I could not understand what I need to do; on one side is my beloved who is the stealer of resistance stone and on the other side comes to my responsibilities as a Vampire king.
If I gave away the resistance stone, all my powers will fade; the powers I have other than being a normal Vampire; resistance stone is the source of my powers.
It’s not like I did not see the conflict and hurt in Zia’s eyes; it’s just a little too much.
Vampires don’t sleep but the entire night I was looking at the sky; trying to find answers; I have to choose. If I had to choose between others or this was related to another topic I would have taken every possible decision in seconds.
But now? I have to choose between me and me.
Just on both sides, my roles are entirely different; How do I do this now? How can I step away from my responsibilities?
“ Tyler? There I heard her honey-like voice filled with worry.
I turned my head to the left as my gaze fell on her; she was wearing the same dress from yesterday but it was a little wrinkled now. Her face filled with worry.
Her lips moved but I could not hear anything; I was lost in her.
“ TYLER! “ she screamed and pulled me back.
I frowned at her; “ what happened? “ I asked but shorty now cheek met with her hand.

“ you—“ before she could say another thing; I pulled her close to me and pressed my lips to hers. I wanted to take control but she did not let me; the kiss was fierce and full of passion.
She parted away from me just to take a look at my face before she kissed me again; I picked her up as she jumped on my waist; her legs around my body as I kissed her harder.
If she is going to kiss me like this she can slap me all she wants.
Pressing her body on the railing I was sitting on just a few seconds ago; I held her body close to mine as my hand slipped to her ass.
I gave her a squeeze as I heard that “ Aaahh, “ from her. Fuck! she is making me hard as fuck. Her moans are sexy as hell.
After what felt like forever; I left her swollen lips as I connected our foreheads; “ now may I know why you slapped me? “ I asked; still holding her in the same position.

I loved her scolding me like that but she needed to shut up and take a breath so I did what I could do my best; I pecked her lips lightly.
“ so you were worried that I’d fall and die? “ I asked, making sure to keep the human things in mind.
“ Suhhh! “ she hurriedly kept her palm on my lips.
“ Never, I say never ever speak of dying, “ she said as she looked into my eyes. The world was long forgotten, only she and I were the ones who mattered to me.

“ and what If I leave this word one day? “ I said but she glared at me with a sigh.
“ then, I’ll be the one to leave first, “ She said as I tried to find any ounce of a lie in her eyes but there was none.
True to her words; she did leave first.
“ come let’s go, your hands are too cold, “ I was immediately reminded of my lie; I was a human in her eyes.
She held my hand and started walking but I did not move; is it the right time to tell her everything?
“ what happened? She said as she turned around and looked at me when I did not start walking.
My face must have been blank because she looked confused,
“ resistance stone, “ she closed her eyes for a second.
“ Tyler, please, I don’t want to lose you, I can get the resistance stone any other way but not at the cost of your life, “ She said as she held my cold hands.

She licked her lips as she looked all around but not at me.
“ This can cost you your life, Tyler, “ She stated as she looked at me with determination.
“ You are not doing this, no, “ her voice was firm but I needed to tell her the truth and it was best if she finds out on her own than hearing it from someone else.
“ if this is going to cost me my life, I will be happy to give it to you, at least it will be for you, “ I said as I cupped her face. She winched at the coldness.
I was about to pull my hands back from her cheeks but she kept her hands on top of mine; she wanted me to stay.
“ Trust me, “ I said as she nodded after a second. A small smile made its way to my lips. After all this, I would not need to lie to her about me being a human.
