Space Pub
Bahm’s P.O.V
After the night Kris checked in on the Dark Witch named Hunnie, when morning came he told me he was going to be staying with his mother pretty soon, once she came back from staying in the temple.
He expressed how he needed to spend time with her, but I knew deep down it was because he didn't want to be around me anymore.
I might've been too harsh on him that night, but I was only trying to also hide the fact I had already been to her place, plus had close contact with her. I also didn’t want to admit my utmost curiosity about that woman to anyone.
Something inside of me didn't want Kris to leave my side either. We were barely saying much to each other, as I didn’t even know what to say to him anymore, he couldn't stand my presence, though he pretended like he could.
“Hey,
I'll be playing ball with my friends tonight.
Don't stay up for me." He says when I came through the door from The Academy.
"Do you want come?" He forces himself to ask. His persona has been different towards me, and it made me feel like shit lately. Almost feeling sorry that I wasn’t the man he remembered.
"No, it's fine.
Go have fun."
He nods and proceeds out the door.
He hadn't been back at the academy, only to pick us up sometimes when I didn't want to use my abilities. I did however, avoided Hunnie by all means. She too came back, attending some of Lydia's classes, but we both never stuck around. I dreaded the thought of her pinpointing me to her suicide attempt.
How would I explain to both her, and Kris that I saved her that night and kept it a secret?
I was betraying Kris, actually I had betrayed him and guilt flooded my soul as well...
Today, I was home alone, waiting for Lydia's return from some store for Siren's in Witchy World. I began dozing off, recollecting my memories of the last moment I happened to be near Hunnie.
Her name suited her, because she did have features like honey.
Glowing, flawless skin,
Delicious scent,
Even her skin toned was warm like honey.
"When can we touch her again!
Again!
Again!
Again!!"
Rix whines like a lewd little bastard through my thoughts and I quickly push him to the back of my mind again. What is his problem! For heavens sake, It was only one time!
He sighs, just as I do.
I woke shortly with my hands wrapped around an erection I managed to form in my sleep. What the hell is wrong with me. No woman could ever make me dream a sweet, sticky and desirous dream!
Something is wrong with me. Things aren’t adding up!
"Anyone home?
Bahm?”
Lydia calls out from downstairs. I tucked my member back into my trousers and made my way down to her.
"Yeah!
I'm here!" I yelled, throwing my shirt over my head.
"Who, is that Kris?
Oh wait, I just saw him at the pub." She say so quickly as though she was talking to herself.
"No it's me, you can't tell our vice apart?...
And, he said he was going to play ball with the guys."
"Oh..."
She says weary and it it was the first time I could sense hesitation from her.
"What is it?” whilst walking down the stairs with hands in my pocket, I asked demandingly. She eyes me down to my groin and back up to my face with a sly smile on hers.
"Well...
SPIT IT OUT!
I don't like being deceived!" I hissed.
"N-No.
It's just that...I ...
I...
Saw him going into that one cloaked building...that hide and go?
I think that’s what it’s called."
"The hide and what?" Tilting my head to the side, I really searched her demeanor to see if she was playing games with me.
Why would Kris lie to me?
Why was he in a cloaked building?
Nothing she was saying, made sense to me.
I scrutinized her face as she takes steps closer to me.
"The hide and go pub is the name. Ummm......That one building that is cloaked. Beings go there to talk freely without any superior beings listening in on them. I actually think its a new thing the witches created this year."
The hairs on my arms grew rapidly. I had no idea what pub she was yapping about, but I wanted to know more about this cloaked building made by witches.
"You need to explain more.. Why would Kris be at this magical cloaking pub, when he told me he was going to play ball with his friends?" When I said it out loud, it actually made me furious.
"Uhm...well....maybe--"
"Maybe WHAT?"
"Don't be upset at me. I didn't mean to--"
"I'm not..." I mumble, closing my eyes to see if I could see though Kris's vision on his whereabouts.
A green drink appears in my view, along with what I take was his hands cupping the glass, but then everything goes pitch dark.
I couldn't even pick up on his scent anymore, nor my own heart beat now that I thought about it!
Just how long has he been doing this, knowing damn well I always gave him his space, and never violated his mind without permission!
How dare he enters into a building where not even my sense could reach, with MY HEART!
"KRIS!" I speak out in our link furiously.
"Uhhh...yes?"” A sheepishly answer comes.
"You...you alright?
Where are you?"
"Yeah, I'm fine. Can't talk right now though, dribbling the ball."
He quickly says and the link goes quiet.
He was most definitely not where he was saying he was and I didn't like this one bit. I really wanted to trust him, but I could barely even trust myself lately these day, and it was all his fault!
"Show me this place!"
Lydia nods right away and using my abilities, I enter her thoughts, teleporting us to the pub she just showed me in her memory.
We arrived in front of a brewery made for the giants, the cold Witchy World wind stinging my face and the fast movements of transportations speeding by in the middle of the busy streets.
"It's that one!" Lydia points to an octagon shaped building with enormously tall and tinted windows lining the front. It was just across the street, the one filled with different shaped cars and horses, along with witches and wizards flying about, that we needed to walk across.
No noise, nor chatter was coming from inside that building. It was completely unreachable to my hearing and senses. Just what is this building and who created such blasphemy!
"All the other cloaked and sealed buildings look like this." Lydia sates, explaining how to tell them apart in the world.
"What could Kris possibly be doing in a building like this?”
“Maybe he’s hiding something from us, or...speaking with someone he know’s we don’t fancy.”
"What is it that he possibly doesn't want me to know?”
Aldrerix and I go back and fourth, but in the end, he tells me I should just give Kris his space and disappears behind the back of my mind.
"What could he be doing in there?
Do you know?
Did he say anything to you?" I asked viciously, snarling at Lydia and pulling her by her arm as we step foot off the curb.
“No. He doesn’t talk to me at all, but if I had to guess, it’s probably about that Witch you guys spoke of.” A growl of frustration escapes my throat and Lydia grips onto my arms to calm me.
Dodging the high speed traffic, I threw up my hands to stop them all in their tracks so Lydia and I could make our way across. After carefully getting across, I waved my hands and the traffic went back to normal.
“WOW!
That was cool too!” Lydia giddies.
We made it to the front steel doors of the building, and using Aldrerix's visions I tried to look through the wall incase he could sense the body heat, but nothing.
We went back to the house after I grew anxious and upset.
Give him space?
HAH!
He will get some space alright.
Staying up well passed midnight, I waited for Kris to return.
We had some talking to do and about how weak he had turn into since I first came back from hell.
