♥ Chapter 32♥

Enzo D'Angelo.

''Good morning, darling. What happened at the party last night? Lucas only told us you were leaving.

I let out a sigh as I remembered the incident, and the fear that the boy might have died haunts me.

''A boy attacked me in the bathroom, and I hit him back,'' I explain. Only the two of them weren't very happy to hear about it.

My mother looks at me with concern.

''You're all right, aren't you?'' She holds my face lovingly.

''I'm fine, mom, I just feel guilty knowing that the boy could be dead right now. '' I say, the anguish evident in my voice.

'' How? '' She asks, her eyes wide with shock.

''The two of them spoke to their father, and a security guard went towards the bathroom where the boy was.

'' They really care about you enough to act without thinking about the consequences. '' comments my brother Klaus, approaching us.

I don't say anything and go back to observing the twins, who seem rather irritated as they talk to their relatives. The atmosphere is tense, and I feel the pressure of the environment. Lucas glances at me, and, ashamed of what happened in the bathroom upstairs, I quickly look away.

“Mom, can I talk to you for a minute?” I ask, trying to disguise my discomfort.

''Of course,'' she replies, with an understanding expression.

We head toward the corridor. The silence is thick, and the tension I feel is almost palpable.

“What is it?” she asks, breaking the silence and looking at me with a mixture of curiosity and concern.

''My parents, are they related?'' She chokes on her own saliva.

“What kind of question is that, Enzo?” I let out a sigh.

'' It's that. The twins are related to each other. '' I say in a low tone.

She looks at me in shock.

'' Ah... Wow... Well... The only thing they do is kiss, I've never seen them have a relationship with each other. '' I nod.

'' Now I'm too embarrassed to face them. '' I'm not going to tell you that, as well as watching them have sex, Luan sucked me off.

'' Son, do you like them? Be honest.'' she asks, looking worried and serious.

I face her and begin to reflect internally. The question is complex. Do I really like them? They are, in fact, unbearable and extremely perverted, and they seem to be corrupting me. But...

“I still don't know the answer, Mom,” I say with a tone of uncertainty. She nods, understanding the difficulty of my answer.

“Maybe you'll find out before we leave. Have you thought about that?” she suggests, with a look that mixes understanding and encouragement.

It's true; at some point, we'll have to leave. The idea of staying here or leaving is becoming more and more real.

''You'll have to decide,'' she says, frowning with an expression of seriousness.

''What do you mean decide, Mom?'' I ask, confused, trying to understand the implication.

''Whether you're going to stay here or come back with us,'' he explains, trying to clarify the point.

''I... it's too early to decide that,'' I reply, feeling that the decision needs more time and reflection.

''Look, if you choose to stay here, we won't be angry. What matters is your happiness, and we'll support you,'' she says, with a reassuring smile that conveys a feeling of unconditional support. The gesture is comforting, but the decision still weighs on me.

''It's too early for that, Mom,'' I repeat, with a tone of hesitation. She nods again, showing that she understands my position.

''All right, let's go back to the living room,'' she says, starting to walk back.

We return to the living room, where I find the twins with their arms crossed, while the redhead, Amelia, talks animatedly to them. The atmosphere seems charged with tension, and I feel a strange sense of unease.

“And who is that boy?” asks Amelia, pointing at me with an invasive curiosity.

“That's my children's boyfriend,” replies the twins' father, with a smile that mixes pride and a hint of malice. The surprise is evident in everyone, including my family and the relatives present.

''B-B-Boyfriend?'' the redhead asks, clearly in shock and with an incredulous expression.

''We're not boyfriend and girlfriend yet. We're just slowly winning him over.'' The twins say it in unison, as if the answer had been rehearsed.

The redhead looks at me seriously, and, to my growing irritation, her eyes are full of judgment. I roll my eyes, trying to stay calm.

''Now that's it, that redhead is going to want to get me into trouble,'' I think, feeling increasingly frustrated with the situation.

The twins look at her with a cold, disapproving expression, which makes it clear that the tension between them is palpable.

''Luan? Lucas?'' I call out to them, trying to intervene and avoid a bigger confrontation. “Let's eat.” My tone is firm, trying to smooth over the situation and prevent the friction between those present from intensifying.

The two of them approach quickly, and we start heading towards the dining room. The atmosphere seems to have calmed down a little, although the discomfort is still there.

''Are you better now?'' asks Luan, standing next to me, with a concerned and caring tone.

''I'm still very embarrassed, so please don't touch me,'' I ask, trying to ease the tension. They laugh softly, as if the situation were an inside joke.

''Anything for you, darling. '' say the twins in unison, with sincere and understanding smiles.

I feel a mixture of relief and nervousness when I hear these words. Even though the situation makes me uncomfortable, I can't deny that there is a certain relief in knowing that they are willing to respect my boundaries, at least for the time being. But at the same time, I feel guilty. I know they're trying hard to please me, and that only adds to my confusion about how I feel about them.
