The event(2)

Brightstone's eyes darkened as he watched Jules and Janice who sat a few seats away from him.
He grimaced, shaking his head as the thought of punching Jules's face evaded his mind.
He clenched his hands into fists, then averted his gaze when Jules turned his head.
He sensed Jules' eyes on him. But, he didn't look back. Rather, he concentrated on the performers that were now exhibiting their abilities.
Not that he was scared to stare at Jules, he didn't want to let him know he had been watching them.
"My Lord." Cecelia's sultry voice snapped him out of his thoughts.
He stared at her for a long while and wondered why he wasn't interested in an unmarried woman like her.
Cecelia was beautiful, but not like Janice, whose beauty was extraordinary.
Janice, even without makeup on, looked like a siren. He had never thought any woman would look as perfect as that until he saw her.
Brightstone thought of how Jules was able to snag her attention because he was aware he wasn't the type that was into commitment. He still believed Jules wasn't into her like she was. Yet, she was with him and it irritated the hell out of him.
Brightstone recognized everyone saw him as a flirt. A notorious one at that and he didn't deny any allegations that were laid on him. However, he couldn't explain the reason he could not get Janice.
He had been with a lot of women, many of which had visited his bed. Both married and unmarried.
Janice's case was different.
It almost seemed like she didn't want him to approach her.
Though she was nice to him as always, she had rejected him countless times.
And he was not giving up easily because he had made up his mind not to.
"Don't look."
Janice rolled her eyes as Jules muttered into her ear for the second time. He had been touchy ever since he caught her at her haven with Brightstone.
She found it kind of infuriating since he was acting all clingy and not like the man she knew because of a certain person.
Again, she enjoyed his attention on her.
"Don't tell me you are jealous of Brightstone's eyes on me?"
"I am not jealous." He grunted.
"Then, why are you protective and possessive all of a sudden?"
"Because he's a nefarious philanderer and the kind of woman that often frequented his bed are both unmarried and married women."
Janice raised her brows whilst staring at him.
Her lips twisted slightly as she thought of married women going into Brightstone's room.
He looked attractive and she had been attracted to him even before knowing he was Jules' friend.
However, she couldn't stoop so low as to do what married women did with him.
Janice tsked whilst pondering if they had no shame and respect for their husbands, to cheat on them with Brightstone who cared less about them.
"I'm trying to protect you from his clutch. I believe he does bewitch women into sleeping with him."
Janice giggled and she caught him glaring.
She chanced a glance to her right and noticed Brightstone was a few meters away from them.
He didn't look as if he was affected by whatever Jules was doing. Rather, he looked relaxed and slouched into the chair more.
His eyes left the stage momentarily. Then, it landed on her and he smirked.
"Hey," Janice murmured as she heard Jules grunted again. "He's trying to rile you on purpose." She mumbled averting his gaze this time around.
"I know and I feel like punching his freaking face for even staring at you in that flirty way."
"Will you do that to all the men that looked at me that way?"
"Of course." He asserted, nodding his head. "If need be."
Janice clasped her hand over her mouth as she laughed. "You are funny."
"I'm freaking serious right now. Perhaps, I need to show you how serious I am." Jules said, standing from his chair.
"Calm down, darling." Janice clutched his hand, forcing him back on his seat.
"You are a king and we are in public." She reminded him. "I'm sure you don't want your jealousy to drive you into creating a scandal?"
"I'm not creating a scandal and I'm not jealous."
"You are. It's written all over your face." Janice giggled.
"It's not."
"Whatever you say." Janice retorted, agreeing with him.
She didn't want to get him angrier than he was because she saw he was already furious at Brightstone.
"Let's watch what we are here for," She said after a while of silence.
"That's better." Jules agreed. Then concentrated on the performers.

"Today is one of the best." Janice yawned whilst tugging off the gown she donned.
She turned to Jules and let him assist her with her bra. She groaned as he undid the last hook. Her breast sprang free from the cups and she caressed them before touching her tummy.
Jules watched Janice as she walked to the mirror. She stood in front of it, still caressing her tummy.
He walked to her back and laid his hand on hers.
"That's because I was there to keep you company." He mumbled, kissing her neck.
"That's right." Janice shivered when he began to trail kisses down her spine. "But your jealousy almost got the best of you."
"I call it protection, Madame."
"I call it jealousy, sire." Janice moaned as Jules' finger rubbed her wet core.
She gasped and tugged his hair as his finger slipped into it.
"You were saying?"
Janice shook her head and mumbled incoherently. She couldn't remember what she had been saying.
All she could concentrate on was the desire that was beginning to build in her.
Her core tightened as his fingers pumped into her core more. She shut her eyes and her head reeled. Her breath came out in a gasp and she dug her sharp nails into his back.
"You know sweetheart, I'm the only one that can make you feel this way."
"O-of course!" Janice moaned.
"No one else!"
Jules swept her off her feet suddenly. Then dropped her on the bed. He came on top of her and moved her legs apart.
Swiftly, he thrust into her. He continued to ride her until she came whilst shrieking out his name.
