Daniel laughed. "Well since I won't be participating in the ongoing tournament, I would really love it if you can give me strong armies to use for battles, please."
"Okay, I shall create some armies for you, strong ones before the tournament which is in two days time." Nilela promised, "Let's train."
"I was waiting for you to say that," Daniel said and they began to fight.
"You are good with the knife, Daniel," Nilela said as he dodged Daniel's strike.
"Thank you," Daniel said and thrust once again, this time around in Nilela's neck and he succeeded, slicing a bit of Nilela's neck and dodging the sword aiming at him, he wasn't fast, the sword cut his stomach, tearing his layer of clothes.
"We are even now," Nilela said, moving back and smiling. The wound on his neck closed and so did Daniel's own.
Daniel smirked, "Yes, we even."
They continued their training until it was almost dark before they sat down on the floor, Vala brought water for Nilela and Mary brought Daniel his own water.
"You fight good my dear," Vala appraised Nilela, "You are good with your beautiful sword."
"I am doing that to impress you my love," Nilela said with a lopsided smile, pulling Vala to seat on his laps.
Giving the cup back to Mary who took it and left their presence.
"Vala, please could you excuse us, I need to discuss something with Nilela, privately, don't be offended," Daniel said nicely.
"Okay," Vala said, getting up and leaning forward to peck Nilela on his forehead. "Don't leave without seeing me." she added and left them with her empty cup.
"What is it that you wanted to discuss privately with me Daniel?"
"Can you give me your sword, I am in love with it."
"The sword isn't mine Daniel, it was gifted to me by Michael from one of his twin swords."
"I will take good care of it, please. I know I am good with knives but I couldn't help but admire your sword, please my brother."
"You like taking what is not yours Daniel and it's not good, sometimes you have to play the role of a fool to fool the fools who think they are fooling you."
"Meaning? I don't understand you."
Nilela laughed, "Here is the sword, take good care of it and yourself." he told him and gave Daniel his sword. He stood up to his feet. "I have got to go, see you before the tournament." he added and left, heading towards the direction Vala had taken.
Daniel stood up and jumped in happiness, not only has he succeeded in using the knife to draw out blood from his body, but he has also succeeded in collecting his sword.
Everything has fallen into place and soon Vala will hate Nilela and resent him, at that moment he will have his revenge on her.
He quickly left the training ground and went to his room, a few minutes later he heard the flagging of wings which indicates Nilela leaving.
He left his room with Nilela sword and went to look for Zelik, he found him and stretched forth Nilela's sword towards him.
"It's time, go to Vala village and destroy everything and everyone except one of Vala's brothers. You know what to do with the sword afterwards."
Zelik nodded his head and collected the sword.
"Kill the guards that will go with you before you return. I want to hear good news." Daniel told him and Zelik left to carry out his orders.

Early the next morning, Vala woke up at the voice of Daniel shouting her name.
She saw him covered in blood.
"Why are you bleeding?"
"It is not my blood, come with me, you need to see this yourself," Daniel said, dragging Vala out of her bed and forcing Vala to run alongside him as he led her straight to the throne room.
Entering the throne room, Vala halts when she sees the little boy barely 12 on Flower's lap. The boy's body was covered in blood as his blood stained the floor. Flower was trying to give him water to drink but the little boy couldn't, it seems his throat was sliced a little open and Flower was trying to stop the blood and heal the cut.
Vala's body freezed as she recognize her little brother.
"Remember that night when I said I would look after your people as part of our bargain, well, I sent two of my guards to your village to give your people what I promised you, and saw they were already attacked and killed, they found your little brother still breathing."
"No," Vala said and ran up to where her brother lay, she carefully placed his head on her lap. "Talk to me, who did this to you?"
"A villager we saw before she gave up the ghost told us a mad man had come into the village and started killing everyone of them." Zelik said.
"A mad man? Who is he? Who is that bastard?" Vala asked in anger.
"Speak little boy, please, I want us to revenge whoever that has torture you." Daniel told the boy.
"H--he c--a-lls him---se--lf Ni--le--la," the boy said with great difficulty.
"What? Nilela?" she nodded his head. "That's impossible."
"H--e ha--s ra-in-bow ey-es an-d ha-ir."
"I can't believe it."
"Probably you would believe this, we saw this sword on the floor," Zelik said, bringing out the bloody stained sword.
Vala collected the sword as the scent of her mother's and siblings blood filled her nostrils. She remembered seeing the sword with Nilela yesterday.
"I am going to kill Nilela." Vala said with much hatred as she called his name. The chain round her rattled a bit but she ignored it. "I will kill him."
Daniel smirked, Vala had believed Nilela killed her people, one of his plans had worked,he had succeeded in making Vala hate Nilela.
Soon, he will have his revenge on her and Nilela won't be there to save her.
