Demon Power

Sephie felt annoyed because suddenly Lucien seemed to agree with Jayden's decision, even though after thinking about it maybe what Jayden was doing was right, but still she didn't like it when Lucien sided with Jayden.

"Okay, then what now? Do I have to get you out of here before we get any information?" Sephie asked annoyed. Now she just wanted to do what Lucien wanted more.

"I'll stay here, we've already arrived and if we suddenly leave, someone might know where we are and suspect us."

"Okay, I understand! We'll be here for a bit and-"

"Hah?"

Braaakkk...

A car that was right beside their car immediately bounced far ahead. Lucien and Sephie were shocked, they could feel a strange demonic power near them.

Sephie immediately drove her car, went far in this parking area. She knew someone had noticed them and tried to attack.

"Damn it, they noticed us too soon!" She growled in annoyance. Occasionally she looked in the rearview mirror, where the shadow of a black jeep darted quickly following them.

Lucien tried to stay calm even though his emotions were provoked by the sudden attack their enemy had carried out. He didn't know that the first challenge that should only apply at the gambling table turned out to be a physical attack like this.

Lucien looked back, he could see several men wearing dark glasses with grim faces in the car. Their faces looked scary and seemed familiar to him.

"They?" Lucien's mind immediately went to the day he died. The day he was followed by four men who brutally tortured and killed him.

"No! It's not necessarily them!" He thought. His body was shaking. One by one the horrific scenes he experienced that day began to haunt his mind, making him unable to focus.

Sephie, who realized there was something strange about Lucien, tried to wake him up before the enemies could attack them.

"Lucien...! What are you doing? Are you okay? Lucien...!"

"Hah? What?"

Lucien flinched, his heart beating really fast, his adrenaline rushing to do something crazy. The blood flowing in his body was extremely hot, making him feel as if he was burning.

The veins under his skin were sticking out, he felt a great power coming out of his body and he couldn't control it. Seeing the color of his eyes turning dark, Sephie knew big trouble was coming.

"Oh shit! Lucien wake up! Control your power! Don't let that demon control you-"

Braaakkk...

Lucien immediately stopped the car they were riding in and he quickly jumped out. The thought of how he had been killed made his anger soar.

He did not really know who the people who were in the car. But his strong instincts told him that they were enemies he had to eliminate.

"Tsk, Lucien,huh?"

A bald man with a familiar face made Lucien's eyes widen. The smiling man grinned, like a bloodthirsty monster ready to pounce on him. Lucien's fists clenched, he felt his emotions flowing to the tips of his fingers. All the memories of the horrific events made him ready to go berserk.

Braaakkk...

Lucien immediately attacked the man brutally, trying to pounce on him like an alpha wolf trying to protect its territory from enemies. The man quickly dodged, the three colleagues who were originally in the car immediately got out and offered resistance.

Seeing the face of the enemy they were fighting filled them with shock, he still clearly remembered who this young man like the immense power they were facing was.

"Lucien?"

"Tch, no way-"

"Aaargh..."

Lucien rages and growls, again performs attacks that are too fast to make it difficult for them to dodge. Two of them managed to get hit by Lucien's attack which almost transformed into a wolf form.

They both bounced until their backs hit the car and the car was also bounced away.

"Ugh..."

Seeing his two comrades getting hit, the bald man and co tried to counter Lucien's attack. Sephie, who witnessed the fight, was speechless. She saw black smoke forming wings on Lucien's back. It was so clear that it stunned her. She knew Lucien's form would change completely if she didn't stop him soon.

"That's bad! What should I do now? I have to stop it before the humans notice the commotion!"

"You finally realized your mistake, fox woman?"

Asked Jayden who had come with his troops. Sephie looked back to see Jayden who had just stepped out of the car with several members of the execution division.

"Jayden, why are you-"

"Hold your questions! Looks like someone started their first fight here!" Jayden laughed scornfully at how Lucien had almost turned into his monster wolf form.

He gave a signal code from the look in his eyes to some of his subordinates to immediately help Lucien. Then he walked over to the unlucky Lucien to rage and destroy everything that was near him.

"Lucien, stop...! This isn't the time for you to rampage yet! Save your strength and listen to me!" Jayden said giving orders to Lucien which he had to obey.

Lucien heard what Jayden was saying. But he felt that he had no obligation to comply with Jayden's words when he had the opportunity to kill the people who had killed him.

"I know you're feeling really angry right now. But there's no point in you venting your revenge now! They're not human, they're just like us. If you think your revenge will pay off by killing them here, you're wrong!"

Lucien, who had almost made an attack, immediately stopped when he heard Jayden's threat. He was surprised because Jayden knew what he was thinking and most importantly it seemed that Jayden knew who they were.

Jayden could tell that Lucien was slowly starting to calm down. He wouldn't let Lucien, who couldn't really control his demonic powers, go wild in this place. If that happened, this chaos would definitely attract the attention of the humans out there and get their identities exposed.

"Lucien, stop it! I'm begging! This is not the time to fight...!" Sephie screamed, trying to beg Lucien to stop.

Lucien groaned in annoyance. He doesn't want to stop, hatred and vengeance rule his soul. He wanted to immediately destroy these people when he had the chance to do so.

"Why can't you hold your hatred for them for a while when you can hold your grudge against Victor? The mastermind for your death? Control yourself, Lucien! Otherwise, you will be the one who will perish!"
