Chapter 32: His he ignoring me

**Nala's P.O.V

Immediately I went back to Dr. Charles's place and started packing away the goods, as I did, I was still quite surprised at what had happened at the market, Alpha Anton ignoring me. He has never ignored me. I'm used to him being all over me and wanting me back, seeing how he just walked away after taking a short glance at me, it felts so weird.

"No," I said as I shook my head closing the refrigerator door. "It's good he's treating me this way," I told myself. "That's what I wanted and I'm not going to be bothered by this anymore."

I went upstairs to check on Dr. Charles, he sat up in his bed reading. I told him I was back and went back downstairs not wanting to bother him but before I did, I told him to call me whenever he needs me. I went into the living room and sat down. There was nothing else for me to do. I was used to it anyways that was my everyday life at Roxburghe after leaving work before I met Blair the party goer and wild wolf. I smiled missing her already. My head turned to the chair Alpha Anton first kissed me and almost devour my lips. I turned my head away from the chair right away not wanting to think about it or him. It was quite hard to though, what had happened at the market surprised me. My mind soon went back to seeing him at the market. His hair was in a ponytail, he looked good. He should do his hair often like that, I thought, and the way he was leading his men was astounding. You could see he had good leadership qualities, no wonder he is the alpha. Probably he was very busy when I saw him, I thought, that's why he didn't bother to run to me like a little tamed pup.

"He'll come to see me soon when he's through with what he's doing," I said confidently as I got up. "After all, he's obsessed with me," I laughed. I hated I was laughing about my ex, but I couldn't help myself I was liking it. I guess being around Blair had seemed to change me a little, into a freak that I was so tempted to turn down alpha Anton when he comes to see me today, begging me to take him back. I loved the idea of doing so.

"I'm too beautiful and too sexy," I sang lively as I went upstairs into my room. I lay down waiting on the right time to prepare lunch for Dr. Charles and to check on him again. Within half an hour I heard him coughing. I went to check on him and gave him some coughing syrup and a bottle of water. After I was through it was time for lunch. I made him some carrot soup and a chicken sandwich for myself. I fed him and ate my lunch. He was soon fast asleep. I left his room and went back downstairs to wash the plate. As I did my mind went again on Alpha Anton. It was soon evening, and he wasn't here knocking down my door begging me to take him back, probably he's busy I thought again and went back to finish washing the plate.

My mind was now on Izabella. I was curious about when she started to work with Alpha Anton. I couldn't help if she was the one preventing Alpha Anton from acting all obsessive with me anymore.

"That's bitch," I curse.

I headed upstairs angrily and there I heard a knock on the door. I uncontrollably smiled turning around to open the door while I made a grave face wanting to believe it was Alpha Anton at the door and acting like I didn't like the idea of him being here when actually I couldn't stop thinking about him throughout the day. I opened the door, and I was so surprised to see it was a strange blonde hair man instead.

"Alpha Anton wanted to know if the doctor is fine and if there's anything you want me to do?" he inquired me.

"He's fine and everything is under control," I told him.

"Okay, thank you miss," he said as he began on his way back.

"Excuse me," I stopped him.

He turned back to face him.

"Tell your Alpha, Nala is here, and he doesn't need to send anyone to check on Dr. Charles."

He nodded and went off quickly. I closed the door, somehow disappointed it was not him. Probably, he truly didn't see me, I thought. Well, he will know now that I'm here when he receives the message from his pack member, I again thought as I went upstairs. I check on the doctor and again went to my room. I went over to my window and parted the curtain staring through the curtain. I couldn't help waiting on Alpha Anton running to me and leaving everything he's doing now no matter how important it is just to fall to my feet and beg me to take him back. I smirked waiting anxiously for him. I opened my window wanting him to see me when he gets here so I can slam the window in his face and ignore him. I stand before the window until my feet grew tired that I had to sit down.

Why isn't he running to me? I thought as I threw myself down onto my back disappointed. It was soon to help Dr. Charles to take a bath and give him his dinner. The day was ending, and the brute was still not here. He must be all over that beautiful bitch, I complained within my mind.

"Dr. Charles do you want me to help you to the bathroom to take a bath?" I inquired him as I went into his room.



"No," he answered him. "I can handle myself," he told me as he got off the bed slowly and went into his bathroom.

"Okay, I'll be downstairs making dinner."

Before I headed downstairs, Dr. Charles told me he wanted some more soup for dinner. I nodded and went into the kitchen. More soup was left that I had prepared. I just had to heat it up. When Dr. Charles completed his bath, I gave him his soup. I soon heard a knock on the door downstairs.

"It must the alpha coming to check on me," Dr. Charles told me as he gave me the empty bowl. "He always come see me at this time."

I took the plate from him, and I felt like my breath stopped hearing it was him now, downstairs.

"He's been good to me since you have left," Dr. Charles told him.

"Please let him in Nala."

I nodded and slowly began to leave the room. I was so nervous as I did. I have been waiting on him to come and to beg me to take him back all day and now he was here I couldn't handle it. I put away the plate and went to open the door. I opened the door and I paused staring at him.

"Nala," he called me.

"Alpha," I responded back.

For a moment I thought he was going to grab me in his arms not wanting to let me go but what he said, was quite surprising.

"Can I see the doctor?"

I nodded. He passed me and headed straight upstairs. I started at him appall as he did. It seemed like he was ignoring me. Wasn't he crazy about me anymore? I thought curiously and was it because of his maid he wasn't into me anymore? I headed into the living room and sat waiting for his visit with Dr. Charles to be completed.

Sitting within the living room, my mind was on him for the entire time. I sat up in my chair and sat where he could see me as I heard his powerful footstep returning downstairs. He glanced at me as he went to the front door and just left like I didn't mean anything to him anymore. I run upstairs and peeked through my window watching as he went away until I no longer saw him. I remembered him to be obsessive with me that he would hide in my closet spying on me and now he just left without saying goodbye. I just couldn't believe his sudden behaviour towards me anymore. I didn't like it.
