"Who killed you?" I asked Hunnie, who seemed to be in a lost state and very agitated.

We managed to bring her upstairs into the halls, where many soldiers awaited in confusion. Leolo must've told them something because they were ready to capture her.





"BAHM!



HE KILLED ME!"



Her fangs come out again, and her eyes turn black.

This shouldn't be happening! My heart raced with the feeling this wasn't Hunnie anymore.







"Wh-What? What do you mean?

Why were you down there, Hunnie?

Where did he go?

WHAT DID DHE DO?"





"I DON'T KNOW, BUT IM GOING TO KILL HIM!!"

She begins seething after roaring and looking around the hall, hissing at the soldiers. She's acting like a vampire or something. Just why in the Hell is she hissing?





As though I'd just woken up from a confusing, horrid dream, I shook my head and grabbed her by her shoulders.



"Tell me exactly what happened."





"I TOLD YOU THAT M0THERFUCKER KILLED ME!"

Her mouth opened to my wrist as I held her shoulders when Leolo came behind, restricting her in a bear hug.







"WHY DO YOU KEEP ATTACKING ME, HUNNIE?

WHAT'S WRONG!!!" Now I was growing agitated myself!







"BECAUSE YOU SMELL LIKE HIM!"





"OH HEAVENS!" Leolo says with wide eyes.





"What?

What!"





"She died...

With his blood in her system..."





"Yeah...and what?"





"Shes...She's a hybrid, like him!!!" Leolo said horrifyingly just as Hunnie became free and ran down the hall at such an incredible speed I wasn't even sure I could catch up!





"HUNNIE!!!!"





We all ran in her direction, and everything became clear.

She smells like a hybrid, precisely a combination of what?



Demon,

Wolf,

Or Fei?

Heavens, please don't make it all!





I struggled to keep up with the vampire soldiers, so I shifted slightly, healing all my wounds caused by Hunnie, and zooming through the halls. Gosh, I hoped their child would be okay! Even if this wasn't considered my child anymore, They were still my number one priority.





All the men stop running near the Dining Hall, causing me to charge straight into a wall head-on. When I came out of the debris, Hunnie was surrounded by the men, pointing her nose in the air and sniffing with growing fangs. Fangs even longer than mine!





"Hunnie!" I shout, pushing past the men, and she charges me before I blink. This time my arm moves up to shield me, and right into her mouth.





"What are you doing!"





"You aren't...HIM!"

She yells and continues to run at full supernatural speed.





She led us out of the halls and into the main corridor, where maids flew in the air as they came in contact with her fury.







"YOU MOUTHERFUCKERRRR!!!!

HOW DARE YOU!!!!!

YOU'LL DIE BY MY HANDS!!"

Leolo and I look at each other as we hear Hunnie screaming ahead of us. She was distraught as she went head-on into her mission.



We ran out of the castle and into the jungle surrounding the premises.





"YOU TOUCH ME!!!!

ME!!!

WHO WAS IT?

THE DEMON OR YOU, YOU BASTARD!!"





Hunnie continues roaring before she stops in the middle of dense trees, and we all surround her as we see her poaching up against a tree, holding her lower stomach, and panting.





Without hesitation, I ran up to her, patting her back while she caught her breath. I could hear her heart beating incredibly fast, along with the one in her stomach. She seemed to be returning to her usual self and allowed me to hold her in my arms.







"Hunnie, you have to stop running.

This isn't good for you. You're pregnant."







"But...B-But, Kris.

He's close by." She's left short-winded and places her hands on my shoulders.





"Who?

Bahm?"







She doesn't respond, but her eyes turn onyx.

"Kris...I am hungry. Please let me feed off of you." My eyebrows twist at her request.





"NO!

Feed off of me!"

Leolo yells, stepping up to us while he rolls his sleeves up, and I feel the warmth of her body leaving my hands.



A gust of wind causes me to blink rapidly, and as I look back over my shoulder, Hunnie has already zoomed up to Leolo, taking the arm he has to offer and feeding off it. After a while, It brought him down to his knees, and the color of his skin faded incredibly quickly. It scared me!





"I am stronger, Kris." A strained groan leaves Leolo.





"Okay, Hunnie, enough.

Enough!"





Hunnie released Leolo's arm, leaving him a substantial bloody bite mark that healed before our eyes, and she let out a howling pained holler.

Bahm's P.O.V





Goosebumps coated my skin, for The Gatekeeper hadn't realized yet.



My mate has awoken according to my plan. I could feel my blood lingering inside her body much more than when I marked her for the first time.





I set a plan in motion, hoping everyone else in my castle would follow along and do their job.



"I'll devour all the supernatural in your Kingdom and visit The Humans. None of them stand a chance with me in this body. Thank you, naive half Demon."



I ignored his words, sitting quietly and paying attention to my other abilities he seemed to lose control over after Hunnie placed that barrier around us. Not only did it drain all of its energy, but it appeared to stunt its focus. It just wanted to continue feeding after having been in Hell for millions.





Deep down, I think it was afraid of Hunnie, which is why it was beyond ecstatic when he thought I killed her. I did kill her in hopes that when I took control of Kri's body earlier and harmed her, my people would've given her my blood that we have all over the castle, healing her.





The Demon ran through the jungle, feeding on any animals. My stomach felt full, and I wasn't sure why he couldn't regard this either. We just stopped by an ocean shore a few miles away from a harboring Human village mixed with many other supernaturals.





It takes a step inside the harsh cold waters of the ocean, splashing water into its mouth and even taking a dive in.



"MATE!"



I look around the darkness in my soul as I thought I heard Alredreix speak.



"RIX?" I called out, but it stayed silent.



"Rix.

Are you still in her-



-"SHE COMES!"





Just then, my mate's scent floods our noses as Rix yells out from somewhere deep inside again. The Gatekeeper looks up to the sky, hissing in anger.





"WHAT IS SHE DOING ALIVE!" He bellows, exposing my claws



"They dare follow!"



I jump to my senses, hearts beating, and the sound of fast feet running through the jungle is heard before we see a few beings jump up and over trees, landing a few yards away.



They've come!



I found my mate amongst them; she smelled of fury and even had sharp canine teeth that elongated over her bottom jaw.

Wait...

Is she here to fight?



"I see what you've done. Should have kept her dead, half Demon!" The Gatekeeper smiles in their direction, beginning to shift into his form when Hunnie suddenly jumps up at an incredible height.



"What the-



Where did she go!"





It faces all the soldiers, then eyes over Kris, looking at the place in his chest where my heart lies!

He can't have that!





"BASSSSTARRRDDD!!!!"

That was all we heard before the wind knocked us out, landing us hard on our back before everything went dark.

The Gatekeeper opens his eyes quickly. Legs wrapped around our necks, and hard flesh pushed against our faces. NO Hunnie! You can't fight him!





We both shivered when we realized it was Hunnie. She immediately began scratching my face like she was digging for gold, so The Gatekeeper was caught off guard.





"WENCH!" He yells loudly and turns his head to nibble on her inner thigh before she flies off. Holy shit!! I didn't expect her to be this quick and intense!



She also bore a strength from one of my men.



Leolo!



YES!





"BAHM!

I know you can hear me!"





"Hunnie, stop!

That's not him." Kris yells. Just then, many soldiers lined the outskirts of the shore, drawing swords and fangs.





The smell of my mate's blood floods our nostrils, and Through the Gatekeeper's eyes, we see that he'd managed to gaze at her thighs with his teeth.



Worry and fear coursed through my veins, feeding The Demon with energy that he charged straight toward Kris.
