Peaches And Cream

“It’s almost completely healed, you must be diligent in taking the medicine and potions I gave you, Mrs. Your soft bone tissue is almost healed it’s just a matter of perfecting the thin tissue.” Doctor Charlotte reloaded his medical kit and handed her a bottle of potion that he had brought with him.

On the other hand, Daniela handed Lavelle’s cellphone which received many incoming messages from her longing mother, Daniela even said that Christelle was very worried about her because it had been almost a week without news to her. Lavelle took a deep breath, then took the cell phone—replying to one by one the messages sent by Christelle, replying to her messages with love.

“You don’t want to go down? Theophile looks like he’s about to cook you something delicious.” Daniela said to Lavelle.

“What?” asked Lavelle a little nonchalantly. “Gosh… I almost forgot that I had to send some files to Liza.”

“What files?” Daniela continued quickly.

“I promised to send a file to apply to a college online because I thought I should try to get out of this uncomfortable life,” Lavelle muttered.

Daniela took a deep breath, then turned her attention back to her own cell phone. “I hope so too.”

“I’m tired of living like this,” Lavelle muttered.

“Lavelle… but aren’t you already comfortable with Theophile? Are you uncomfortable?” asked Daniela half-astonished.

“I feel comfortable but, I caI't be sure I will get out of my trauma,” Lavelle replied.

Daniela nods. “True, but you have to answer every question from Theophile which must be difficult to answer.”

“Of course he won’t let me go easily but I’m sure he can give me permission—“

A knock sounded, interrupting their conversation, Daniela immediately went to the door and opened it—seeing Sophia the elf with bright yellow wings appear in front of the door while holding the most beautiful smile she usually has.

“Is there anything I need that I need to help?” asked Daniela raising one eyebrow with her arms folded in front of her chest.

“Um… sorry Your Majesty… I was asked by Mr. Theophile to call the two of you to the main floor to enjoy some freshly plucked peaches from the garden we grew,” Sophia said with a hint of fear in her tone.

“Um... I see, tell him we’ll be down soon, thanks for telling both of us,” Lavelle joked preventing Daniela from being more rude with Sophia who had been kind enough to accommodate all their requests.

“Very well, Your Majesty.” After saying that, Sophia immediately left and Daniela closed the door with a slight slam, then went to Lavelle who was about to get up and left the room.

“You’re pregnant anyway, how could Theophile let you feel tired.” Daniela glanced at Lavelle’s stomach.

“Eungh… ohh… actually I…”

“You’d better discuss it with Theophile later, I will be the front guard if you are allowed to take part in the lesson,” Daniela interrupted Lavelle’s words who looked very awkward.

“Well then, we’d better go downstairs and meet them now.” Lavelle walked first, in order to cover her face which was increasingly looking very awkward and unsightly.

Maybe it was true what Daniela said that she should have a chat with Theophile first and discuss her plans to go to the college suggested by her older sister, Liza. Because after all Lavelle was introduced as the mate of Theophile, the leader of the Neo Green peace clan, it even sounds so strange if she suddenly disappeared from Neo Green Peace.

Theophile who saw Lavelle’s arrival immediately prepared an opening for a comfortable seat for Lavelle. Theophile brothers looked very enthusiastic to welcome Lavelle and Daniela—Mark who had almost recovered smiled at Lavelle and Daniela.

“Sit slowly future sister-in-law, you are pregnant.” Yonathan handed her a plate of chocolate muffins.

“Yes that’s right. Your baby-to-be is okay, right Brother Theo?” Jeffrey asked with a worried face.

“Um… I’m not really sure but, it should be fine. Doctor Charlotte also said the same thing,” Theophile said a little doubtfully.

“Thankfully if he’s okay, he’s the future successor of Neo Green Peace,” said Shotaro later.

Dyovacko who was enjoying a ripe peach in front of him responded to Shotaro’s words, “Even if he’s not all right, the two of them can get married soon and give a new successor.”

“Such a misguided path, because I thought committing to having children was too difficult to follow, especially when our partner has had a major trauma isn’t that enough to make the heart flutter every time?” Tristan, the eldest brother spoke up as if he was discussing Lavelle’s current state of affairs.

“Listening to a bit of relaxation audio might make the trauma feel less though not all of it, brain relaxation is also important.” Johnny chimed in.

Theophile glanced at Lavelle who was silent, then picked up one of the peaches that was ripe red and there was a slight white spot a sign that the fruit was really fresh and had just been picked from the tree—Theophile handed the peach to Lavelle, asking the girl to taste the fruit.

Lavelle accepted it without saying a word to Theophile, because she thought there she shouldn’t be talking about her wish to attend the college suggested by Liza, because Theophile’s siblings so much expected her to be there.

“Is there any problem? Doctor Charlotte didn’t say the worst, did he? You’ll be fine, won’t you?” asked Theophile in a soft voice.

Lavelle smiled then gave a small nod. “Everything is fine, and there is nothing to worry about.”

“Then why does your face look sad like that? Do you have any more problems?” asked Theophile one more time.

“If there’s a problem it’s best not to keep it to yourself, you’ve already eaten half your life to feel pain, aren’t you satisfied enough to feel pain alone?” cut Johnny with his brows knit together.

“I really don’t have a big problem, I just feel bad for always making you guys feel worried. I was only thinking about my mother and sister,” Lavelle replied then lied a little.

Johnny and Yonathan looked at each other, then Yonathan immediately spoke up, “Why don’t you bring your mother and sister here? We would be happy to welcome them here.”

“Brother, it’s not easy to convince new people to live here, after all… we're not human,” Tristan interrupted their conversation with a bit of an enigmatic thought.

“That’s true but, it wouldn’t hurt to try, right?” Lucas replied, “Love isn’t just about the age difference, and the world difference, right? In fact there are still many people out there who can love each other in all their respective cases. It’s just a matter of time, plus Lavelle is pregnant.”

“How about you invite Lavelle’s Mom to have dinner here in the next few days? At the same time you introduce us all to her?” suggested Johnny to Theophile.

“I don’t know, yesterday Daniela had intended to invite her here but, I don’t know why they didn’t come.” Theophile let out quite a long sigh. “It’s better now we enjoy this fruit, don’t worry.”

“Okay,” Johnny said as he took a peach that had been peeled by Jeffrey, he quickly ate it.

Wynsley the quiet vampire accidentally dropped the peach on the floor with the fruit knife still stuck in the fruit in the end when it was picked up, the peach had a strange sculpture that resembled Hendery.

When Wynsley pointed this out to some of his other siblings, they looked so happy they burst out laughing, occasionally mocking Hendery who was more or less like a pony.

“Handsome ponies are also good at attracting women’s hearts, Hendery complained, “I’m a hooker like LOC.”

“Does the LOC know you? He’s even seen you before,” Jonathan chuckled.

“Yonathan, you scared him a little. Never mind, don’t make him feel useless as a pony.” Johnny made the room feel like it was filled with twenty-three comedians in the guise of handsome vampires.

“I’m also a handsome vampire, how can you make me look creepy like that huh?” Yonathan asked later, “I am a handsome and cruel vampire.”

“Jeez, what the hell are you guys doing?” Tristan grumbled while laughing.

A moment later after finishing, Johnny stood up and immediately acted like Squidward in the Spongebob cartoon. This made Lavelle and Daniela laugh and even couldn’t stop laughing, they coughed and laughed when they saw Mark following in Johnny’s footsteps.

“I’m very happy when I see Lavelle can laugh with so much satisfaction,” said Mark then showed some expressions that are difficult to define.

“That’s right, it’s rare for me to see her laugh or smile.” Johnny chimed in, “And I’m still trying to look at it. Theo, you really should try to make her smile a little longer.”
