opened her mouth to speak but Nilela used his angelic silent spell to shut Vala's voice. "When I am back we will discuss this new madness of yours." he added and let Vala go, pinning her to the ground, he turned to face Daniel.
"I came here to give you this," Nilela said and brought out a golden transparent lantern filled with golden sand. "You said you wanted a personal army so I made the falcons for you, they are neither like us but I created them to be strong in their strengths, whenever you need them, just place your thumb finger on top of the lantern and the falcons are yours to obey. But remember, use them for good purpose only." Nilela gave the lantern to Daniel who collected it with joy. "You can try it to see for yourself."
"No need for that, I trust you."
Nilela smiled. "The tournament will be starting soon and u have to go help my fighting colleague, I will be back once I have a winner."
"Thank you so much for your gift, Nilela, Zelda and these falcons are the best gift ever, thank you."
"Clean up my sword and take care of Vala, I shall soon return." Nilela told him.
"I will Nilela."
Nilela went back to meet Vala, he leaned forward and kissed her on her forehead before he released his invisible hold on her, returning her voice back.
"Once I return, you will tell me what made you this angry." Nilela told her, bringing out his white wings and fly away, heading towards the place where the tournament is taking place.
Vala stood up from the ground and ran towards Mary's room.
"Zelik my friend," Daniel called out, and the guard walked up to him. "Go with some of the guards and summon all the whole Nilela people to the palace, tell the guards stationed at the gate to open it down for the people."
"I will do just that my King," Zelik said and left to do as ordered.
"What are you planning to do?" Flower asked her son, going to meet him.
"You just watch and see," Daniel said with a lopsided smile.
