"You may be right Vala, but the question is, who can that be?"
"Maybe you should start from the beginning to look."
"I don't get you,"
"Where did you live before you came to the supernatural kingdom? Who are your mother's people, start from there and I am sure you would find the answer or a clue that will lead you to the answer." Vala told him, putting off the fire once she noticed the broth was ready, she brought two plates and put some of the broth on it. Ruthless helped her to carry the two plates to the living room and they sat down opposite each other.
"My mother never spoke of anyone in her family and when I asked her she told me she has none."
"Not that I am doubting your mother but have you asked your father that question? He might have an idea of who your mother is, he cannot just sleep with someone without knowing her identity."
"True, I will ask him but that will be after the full Moon."
"Let's eat before it gets cold and oh, heads up, if you complain about the food, just know you won't be seeing this Princess cooking ever again."
Ruthless raised an eyebrow and ate the food quietly.
"So how was it?" She asked as soon as he finished the broth.
"Let's just say from now henceforth you won't be entering the kitchen again, I will have the palace cook bring us food, my mate shouldn't be seen inside the kitchen."
Vala smiled, "Thanks honey."
"So are you ready for your second surprise?"
"Yes,"
"Any moment from now."

King Galore hurried up to his throne room, he had just been informed that his messengers has arrived and was waiting for him at his throne room.
One of the guards opened the door that leads into the throne room and closed it once the King had passed.
"Any good news?" He asked his two messengers.
"No my King, none of the other king's has the Demon queen wife in their dungeons."
"Thank you, you may leave." King Galore told them and watched them leave.
If Queen Alfy isn't in the whole supernatural dungeons then where could she be?
The only one thing his son has ever asked him to do and he won't disappoint him.

"Son, why this gloomy face of yours? Did something happen in school?" Queen Lati asked her son. She had gone to see him in his room after her visit to Eyes, to discuss with him but met him on his bed, with a gloomy face.
"I went to school but didn't get to see Vala, she wasn't in school today mother, neither did I see Ruthless and yesterday was the full moon, who knows what would have happened between the two or if he had marked her as his mate."
"Blue my son," she began sitting beside him. "There is something I need to discuss with you."
"Okay,"
"Just know that you mother can never mislead you," she said and he nodded. "I want you to marry a friend of mine who has the spell we can use to kill Ruthless." She told him.
"No, if it is not Vala, I won't get married to anyone else. I love Vala and I want to marry only her."
"But you haven't seen this friend of mine and besides don't you want Ruthless powers any more? Don't you want to be strong?"
"I want to be strong, mother, but not in this way. Count me out."
"Come down to the dining room soon my son, we shall discuss about this later."

Vala's Apartment:
"It is almost two hours and the surprise hasn't arrived." Vala whined.
"Patient little one," Ruthless said and at that moment, Ice Fang appeared with Pula in his back.
"Pula!!!" Vala screamed and faced Ruthless. "I can't believe this is the surprise, thank you my Winter."
"No she isn't the surprise, that is." He said, pointing at the large black Willow flower in Pula hand. "As if I care about her."
"Wow, you didn't miss me?" Ice Fang asked Vala as he lowered himself to the ground to fit in the living room and allow Pula to jump down from his back.
"Yeah I mis- wait a minute, who was the other Ice Fang that did the deed with me yesterday night?" Vala asked remembering when Ice Fang had taken over Ruthless body, she heard his voice through him.
"And who told you there is only one Ice Fang?"
