Chapter 20: My first date
***Nala’s P.O.V
Immediately, I awaken from my sleep. The thunder rolled loudly as I did, and the lightning light flashes through my bedroom window. It was a rainy night. The rain was heavily falling outside, and it was a bit chilly. I laid back down in my bed and curled up into my sheet tightly. My head turned to my window sadly as I did. I had a terrible nightmare. I dreamed that I was lying in a cell, and I was standing over my mom, shaking her to wake up. It was the same thing that happened to me back in Burnesfield, but instead, Alpha Anton's dad was there, Eric. He was in the cell as well and laughing at what was happening. While he was laughing, he was mocking me that my mom was dead and soon he shifted into his wolf form and slowly began to walk toward me wanting to kill me as well, that's when I jumped up from my sleep. I began to cry from the terrible dream. The thunder again rolled but harder and too the lightning flashes. I started to become very scared of being alone that I quickly covered my head with my sheet, while my body began to shiver. A she-wolf needs a companion, I recollected what Dr. Annie said to me as I tried to keep myself calm telling myself that I was safe here. I then realized that what Dr. Annie said was true. I couldn't possibly stay alone for the rest of my life. I need to find love as well, someone who will have great respect for me and will never hurt me. I began to ponder where I would find a wolf. My life, staying in Roxburghe had been nothing but work and home. I only started going to Blair's home just because of Alpha Anton. My mind instantly ran to the handsome hazel eye wolf, Kyle.
"No," I said softly under the sheet. Out of all the wolves in Roxburghe, I'd never choose him. Seeing so far, the type of wolf he is, a relationship with him is off the list. Sleep soon started to kick in. I was happy it was, for recollecting about Kyle, my mind just couldn't stop thinking about him. I went off to sleep.

In the morning getting ready and going off to work, I met with Blair along the way. We both exchanged our morning greetings happily to see each other.
"So, did your ex came to visit you last night?" Blair inquired me.
I nodded.
"I hope everything went well and he won't be bothering you anymore," Blair said to me.
"He won't," I answered her softly. "We both said our goodbyes."
"Good," Blair answered. "Now, you can be in peace at home."
I again nodded.
"He bought me a lot of clothes when he came as well," I told Blair. "But I don't want them, I’m thinking about giving them away or possible throw them away like the bundle of red roses he gave me."
"Ohhh.., that is so romantic that he did all of that for you," Blair said excitedly. "I wish you didn't throw away the roses after he put into so much thought of bringing it for you, it wouldn't hurt keeping it."
I started to feel bad at what Blair said. It was true what she said. It was quite hard throwing away the bundle of red roses, they were beautiful and too looked expensive, knowing him they must have been.
"The clothes, he bought for you, I'll be happy to take them," Blair said to me.
"You can accompany me at home for them today," I told her which was not too long from now. It was the weekend and working hours are from 9-1 pm.
"Good," Blair said excitedly, I can't wait to see them later.
When we got to work, surprisingly Dr. Annie was already there. She too was dealing with a patient an elderly she-wolf. Blair and I were quite stunned by her early presence, we were speechless. we both greeted her and attend to her work.
Time flies fast and soon Dr. Annie was on her way home. Blair and I cleaned the office quickly and soon we were on our way to my home. Blair was eager to see the clothes alpha Anton had bought for me and strangely I was excited a little to see what was inside the bag. The type of clothes he had bought for me.
"I hope he as great fashion style," Blair said to me along the way.
"He does." I was quite surprised at how confidently I answered her. Seeing how well put together he always was, I was quite sure all the clothes he had bought for me in those bags were good-looking clothes any Luna was sure to want to wear.
Blair and I suddenly slowed down as we both saw Kyle approaching us. He was passing us in going his ways. He was quite handsome. It's like he gets even more handsome every time I see him. He was attired in a yellow shirt that goes well with his beautiful blonde hair. His shirt fitted his well-built body showing his chest. His body was not as muscular as Alpha Anton's, but he was very attractive. His black pant and dark large boot went well with his shirt. It seemed like all alphas had a great sense of attiring themself well, unlike me who just threw anything on.
"Good morning, Mr. Kyle," Blair informed him as he came closer to us.
"Good morning," I greeted him as well, politely, since he will one day be the alpha of the land. I didn't want him to think I had anything against him for things would not be so well if he one day becomes the alpha. I'd probably make my life even more miserable just like he tried to do whenever he's close to me.
His beautiful eyes stared at me as he was close to our side. My head turned away from him nervously and I was now eager to get away from him. Sadly, Blair stopped allowing me to as well.
"Thank you for coming to the party at my house," Blair thanked him. My head turned away from his not wanting to look him in the face, nervous as she did.
"It was a good party," I heard Kyle's strong voice beside me which sounded quite sexy. "But I wished your friend, Dr. Nala was there as well,” I heard him call my name.
My head turned to his right away and our eyes met. My body suddenly became relaxed by his mesmerizing eyes.
"Well, next time when I do have another party, I'll make sure she'll be there, if you would be there as well, sir," Blair said to him.
As Blair answered him, he never stops staring at me nor I did.
"I'll be happy to," he answered with a smile. It was the most beautiful smile I saw I couldn't help but blush. My head turned away from his right away.
Blair said her goodbyes and started off. I did the same holding my head straight, shyly. I didn't look back at Kyle. I walked nervously.
"Nala," I heard Kyle call me from behind. A strong feeling ran through my body hearing him calling my name and I stopped right away, Blair did as well.
I turned to look at him and I felt my body begin to shiver. I was so nervous being around him. The feeling was so overwhelming that I wanted to run home right away.
"Can I talk to you for a sec?" Kyle asked me politely, like a gentleman which I knew he was not.
"Okay," I answered him nervous as hell.
Blair informed me that she will wait on me and went away giving us some space. She didn't go too far away from me for I could see her standing along the side of the road waiting on me.
I approached Kyle and waited anxiously for what he had to say to me.
"I'll love to get to know you a little," Kyle said to me.
I lowered my head shyly hearing what he had said.
"There's something about you that I strongly admire," Kyle told me.
My eyes went to his right away and I paused staring into his radiant eyes.
I didn't know what to say to him, I just stood there nervously staring back at him and waiting for him to let me leave.
"So, can I ask you out on a date, tonight?" he asked me.
"I don't know," I turned my head away shyly.
"Your friend can come along with her boyfriend as well," Kyle persuaded me to accept his date offer.
"Okay," I accepted his offer without even thinking.
"I'll pick you up tonight at 7," Kyle said to me as he left.
I watched him as he left and suddenly, I turned around and headed back to Blair with great worries. I glance behind me making sure he was gone before I could tell Blair the big mess I had put myself into now.
"You got to help me out Blair I just did something stupid," I complained to Blair.
"What is it?" Blair inquired me.
"I just accepted a date with Kyle tonight at 7 without even thinking," I told her.
Blair froze hearing what I had said. I ran my right hand through my hair wishing I never did. At that moment I wish I could turn back time and turn him down. Kyle was not the wolf I should ever get myself engaged with; he was a bad wolf.
