Jayden chuckled as he smoked the cigarette in his hand. Hearing Jonathan's story about what happened last night made him feel comforted.

Sometimes he felt that everything that was happening to him right now was just the worst nightmare. But every time he remembered how the killers laughed at his helpless self and how Ruby and Victor kissed each other in front of him, he realized more and more that this was the real world he had to live in.

He was back at the same casino tonight, playing for a rich man named Reinhard. His win the other day delighted Claude and compelled the other young jockeys to come with him tonight and see how he plays.

The interesting sight made the people along the way they were walking look at them in awe. Especially when Lucien and company arrived at the casino. Lucien stepped out calmly, relaxed and confident. He knew that no one could stop him now, including Victor.
