Love Bounds

“You look quite sad this afternoon, may I know about your problem?” asked Theophile as he stood alone on the balcony of Theophile’s room enjoying the dim light of the evening sun that was already on the western horizon.

“I’m fine, maybe you’re just too worried about me,” Lavelle muttered with an occasional nod.

“Am I wrong for worrying about you? I love you so much, and I don’t want to see you sad.” Theophile grabbed Lavelle’s waist and rested her head on Lavelle’s left shoulder after kissing the top of the girl’s head quite gently and affectionately.

“I want to talk to you,” Lavelle mumbled a little hoarsely.

“Just tell me, why are you suddenly being so awkward like that,” continued Theophile still hugging Lavelle very spoiled even occasionally exhaling around Lavelle’s cheeks.

“It’s going to be more difficult,” said Lavelle, feeling unsure.

“About what,” asked Theophile.

Lavelle took a deep breath and then tried to release Theophile’s grip which was getting tighter. “I’ve been thinking about this since yesterday however, I don’t dare to say it yet.”

“Why is it like that? Are you afraid to talk about it or is it about your evil father?” Theophile pursed her lips a little in annoyance.

“No but it’s about my desire to go to the college suggested by Liza, you know actually I’m not a very good at hanging out with other people, I want to change little by little, Theo,” Lavelle replied a little doubtfully.

“College?” repeated Theophile with his eyes widening.

“Um… yes… the college suggested by Liza and I can just access it from home,” Lavelle answered.

Theophile nodded then watched as he let go of Lavelle’s embrace and slightly inched to give space between the two of them, Theophile gently stroked the top of Lavelle’s head. “Do you want to attend it?”

Lavelle nodded without uttering a word, Theophile sighed then looked back at the sun that had almost completely set leaving behind a streak of orange and red clouds.

“Actually if you want to attend that college I don’t mind, you said that it could be accessed from home.” Theophile laughed in a tone that seemed disinterested.

“Theo… do you mind if I go over there? We can chat with each other on some social media?” Lavelle asked then picked up her own phone revealing her phone which was completely full of virtual apps.

“Actually I don’t want to hear that question anymore, Lavelle. I’m not used to being away from you yet,” Theophile muttered in a tone that instantly became even.

“I’m sorry, I was just trying to get out quickly—“

“Can you do that from here? Just invite your mother over here and let us be like that,” Theophile interrupted, emphasizing each syllable a little.

“I just wanted to talk about this heart to heart with you why did you suddenly change?” Lavelle sighed and turned her face to another place because she realized the atmosphere around them suddenly became chaotic because of Lavelle’s wish which was very difficult to realize.

Theophile exhaled slowly then took Lavelle’s hand sneaking everything in without the help of words, Theophile didn’t want to stay away from Lavelle because he was really addicted to being around the silver haired girl, in fact he always wanted to stick with her like a sticker.

Theophile spoke again, “I’m really not a person who really understands the desires of a natural human being, I’m just trying to always be close to you, do I look like a very annoying person in front of you?”

Without answering Theophile’s question, Lavelle immediately hugged the one hundred and seventy-three tall man and buried her face into his broad chest. The look of confusion was evident in Theophile’s eyes however, he had to keep telling himself that everything was fine including Lavelle.

A large bowl of ramen is served on a nightstand along with a glass of warm milk which is put into a long glass and given a little sprinkle of cinnamon powder. Making the girl with silver blonde hair wake up and immediately circulated her entire gaze around the luxurious room which was now illuminated by the slightly dim lamp. A little surprised when she heard the sound of water rustling from the bathroom.

The clock on the wall showed nine o’clock at night, Lavelle rubbed her eyelids then slowly removed the thick blanket and then took it back because she noticed something strange and unusual, a little disgusting when she realized she was wearing Theophile’s shirt again.

Lavelle tried to get rid of her bad thoughts but, she coushe't do it because she felt a strange pain in her feminine area, it felt like she wanted to slap herself at that moment—considering she wasn’t really aware of what had happened a while ago.

Suddenly the sound of the water rustling was gone, Lavelle sighed as Theophile came out with her red hair wet with splashing water and wearing only a light bathrobe staring at the muscles of her stomach that were so shaped like brown bread that had just come out of the oven.

“You’re awake apparently, how about you take a shower first?” Theophile said grinning when she saw the strange expression of Lavelle who was now huddled under his thick blanket.

“What are you doing? Are you crazy? How could you—“

“I’m just doing what you want,” Theophile mumbled then walked over to Lavelle, sat on the edge of the king size bed and then grabbed a remote to tune in to a television program.

“What is this? You’re really going too far,” Lavelle grumbled deliberately hitting Theophile on the back with a large and soft bolster, causing the young vampire to turn around and put on eyes that were hard to even betray.

Those eyes shone like the moon on the fifteenth, a full moon surrounded by a sprinkling of pure white stars and dark clouds slightly gray. Lavelle was completely stunned that she couldn’t continue her anger because those eyeballs were so charming.

“What are we really doing?” asked Lavelle.

“What do you think, my love?” asked Theophile grinning again and pulling something out of the drawer, I don't know what pill it was that clearly looked like a lot.

“What? Don’t make me more—“

“Eat first, I’ll tell you later.” Theophile interrupted Lavelle’s words again and lay down on Lavelle’s left without taking off his bathrobe, making his stomach muscles even more visible.

Lavelle gulped down her own saliva with difficulty, with quivering lips she replied, “Theophile . . . ”

“I’ve asked Sophia to make you a special ramen, eat the ramen before it gets really cold,” Theophile said later.

Lavelle glanced at the ramen then shifted while nursing in pain as she picked up the bowl of ramen, giggling when she noticed an aberration between the two of them that night. Lavelle also accidentally smelled the minty scent that was sprayed from the air purifier.

“Eat a lot.” Theophile’s message

“Alright,” Lavelle replied, taking a thick roll from the ramen noodles.

Lavelle really had a thousand and one questions for Lavelle’s presence in Theophile’s room and asking what had really happened between them until Lavelle felt that strange pain.
