The Great Master

Several people seemed to be standing as Theophile and Lavelle walked into the building which was almost one hundred percent built with bulletproof glass, some eyes looked like eagles looking for prey but the gazes stopped when Theophile and Lavelle arrived and sat down on a large chair in front of them. center of the room as the leader of Neo Greenpeace.

Several handsome men smiled when their eyes met Lavelle’s who looked awkward among all of them. A middle-aged man with a very beautiful crown sprinkled with colorful diamonds also smiled at Lavelle, then a butler in a neat suit came over to serve a bottle of whiskey and a bottle of wine. As a welcome for Lavelle, they also prepared several ladies-in-waiting who were ready to serve Lavelle and Daniella’s requests.

“Please, Grand Master.”

“Thank you, Patrick.” Theophile replied, however, not immediately pouring the whiskey or wine, but rather shaking off the robe he was wearing. “My presence here as a substitute for my father, and besides that I will introduce the girl who is now beside me as my soul mate.”

“So glad to hear that, Big Master, I am very grateful because after being heartbroken by Vanyacia you can get a new partner who is much prettier than Vanyacia.” One of the men quickly replied to Theophile’s words.

“I’m also very grateful, because as an older brother I can see him having a partner,” Tristan said later.

“May we know where your partner is from, Big Master Blanc?” another man asked.

Theophile was silent and then before long he answered the question with a bit of concern. “I don’t think it’s time for us to discuss this because, today we will be discussing something big regarding the continued development of our respective clans.”

“But wouldn’t—“

“It would be good if we opened the meeting right now.” The middle-aged man with a large crown interceded in the discussion of who and where Lavelle came from.

Because it was certain that it would make Lavelle, who had just joined in the middle of the big meeting, a little uncomfortable because she was asked very private questions, as an elder, the middle-aged man immediately opened up a way with a bit of a crazy welcome, namely watering some lotus flowers there with the beer that was just opened then ate some game animals such as squirrels and rabbits.

Lavelle wanted to throw up her entire stomach when she saw such a disgusting sight even so, Lavelle still held it in until in the end a butler pushed a water kettle filled with fresh bottom liquid--what kind of blood they were about to drink, which obviously made Lavelle so nauseous.

“This is called a hereditary ritual, are you feeling nauseous? If that’s true, you can ask some ladies-in-waiting to take you out.” Theophile whispered in Lavelle’s left ear who was now tightly holding his arm.

“No, it’s not like that... I just feel a little ticklish. However, I don’t feel good if I leave before this event is over.”

“It’s okay, just say you’re pregnant and feel sick when you see Elder Jun drinking the holy blood,” suggested Theophile.

“What the hell? They’re all vampires, how could they believe that.”

With a slight glance at Tristan next to him Theophile cleared his throat and then very politely interrupted the Elder by saying that some of the ladies-in-waiting had to take Lavelle to a comfortable place upstairs because she was having the child of Theophile--the future heir to the throne from Neo Greenpeace. All eyes looked at Theophile with a look that was hard to define, but those eyes filled with tears as Theophile wrapped his arms around Lavelle’s waist with tenderness--reminding them of Theophile’s  long-dead parents.

The ladies-in-waiting took Lavelle to a very comfortable room filled with some delicious snacks and various flavored drinks. There were also some snacks that were deliberately made for pregnant women—Lavelle cursed in annoyance when she noticed an octopus seasoned with black pepper and some cola-colored liquid that smelled like Ciu being served right in front of Lavelle.

In the end, she couldn’t hold it in anymore and vomited all the contents of her stomach all over the blue dress she was wearing. The ladies-in-waiting were so shocked that they even trembled in fear that something fatal would happen to Lavelle.

“Mrs. Blanc, are you alright? Should we call Doctor Charlotte or Doctor Esther to examine you?” bargained a lady with teary eyes.

“I-I’m fine, there’s no need to worry. Just a little nauseous,” Lavelle mumbled later.

“But, you look very pale right now, Your Majesty.”

“Just keep this dish out of my sight, it’s a little disgusting.” Lavelle thrust the plate containing the strange octopus in front of her, then took water and drank it almost completely.

Several ladies-in-waiting immediately cleaned up the vomit droppings from the floor with a makeshift tool while one of them immediately went to return the octopus dish to the small kitchen table in the room.

Daniella entered the room in a bit of a hurry and saw Lavelle who looked very weak, worriedly she approached Lavelle.

“Are you serious? You…”

“Don’t ask first, I’m really nauseous right now.”

“Oh my… these two days don’t you tell me you actually did that thing with Theophile? Is that true?” Daniela bombarded Lavelle with the stupid questions she always asked.

“I will answer that later, now please be quiet.”

“Alright… alright… but, promise me that you’ll want to answer it.”

“What are you doing here anyway? Are you feeling nauseous too?” asked Lavelle then.

“I was worried about you, I was really surprised to see you,” said Daniela.

“No need to worry about me, I’m fine.”

A few seconds later a lady handed them a plate of chocolate cake sprinkled with crumbled roasted peanuts that looked so crunchy and delicious. Without second thought Lavelle wanted the chocolate cake and asked the lady to grant it.

“Why is there such a ritual anyway? An expectant mother like you would definitely be disgusted to see that.”

“Shut up.”

“Could it be you...”

“Why should I be quiet? Can I not ask you one bit? I was just wondering how you managed to do that? And you should have told your mother and sister.” Daniela started nagging because Lavelle didn’t give her a chance to talk.

Lavelle just sighed, then she took a glass of water for the second time. “I’ll tell you but not now.”

“I want you to tell me about it now, not later,” Daniela replied.

“Remember that I really don’t like someone who is so pushy like that.”
