A New Bahm

Bahm's P.O.V

"Do you know where his mother is living now?

Let's go right now!"

Hunnie becomes frantic, sliding  away from the computer desk and grabbing my arms.

Sensing how distraught she was about all of this, made me feel uneasy, must be the work of the bond. I could feel all of her, ten fold.

"No baby, I never even met his moth--"

"YES YOU DID!" She yells suddenly, and I twist my eyebrows in return.

"YOU MET HIM, WHEN HE WAS 7!....

I JUST DON'T KNOW...where she's living anymore!"

She begins falling to the floor, breaking down as I catch her in my arms, lifting her to her feet. teleporting us back outside, all of a sudden she stops crying, looking up at me with her hazel glossy eyes.

.

"I'm sorry Hunnie, I don't know...

Maybe she is till living wherever you reme--"

"OH!

OH!

You see this neighbor hood," Her eyes closes as I assume she wants me to look into her thoughts.

"Teleport us please!"

Saying no to my mate, was becoming harder and harder, so I obeyed her request, feeling the tension within our bond.

"If she's still in the same house...it should be this way."

Hunnie mumbles after we teleport to the destination, then she grabs a hold of my hand, dragging me along the sidewalk.

Dreading to see Kris again, he didn't mean anything to me anymore, he never did...I should have known when I returned I couldn't trust anyone, but myself.

"It's this one!

Do you smell him?"

"Uhh...I'm not sure."

"Come on, let's hurry!" Hunnie sucks her teeth in annoyance.

We march right up to the front doors of a large blue suburban house. A scent of a human woman floods my nostrils from inside.

"MRS. TANG???

IT'S HUNNIE!

Sorry it's late!"

My bold and courageous mate bangs on the door, disregarding how late it was now.

"Mrs. Tang?"

Moving from inside peaks my ears and  the door knobs turns, opening the door just enough to see a very terrified brown eyed woman. She was oriental, just like my fathers side. Her face sends  an uncomfortable feeling deep down, this is Kris' mother?

She glares at me first, long and hard, not able to remove her yes off of me.

"Mrs...Tang...

It's me, Hunnie Inzotta. Kris' best friend from school.

Do you remember me?"

The woman finally looks way, pulling the door more ajar, but then she glares at me again.

"Hunnie?"

"Yes!

I'm just looking for Kris, is he here?"

Kris' mom points to her side, indicating he was somewhere to the back of the house.

"Garage"

"Thank you. It was nice seeing you, sorry for coming so late." The woman suddenly bows her head quickly and closes the door.

Hunnie grabs my hands again, cupping her bottom stomach and rushes down the porch steps.

"KRIS?" She begins yelling out.

"Hunnie it's late!" Hissing at her, she turns, shooting me an angered glare.

I noticed little droplets of blood all around the driveway, leading behind the house, 5and just as we turn to the back, a small garage detached from the house comes into view.

"He's here..." An unpleasant groan slips from my mouth after my senses picked up the sound of his breathing.

Hunnie makes a run for it, throwing my hand and jogging over the grass up to the doors. "WAIT!" I jerked her hand using my Demon-Wolf speed, catching her body as she flies backwards.

"What is it?"

She shrieks, noticing the muscles in my face protruding and my fangs elongating.

"There's something dangerous around this!"

"Like what?"

A growls emits from my throat once the scent of a powerful Dark spell hovered over the garage, one even moe powerful than Hunnie's earlier.

"A SPELL!!!

I CAN'T ENTER!" Another growl escaped me menacingly.

"Bu-But... Is he in there though?"

Sniffing the air and looking at the door knob full of blood belonging to Kris, I shake my head yes, snapping out of my feral state. His breathing could barely be heard, but with my ears, it was very loud.

"KRIS!" Hunnie yells, marching up to the door, I go to yank her away and surprisingly, she quickly shoves me.

"You can't go in there Hunnie.

 I don't understand this spell!"

"I'm not a demon, it won't hurt me!" She hollers back.

"No Hunnie!

my blood is in you, we just mated!"She begins to throws up her Dark barrier around her, fueling more into my anger.

"I will be protected with this!

I have to check if he's okay!

UNLOCK!" She waves her hand by the door knob , finally noticing blood.

Taking steps away from the garage once she enters, my body was already reacting to the spell, the strong magnetic pull to absorb my magic.

"Kris!

Are you in here?" She disappeared out of my view, even her scent disappears.

Just what is this?

Another cloaked and powerful ruling for Kris to hide in?

WHO THE HELL CREATED THIS SPELL!

Hunnie's P.O.V

"Kris?

Are you in here?"

Taking steps into the dark garage, I summoned a light to brighten the place around me. About half way in, the strong metallic scent of blood fills my nose, upsetting my stomach again.

The light shines in my light and moving it to the side where I thought whispers came, a blood curdling, dreadful scream, explodes from my chest.

"KRIS!!!!"

"What is it Hunnie!

GET OUT OF THERE!" Bahm shouts from outside. H was standing in view of the doos, but in the middle of th back yard.

"OH  MY GOOODDD!

KRIS!"

I panic, flipping all the lights in the garage on with magic and lowering my barrier.

Covering my mouth from the awful and startling scene, a very deformed Kris laid on a sofa with a blanket covering his chest down. There was many blood soaked napkins on a table next to his side along with medical scissors and empty syringes.

"Kris?

Are you alive?" My hands brush his sticky wet hair and through his two swollen eyes, one jerks open.

"Kris you need to be healed, you look...."

A raspy sound leaves his throat before he groans, "Noooo!"

My heart broke seeing him in such horrifying and vulnerable state. His breathing was alll over the place now, he had two swollen shut eyes, and big bloody bruises all over his face and neck.

Slowly, I pull the covers down, exposing a big gash wound to his chest, slowly oozing out blood. Nausea fills me again, my stomach couldn't handle the sight before me. A sob leaves me, "Please God....I have to save him."

Reacting quickly, I pick up the medical scissors, slicing my palms over the injury to his chest.

"Hunnie!

What are you doing!!"

Bahm shouts, but I ignore him, hoping the smallest trace of his blood within me, would heal the gashing hole.

"Sssttopppp," comes a small whisper from Kris.

He moves his fingers slowly, wincing in pain.

The hole stopped leaking blood and seemed smaller, but it was still there.

"Bahm!

I need your help!

Can you teleport alcohol and towels?"

Taking a peek by the front door, he just stands with his hands on his hips. He wore an angered expression and I couldn't believe he thought he had any right to be upset after what he did to Kris!

He huffs, continuing to pace outside.

"BAHM PLEASE!

HE'S DYING!"

Suddenly on the table by the sofa, a bunch of towels falls off and lands on the ground as well as a full bottle of liquor.

"Not drinking alcohol!"

“ I shout, retrieving the towels and folding them quickly.

"WHERE THE FUCK,

DO I FIND...

 ALCHOL!!!!

YOU CANT DRINK!!!!" Bahm roars loudly, startling even Kris as his body jerks upwards. It alarmed me, that I went back into his view of the door.

"MY house! Teleport me there...PLEASE!" Before I could even finish speaking, we were already at my house, with Bahm hovering over me. Ignoring his presence, I moved quick, grabbing  all my medical supplies from the living room closet.

Rubbing alcohol, catheters, stitching kit, arm slings, bandages, and an oxygen tank, Bahm grunts, "Why do you have all of this in your house!"

"Before you, I went to school for nursing, it's what I did." Facing Bahm with deep blank expression, my arms and hands full, I motioned for him to teleport us back to the garage.

I arrive in the same spot next to Kris as everything falls to the ground. Attending to his neck first, he cried out when I wrap a brace around him.

"Don't...touch...me!" His voice shakes in so much fear and hysteria.

"Kris, I'm going to fix this!"

"Nooo! GOOOO!"

Tears stream down his face as he tries to move his arms. My own vision becomes blurry too, hoping I could indeed keep him alive.

He whimpers, blowing snot bubbles when I fix his posture and put the folded towels under his head and feet while also covering the wound in his rib cage. Immediately after, I grabbed a towel, drenching it in alcohol before dabbing it to the hole in his chest. Watching his jaws clench down in pain,  followed by a burst of crying, I only tell him, "I'm sorry Kris...I really am, but I'm trying to help. It's the least I can do."

Rolling a towel thin enough to shove into his mouth, he was so weak there was no fighting as I shoved it under his teeth, so I could pour the alcohol into the wound, preventing infection. His whole body tenses in pain, his feet and even. The sight was so traumatizing, I barely could recognize him...

After placing the oxygen mask over his nose and elevating his feet and arms, I give him a kiss on his forehead, followed by a shot of morphine to help him sleep, and setting up his catheter, I assured him I'd be back shortly to check on him.

He was quiet the whole time, only small whimpers leaving through his nose, I understand he was upset and scared, for I'd shield myself away in here too.

"I'll be back in the morning. I gave you a shot of morphine, please get some sleep."
