Chapter 38

**Winter**



I have just woken up. The full moon is tonight. I am going to be very busy today coordinating last minute plans for the Luna Ceramony, but right now all I can think about is the beautiful man lying next to me. Things have been weird around the packhouse ever since Cole discovered his mother's crazy ideas. I have been trying to keep my distance from her. I don’t want her to set me off again. I could end up hurting her or worse.

I have been talking with Byron a lot lately. It is nice to talk to someone who understands me. He knows how I was brought up and what I believe. Cole has been a lot more at ease now that he understands some of those things too. He has even agreed to let his wolf Dante have more control and run with Athena every morning. I think that has been helping him be less stressed.

“Good morning Beautiful.” Cole says as he gives me a kiss on the cheek.

“Good morning.”

“Tonight, is the ceremony, are you nervous?”

I shake my head. I really am but he doesn’t need to know that.

Cole comes close and kisses me. I immediately feel the wetness between my legs. I still have no idea how on earth his kisses do this to me. He starts kissing my neck and I let out a moan. He moves on top of me and is his kisses become more intense. He enters me and slowly starts to pick up the pace. He feels so good inside me. Suddenly the door swings open as Gale and Marcus barge in.

“What the fuck?!” Cole shouts.

“Oh, so sorry we will just wait outside.”

I look at Cole as the door closes and shove him off. He rolls off and looks at me. “Well, that was a bit awkward.” he says as he goes back to kissing me. I can feel the heat rising again. If I don’t stop this, we are definitely going back to having sex. I pull away. “Cole we can't do this now there are people outside or door waiting on us.”

He responds quickly. “I'm the Alpha and I want to fuck my Luna. They can wait.” He tries to kiss me again, but I turn my head and he kisses my neck instead.

I let out a moan. Who am I to turn down my mate let alone my Alpha? “Fine” I return his kisses. He gets back on top of me and goes straight back to pushing himself inside of me. He feels so good. He continues until we both finish. We are both sweating as we quickly throw on our clothes. Then Cole goes to open the door.

“So, what can we help you with?" Cole says to Marcus and Gale who had been waiting just outside.

Gale is the first to respond, “Good heavens Cole. You couldn’t wait till tonight”

“No sis, I want what I want when I want." Marcus is wearing a big smile and trying not to laugh.

“Well anyways,” Gale continues “we came to get stuff done for tonight. Well, that’s why I came anyway, to get Winter. I don’t know why Marcus is here.”

“And what did you want Marcus?” Cole asks.

Marcus replies “I came to get you to come down to the office. I didn’t know if you were planning to be at work today, and I wanted to remind you that we still have business to deal with before the ceremony tonight.”

“Oh, all right. Let Winter and me just get ready for the day and I will meet you downstairs Marcus.”

Gale chips in “Winter you don’t have time to shower. We have a lot to get done. Shower later.”

Cole ushers Marcus and Gale out and a few minutes later we are both ready for the day. Cole gives me a kiss and heads off to join Marcus leaving me with Gale who reentered the room as he left.

“Well from what I could hear you have been having a wonderful morning." Gale says, trying not to chuckle.

“Sorry Gale didn’t mean to put on a show. I just have a hard time telling him no when it comes to stuff like that. Maybe it is a mate thing. Anyway, what do we have still have to get done today?”

“We have to go pick up cake and your dress also a few other things. Not to mention hair and makeup.”

“Gale we don’t have to do hair and makeup. I told you I don’t wear makeup and will not ever. Also, you may do my hair if you like because you are family like I told you before. I would say your mother could too, but I do not trust her. But not another sole beside family. So, we can just do the other errands.”

“Okay Winter let's get the other stuff done then and if you're okay just watching I still need to get mine done.”

We head down to town. Cole has let us go off territory for some things since Gerrard has moved out of the area for now. He still insists that when we do leave, we bring protection. This time Linus is with us. He is usually the go to for when Gale decides she needs an escape. First, we go to the dress store and pick up my dress. Then Gale insists that we make a stop at a small boutique.

“Linus dear you are welcome to come in, but I advise you to wait in the front.” He nods, and we enter. He takes a chair, and we head back with a tall, beautiful women.

“So, what kind of lingerie do you want to get Winter?”

What is she talking about? All the clothes here are too revealing to wear in front of others. They must be under clothes. They look allot more complicated than normal bras and panties though. I don’t know what I would do with any of this stuff. I mean for Goddess's sake I don’t even wear a bra, and I refuse to wear those thongs she bought me. I hardly wear underwear at all.

“Gale this is sweet, but I will not be buying any of this. I don’t like underwear.”

She looks upset as she nods, and we leave. I think she is disappointed that I did not like her surprise. I should try to make it up to her.

“Gale, how about we just get the cake and head home? I know you wanted to get your hair done at the salon and we can still stop there to get your makeup done if you want, but I would love to do your hair for the ceremony. You can do mine as well.”

Her face lights up “really?” I smile and she continues “Alright, let's just get the cake and head home. I can do my own makeup.”

We do just that. Gale and I chat happily as we head home.
