Bewitched

The car suddenly stopped, even though Lucien didn't stop it at all. Beside him, Sofia looked at him tenderly, then touched his face with her hand.

"Sofia, what the-"

Before Lucien finished speaking, Sofia immediately kissed Lucien's lips. She uses the power she has to undermine a man's faith and tempts them with her beauty. It seems that no one can resist her charms.

Lucien was lost in a strange fantasy when Sofia kissed his lips, when his eyes opened and the kiss stopped, Lucien realized that he had just been bewitched and it was clear this was not his wish.

"You know this is the strength of a vixen, any man even a wolf like you wouldn't be able to resist it!" She said softly. Sofia defended Lucien's lips which were wet from her kiss.

Lucien felt something rise in his heart and he knew it was all because of Sofia's magic. Lucien returned Sofia's kiss aggressively, holding her tightly as if he would never let go. Sofia was surprised because Lucien shouldn't be bewitched and what he said just now was a lie. As a fellow demi-demon, special magic like this would have no effect. But Lucien still kissed her and Sofia felt a little surprised and confused.

Past memories of the two of them surfaced in her mind. How had she fallen so deeply in love with Lucien and was willing to do anything to be with him even though her parents opposed her wish because they felt that it was Lucien who had a bad influence on her.

Lucien broke the kiss, his amber eyes piercing into Sofia's soul. Sofia was stunned, unblinking. Not Lucien, but herself who was under Lucien's magic. She fell asleep, the charm that captivated her eyes, she could not escape.

"Lucien? I-"

"You promised to help me, right?

"Y-yes,"

"Then from now on, become my follower. Do whatever I say!"

"Sure, I'll do whatever you want!"

Sofia smiled happily, she lost control of her mind and all of this because of Lucien. She knew something was wrong inside of her and this made her unable to understand what was really happening to her.

As the effect of the magic slowly wore off, Sofia felt a little irritated. She didn't realize that she was the one who had been trapped when she wanted to trap Lucien with her magic which always managed to attract men.

Lucien smiled a little, then returned to driving his car without saying anything. Sofia tried to digest what had just happened.

"I didn't know you could influence someone that way!" Sofia chirps. The gun she was firing turned back at her.

"I didn't know I could do that either! I feel you are so beautiful tonight and I thought it wouldn't hurt if I kissed you!"

"Tsk, you're really annoying! Whatever I said to you earlier, it won't do anything, you understand?"

"Yes, I understand!" Lucien chuckled as if he was mocking Sofia who became uncomfortable. His laughter made Sofia feel even more irritated, but also happy at the same time.

She couldn't hide her smile, she was so tempted by Lucien's wolf gaze that was so alluring. Her heart pounded, as if there were feelings that shouldn't grow in demons like them.

"Lucien!"

"Hmm?"

"What is your plan?"

"My plan?"

"Yeah, I'm sure that after meeting Victor and Ruby, you started planning something."

"Yeah, I've got something planned!"

"Really? May I know?"

"As long as I can use you, I will tell you!"

"What do you mean by using me?"

"I want to use you as much as I can!" He said frankly. Sofia was surprised that Lucien had been so blunt about his intentions.

Even though she felt angry, but for some reason she couldn't refuse let alone refute. That made her even more believe that Lucien had special magic that he could use on fellow half-demon like them.

"You want to use me just like when we were both alive, is that it?"

"Yes!"

"I remember when I was just a simple girl who secretly admired jerk boys like you. You were crazy about a lot of women and that made me try to change myself, from an innocent home girl to a naughty and wild girl. I always tried to adjust to you, but you accept my feelings only because you want me to help you whenever the police want to catch you in that wild race that you and your friends always do."

"Your dad is an inspector and he loves his daughter too much to do anything you want, including stop targeting me."

"You are such a bastard, Lucien!"

Jonathan still couldn't stop screaming in annoyance even though Sebastian, Richard and Harry didn't say anything about his loss to Lucien. They were a little surprised because Jonathan could be easily defeated by Lucien. However, remembering who Lucien was during his lifetime to earn the nickname the ace, they could understand.

"Come on, Jo! Forget it! It doesn't hurt if you lose once in a while, right?" Sebastian said, trying to calm Jonathan's explosive tantrum.

He knew Jonathan very well and how he could never accept defeat. Jonathan always felt that he was the greatest in his field until he forgot that one of his group members was a gambling legend.

"Nothing wrong you say? That bastard humiliated me in front of a lot of people and you say there's nothing wrong with that? Victor was so mad I'm sure he'll never use me again-"

"That is for sure!" Harry squeaked. He tried to hold back his laughter seeing how Jonathan felt humiliated.

Jonathan glared at him, giving him a vicious look as if he was going to kill him. Harry shifted his gaze elsewhere, trying not to meet Jonathan's eyes directly.

Jonathan now knew who he would take his anger out on. He walked over to Harry and stood right in front of him. For a minute, Jonathan stood in front of Harry and stared at him without blinking. Harry started to shudder in horror, he knew that Jonathan was really angry now.

"Come on, Jo! I ​​was just kidding-"

"Kidding? You bastard, I know you're laughing at me!" Enraged, Jonathan gripped Harry's neck tightly.

"Jo, come on! There's no point in throwing tantrums like this. Where's Lucien? Where'd he go?" Sebastian asked. He didn't understand why Lucien always just left without waiting for them first.

"To hell with that bastard! I don't care where he is. Acting cool like that, even though I could tell he was trying to hide his anger when he saw Victor's and his wife's faces. Tsk, how pathetic, hahaha..." The previous Jonathan enraged, starts laughing out loud as he remembers how Lucien was when he reunited with the people who betrayed him.

"I didn't know that something like that was funny for you. You see someone who is in the same boat as you, having to be reunited with someone who killed and destroyed his life and even stole his wife. I didn't know you could still laugh and enjoy that scene until you forgot that you were also has a fate that is not much different from Lucien."
