Chapter 24: An awkward moment

***Nala's P.O.V

My eyes widen staring at him and I froze, not believing my eyes, it was him, Alpha Anton, my ex.

Kyle apologizing to me about an alpha meeting. I should have known that he would be there as well. Alpha Anton was attire in a shirt that was a blue as his eyes and a grey pant along with a black shoe. His dressing was quite simple compared to Kyle, but if I should ever choose which one of their outfits looked the best; Alpha Anton won it for me. His strong and well-built body wore the clothes very well.

I panicked as his bright, cold blue eyes met mine and I turned my head away from his. Slowly, I began to remove my hand from Kyle. Please just let us go now, I said out loud within my mind, wanting to get away from my ex right now. It was not easy seeing him now, especially that I was going on a date with someone he knew after what had happened last night and even worse, every clothes he carried for me down to my underwear, bra, shoe, and necklace he bought them, too Blair's but only the shoe and dress. I felt so a shame that I wished there was a rock or a hole that was near me I could just hide behind or crawl into.

"Goodnight," I heard Kyle said to Alpha Anton and reached out for my hand to hold me, ready to leave. I was happy he was leaving, but him holding my hand again, it just didn't feel right now. I wanted to pull my hand away from his, not wanting Alpha Anton to think there was anything serious between us. I so badly wanted to do so but I didn't want Kyle to be suspicious of my strange behaviour around Alpha Anton. I remained to hold my head aside not wanting to look at Alpha Anton. If I do so again, perhaps, I would find myself running home like a headless chicken.

Finally, we began to walk away, I took a deep breath as we did, trying to keep calm of what was happening now. Suddenly my breathing stopped frighteningly, and I exhale heavily, not being able to hold my breath anymore.

"Nala," I heard my ex, alpha Anton called me. Within his voice, I could hear that he was not too please seeing me and Kyle together.

I froze instantly, my head quickly went to his and then Kyle. I was panicking. Kyle head was turned to mine while I glance at him. Within his Hazel eyes I could see he was damn curious of how the alpha knew my name. My eyes went away from his and I immediately remove my hand away from his, while my entire body began to shiver. As my eyes again met my ex bright blue eyes that was very displease at what he was seeing, even though we'd said our goodbyes last night. The look within his eyes and his strongly presence being an alpha, I just couldn't bare his presence anymore. By his powerful presence, I could even feel my wolf whimpering inside of me, scared and embarrassed at what was happening as well. Next, thing I know, I took off running away from everyone dying to get back home. Before, I could run from a great distant from them. I felt my body stopped not being able to move. My head turned to look behind me and my eyes widen frighteningly seeing who was holding me. It was Alpha Anton.

"Let me go," I said petrified as I tried to escape from him.

"Nala," Blair called me worried at what was happened. I looked at her and my attention turned back to my ex instantly.

As I tried to pull my hand away from the alpha, next thing I know Kyle was right between us wanting to rescue me. Alpha Anton releases me at once and he and Kyle were very close; face to face staring at each other hard. Kyle growled at the alpha. Alpha Anton face showed no emotion as he did. His face was still and grave. He cared less about Kyle.

"Is he?" I heard Blair inquired me as I felt her touched my shoulder from behind.

I nodded, before she could complete her sentence, allowing her to know he was my ex, the one who just can't seem to leave me alone.



"Why are you holding my date against her will?" Kyle inquired Anton gravely. "And who are you to her?"

I gazed at Alpha Anton hoping he won't say anything, but I was soon surprised by the words that elude his mouth.

"My Luna," he answered Kyle as he walked strongly and closer to him as if he wanted to start a fight.

Kyle made his right hand into a fist ready to fight back. I run in between them not wanting a war to start by both. I know for sure it won't be pretty, mostly for Kyle. I strongly believed Anton could probably took him down within a second, only a second.

"Please don't do this," I begged Anton as both of my hand rested onto his hard chest. His chest was so strong that it felt like my hand was laying onto a huge rock that was a size of a mountain.

"I'll handle this Nala," I heard Kyle behind me.

I didn't listen to him, for I knew there was no possible way he could have handle it. My hand went away from Anton muscular chest, and I took him by his right hand immediately.

"Nala," Kyle held my next hand as he called me not wanting me to go along with him.

"I'll be okay," I told him.

Anton growled at him, and I immediately pulled my hand away from his. I carried Anton at a section at a corner of a building where no one can see us.

"Why are you doing this after we said our goodbyes?" I question him as I let go of his hand. "I thought you were willing to move on as well, after last night."

Alpha Anton ignored what I had said and pull me into his arms holding me from around my waist tightly.

"I don't want to see you with him," he told me angrily as his eyes stared into mine.

"Don't you understand that were not together and I'm free to date who I want to," I argued with him as I tried to pull his strong arms from around me, wanting him to let me go.

He pulled me closer as I did.

"Anton!" I yelled at him. I was fed up with his behaviour. "I don't have any feelings for you anymore," I told him.

"I wouldn't have pulled you from that fool, if I didn't sense something strong when we kissed last night," Anton said to me.

I froze instantly by what he had said, and my head turned away from him, now, not wanting to look him in the eye.

"Well, I didn't feel anything," I tried to disagree with him, damn knowing I was lying.

"Then why are looking away from me if you strong believe so?" Alpha Anton inquired me.

"You're too close to me, that's why, and you're making me nervous," I answered him quickly.

"Nervous or shy to look me in the eye?" Anton inquired me again.

"I don't want to look at you Anton and please let me go," I said to him sounding very childish.

I remained to hold my head away from him, waiting for him to unhand me.

"Why can't you accept the fact that you still have feelings for me, Nala?" Alpha Anton said to me.

I didn't answer him.

"Why are you trying to kill the love you have for me?"

Again, I said nothing to him.

My body suddenly jumped and my head spin to him, feeling his lips against my neck, kissing me softly.

"Let me go Anton and stop that," I told him.

He didn't. He continued to kiss my neck and uncontrollably I suddenly start to feel myself becoming very relax by what he was doing to me. It felt so good what his tongue and his lips were doing to my neck that I didn't want him to let me go. I just stood there allowing him to have his ways with my neck caressing me, while I feel the hot hair rushing from his nose. Slowly his lips moved from my neck, kissing me, and making a trace to my mouth. I close my eyes as his mouth went to my cheek finding his way to my lips. He kisses me hard, and I moan wrapping my arms against his large and strong body. I kissed him back enjoying his kiss and the taste of his sexy, juicy lips. Every kiss he gave me was addictive, leaving me wanting more.

"No," I stopped him, taking control of my body while I pushed him away from me.

"Nala are you alright?" I heard Blair said as she approached me worried.

"I'm fine," I answered her as I turned to her.

As Blair got closer to me, I took her by the hand and immediately pulled her behind me, eager to go home.

"Aren't you going to tell Kyle your leaving?" Blair inquired me along the way.

"I want to go home now," I complained to her like a child, going off quickly. I took a quick look behind me as I did and there, I saw Alpha Anton staring at me, within his eyes I could see he was very pleased at what had happened. It's like he knew he has won over Kyle and that Kyle will never have me, for he believed I only belong to him.
