“What are we doing here exactly? “ Zia asked as she looked around; there were thousands and thousands of books there; surely a heaven for someone who loves books, romantic ones of course.
“I am not very sure but it must be in the third corner, “He said as he lit more lights.
“What must be in the third corner, Tyler? You are confusing me, “She said as she stood in front of him.
He liked his lips as he looked at her, “The forbidden book of the Vampire king, “He said as her jaw touched the ground.
“What? “She could not even scream because of the shock he just gave her.
“The Vampire king has a forbidden book, it has all the secrets of the Vampire king but some of them cannot be read by the vampire king himself, “Tyler said as he started to look at the selves for the book.
“How is that possible? It’s his book, “Zia reasoned.
“I know but fate has a different way of playing with our lives of us, It holds all the secrets for the Vampire king, he can read them all but nothing related to his beloved, when he will find his beloved, he will be able to read the page but not before, “he said as he moved to the other selves.
“Beloved…”She knew what a beloved is but she did not want to give off the impression that she knows about these things.
“The vampire’s other half is their beloved,” Tyler explained as she nodded.
“So the book has every way to get to the Vampire king? “ She asked still confirming something like this can even happen or exists.
“Yes, we need to find that book, rare ad beautiful red in color, a hardcover, find it,” She nodded at him as she started looking at the book all around but they were all black and some were golden.
“What are these golden books? “She asked curiously.
“Past, present, and future, “He replied as she looked at him chuckling.
“Seriously? Do you believe in all this? “She said wanting to laugh so hard.
“You don’t believe me? “ He asked as he took steps towards her.
“This is illogical, “She chuckled as he sneaked his arms around her waist and pulled her closer.
“Wait till you see resistance stone and then open the page of the same time in the book of the past, you’ll see it was written, “He said as she pecked his lips with a smile.
“We’ll see, “She said before going back to find the book that held all the secrets of the Vampire king.
“Did you find something?” She asked after she saw him looking at a particular book at the top of the book selves.
“I think I found it but I need your help, “He said as he felt her stand near him; the heat from her body mixed in the air as he inhaled her sand and rose sent.

“Hop on my hand and pull the book, make sure not to rip it, “She gulped as she looked at him but nodded anyway.
“Just Hop and pull,” He directed her as he intervened with his fingers; he looked at her as she took a deep breath; she jumped on his hand and held the selves.
“Oh shit!” She murmured as she felt herself hanging on the selves that could fall on her any second.
“Hold the book and let go, I’ll catch you, baby, “He said as she smiled.
“Don’t hurt me, “She said as she held the book before letting go of the book selves.
He was just behind her and there he caught her; she opened her an eye as she waited for the pain to come but it never did.
Smiling she looked at him as he laughed; “Told you, “He said with a small smile playing on his lips. He put her on her legs as she let go of his arm that she was holding the entire time.
“I trust you,” She said with a smile but Tyler’s smile vanished the second she said that because he knew as soon as she will start the ritual from the forbidden book; the truth will be out.
“What happened Tyler? Why do you look pale to me all of a sudden, “She asked worried about him.
“You trust me?” He just wanted to confirm because he was about to break it to her.
“Open page 77, read the verse, and stand in front of the moon, your hand in the air as you say the words, “She looked at Tyler but she did not start reading.
“How do you know this, Tyler? “She asked, she wanted—no she needed the answers now.
“How do you know so much about resistance stone?” She asked the first question as she looked at him. He stayed silent.
“How do you know how to get it from the vampire king? “She shot her second question at him as he diverted his eyes.
“How do you know on what page the verse is written? How?” She asked but he did not have the courage to answer any of them.
“Tyler, “She whispered his name, she was way too conflicted and filled with questions to draw any conclusion to the information available to her.
“You said you trust me, trust me one last time,” he said as he looked at her; her eyes held conflicts and questions she badly needed answers to.
This was getting so fucking complicated.
“This is not about trust ty—“
She was about to ask him but he cut her words off, “This is exactly about trust Zia, my love, just read the verse 3 times,” He said as she opened the book in front of her; walking into the light of the moon, she looked at it before she glanced at her love once again.
Reaching page 77, she started reading the verse as her hand was lifted in the air.

Tyler dropped to his knees as she felt the resistance stone ripped out of his chest. Zia glanced at him as the book dropped from her hands.
