The Bloodline
Lucien pondered for a moment thinking about what Sebastian had said. He didn't expect that demonic power would affect a person's mind and soul so much.
If that's true, then he can't blame any of them for acting cruelly especially Claude, because in truth they are no longer humans, but demons and the main purpose of demons in this world is to cause damage.
"That means someday I will do something even worse than what Claude did, don't you think?"
"Yes, it's possible! But it all depends on your ability to control the demon soul within you. Especially since you are the possessor of Constantine's power, where that power will affect you much stronger and faster than any other demon. If Claude, I and the others Others can last for years. But not you, Lucien. You might only be able to retain your human side for less than a year. You'll become a full-fledged devil much sooner."
"Tch, I guess a year is too long for me to destroy that bastard. I'll ruin his life and kill him sooner, I don't have to waste too much time in this world."
"And go to hell, is that it?"
"Isn't that my final resting place?"
"Did you know that there are some demi demons who just don't want to go to hell that fast?"
"I think there will always be people like that, they don't want to leave what they have and also their current power to go to hell. Not even a few of them choose not to kill the target of their revenge so they can linger live in this world. Maybe most of the serial killers and vicious psychopaths in this world are for the sake of demons. Maybe they died and chose to become devils in order to continue committing crimes. We will never know that until we also become part of they."
Lucien seemed to quite agree with Sebastian's statement since he also experienced the same thing. He was killed by assassins and in the end he also became a ruthless killer who could kill an innocent child and in the future he might do something even more terrible than outside by strangling the neck of a five year old little girl who called him "Dad"
Seeing Lucien silent with such a cold expression made Sebastian feel a little guilty for having said something Lucien might not be ready to accept. But seeing Lucien's unstable condition like this made him inevitably have to say it.
"How was the game that night? Did you guys win it?" Ask Lucien. He was sure that he didn't know the result of Jonathan, Sebastian and Harry's match against the three members of the Bloodline Devil at the casino table that night.
"Unfortunately me and Harry managed to win it, but Jonathan had to lose against their bald-headed leader!"
"Really?"
"Yeah, you know what? That night's loss left Sebastian so shaken he almost went berserk. I really can't believe that he could be beaten by a former free wrestler."
"Is that so? He definitely can't accept his defeat-"
"Even today he still can't accept it. Paul told him that his position as captain of team five will not be replaced. Paul thinks that the group is already very strong to dare to challenge us."
"But in the end they still lose? Since you and Harry won, that means we get two points."
"Even though Harry and I won, Jonathan as the leader had lost. So you could say the final result was a draw. It was quite a surprise for Victor who was supervising the game that night. He seemed interested in this man because he could play very well like you."
"Is that so? He must be thinking about recruiting that man as a slave to his domain."
"I think Victor is really a very cunning man, he is too smart to read the situation and take advantage of everything that happens."
"You only noticed now?"
"Hahaha...but interestingly, if someone like him were to become the alpha in The Hunters, then I believe that within a short time, The Hunters would reach the pinnacle of power in this world. A cunning and greedy leader like him doesn't need demonic powers to rule the world."
"Tch,"
Lucien twitched in annoyance. His hands clenched and trembled. He felt very angry even though he only imagined what if a devil like Victor had powers like himself. I don't know what will happen to this world.
"Are you mad at the thought of Victor being the alpha?"
"I don't think he'll ever get to this position even if I kill him later!"
"Why?"
"A person like him will not be able to go to heaven. He will go straight to hell without having to sell his soul first to Lucifer."
"Yes, you have a point too! But you mustn't forget that Lucifer is the king of demons, Lucifer. He can do anything he wants even to make a denizen of hell resurrect to earth to satisfy his ambitions. We'll never know what he's planning because we're just his real slaves to him."

"Bastard...!"
Jonathan throws a flower vase at the wall with great emotion. Even though it had been several days since his defeat that night. But his anger still did not subside.
He felt so angry and frustrated because he had to lose to a foreign player. What was even worse was that Victor, who as a casino lord in Las Vegas, was showing interest in his opponent that night.
"Damn it, how could I possibly lose to that guy? He said swearing. If he wasn't stopped that night soon, then he would most likely go out of control and use his demonic powers to fight against the three members of the Demon's Descendant.
Behind him, Sephie smirked at Jonathan's depressing behavior. It seemed that this poor fellow would be completely eliminated in no time.
"You still enjoying your tantrum, Jonathan?"
"Tch, looks like you really enjoyed losing me. Isn't that so, Sephie?"
"Of course!"
