It Speaks

Hunnie Inzotta

"Oh oh!

One more picture...

Come on Kris!

SIT UP!"

"Just hurry...and take...the damn picture Lenah!

Some of us are drunk!"

The whole remaining crowd after clean up erupted in laughter as Gabe and Kris' friend Junior, positioned Kris back into a sitting position when he slouched over.

He was very much intoxicated, but the happiness on his faced shined brightly throughout the room more than anybody.

My child and I was very blessed to have two mates and two fathers in our lives. With my Dark blood and half of his father's Demonic Wolf, and Dark Fei blood, my son will be superb in the magical world. My only hope was that he grows up in a safe world that loved him.

"Cheeeeesseeee!"

Lenah and my adoptive mother continued taking pictures of Kris and I, capturing our smiles and celebrations, our hugs and kisses.

Not many people here knew I had two mates, like my mother and some of my human friends, but my girl friends knew as well as some of Kris' pretty fancy friends. All his executive high rolling friends brought more than one gift for our son, wrapped in sparkling, shimmery paper and tied with elegant strings and bows. I only opened the big gifts, leaving the small ones to open back in the garage. I wasn't quite sure all of these would even fit inside.

I always forgot Kris was a music producer and DJ, and not the young bad boy we went to human school with. The venue he picked out was anything beyond the possible budget I would have picked if I planned this on my own. By looking at him you wouldn't assume this, since he had that bad boy style of dressing still, but everyone around him loved him, as if he was King.

"Thank you all for coming again.

I'll see you soon!"

I waved the rest of the remaining guest goodbye, including my mother and brothers as Kris and I stayed behind with Gabe and the cleaning crew. Once it was safe to leave, Gabe and a few hidden guards Kris hired for the baby shower, helped up into a limo before seating inside themselves.

"They're gunna helwp...us with gifts."

Kris slurs on my shoulder. I gripped onto him tightly, making sure he doesn't go sliding all over the place. The dress I wore was huge and puffy, almost resembling a traditional Korean Hanbok dress. My bum had a maroon silk wrap, hugging my baby and tied in the back with a bow.

Multiple black cars followed behind us all the way to the garage, with familiar faces from the party emptying out the gifts their vehicles held. One of them was Gabi, Gabe's half Succubus, hall shape shifter sister.

"Got the rest?

Or do you need help undressing him?" Gabe says.

"No.

I think I got it. I'm going to let him get some sleep"

Pointing over my shoulder to Kris fully dressed on the bed, knocked out and snoring loudly, Gabe nods and all the vehicles in the drive way all scatter after he enters his car.

The light's flickered off. There was a small back room of the garage lighting my way as I walked over to the room Kris turned into a huge walking closet, one near the bathroom and peeled off my clothing.

As I began pulling a spaghetti strapped gown over my head, my heart began accelerating rapidly all of a sudden. An overwhelming surge of Dark Energy was ready to release from the tips of my fingertips. I sat down on the bench in the middle, hunched over and trying to soothe control over the abrupt and hasty rush of Darkness.

I was scared. Why is this happening so unexpectedly?

It was certainly too much negative energy flowing through my body, and I haven't felt this way since I was my early teens!

The magical surge didn't feel like it was my own's, but more from inside me.

This must be my child. Who would've thought his dark abilities would be so strong while only in the womb. It made me nervous.

"Your mahhh....magic?

Put it in the neck-necklace...like that one." Kris comes slurring and hiccuping into the closet while loosening his tie and leaning against the wall.

"Is it blessed?" I said agitatedly, affected by The Darkness.

Blessed Dark magic is more suitable to control, and even more manipulatable when I bless the bad energy from my soul on my own. With a price of course, bringing much fatigue to my soul.

"Blessed?

Yes!"

He blurts, tossing his blazer and t-shirt on the ground. That angered me truly!

He knows where the washer is, why throw it on the ground!

Transferring some of the negative and angry magic into the necklace with a spell, I kept some so my body could get used to controlling and manipulating the energy. It was a slight relief, one I needed to sleep off as both Kris and I slammed our bodies into the bed. The sun was already rising, and I know I'll be so tired tomorrow.

Bahm's P.O.V

"What....

WHAT THE BLASPHEMY IS GOING ON HERE!

I HAVE COMPANY!!"

My breathing was heavy, and I struggled to remain control over my body. My mother barges into the room with her men behind her, as if I posed some kind of threat to them.

"I TOLD YOU" Roaring menacingly and exhaustedly, I huffed and puffed.

"I'M FINE!

I'M GOING THROUGH SOMETHING!

LET ME BE!!!"

"JUST LEAVE THE ROOM!

LEAVE THE CASTLE....SOMETHING!!!" She screeches before I glance over my shoulder to see her exit through my doors.

Every time I think I've placed a sound proof spell over my chambers, it suddenly goes down when my mind becomes overwhelmed by the voices. I rather refrain my mind from listening to those dirty words. Words and sentences I won't bare to listen nor repeat.

"Bahm...

Mother is so worried.

You're scaring her--"

"THAT'S ALL YOU ALL EVER HAVE TO SAY!

LEAVE ME AND MIND YOUR BUSINESSES IF YOU ALL ARE SO SCARED!!" I hear the door shut behind me before a soft distressing sigh leaves Nyku's mouth after she too barges in right after mother leaves.

Why can't I ever have just one moment of peace?

I'd die for some peace and quiet.

They don't have to keep interrupting me every time they heard a growl or an argument within myself. They're only fueling more into the anger!

With my head a little quieter than before, I took to my bed, laying under the covers.

I hoped Kris never felt any of this, he would be so shocked and afraid as to why so much anger was being channeled throughout my body. That was one thing I couldn't do, expose him to what I was hiding from him.

"I warned you about this."

Aldrerix says as we drift off to sleep.

"I warned you not to do this.

You've already lost me, now you're going to lose yourself."

"IT PROMISED!" I hissed deeply.

"WHY WOULD YOU BELI--

...

Why would you believe it's words??"

This was all under my control. It wouldn't consume my darkness when there was nothing left to swallow. I'm a changed and more understandable being now. Nothing will anger me, nor trigger me to lose control, giving it what it wants.

"I've got this Rix, I promise.

Nothing will make me snap.

There is nothing."

"Oh yes there is..."

...

...

...

My eyes shoot open widely.

It never speaks to me in my sleep!

Why has it infiltrated this connection with Rix and I!

"I've already informed you....

Young Demon King, that I...

Know a secret.” It laughs demonically.

"SILENCE!

THERE IS NO SECRET!" I replied to it, hissing deadly as I was done entertaining it's games.

I've come too far to let some old demon think it has a chance of taking over my body.

All the other ones I absorbed at my first go around to escape Hell, tried to possess me and failed. How will one who's never left it's post, think it'll have anything power over me? I'm also a Demon, one with dark abilities that can over power any Demon!
