Chapter 58

**Winter**

Why is Cole just standing there laughing? Does he not know that our wolfs just rutted in front of the pack while they were leaving? Why does he think this is funny? This is just humiliating. “Cole why are you laughing? This is not funny. It is embarrassing. You did not stop your wolf, Dante from doing that in front of the pack. I tried to tell them to leave but as they were leaving you let Dante do what he wanted?”

Cole still was crackling but managed to say, “I'm sorry my dear mate but is it not you who said to let our wolfs have complete control so that’s what I did.” He was still laughing. I know Cole is right. I did say that our wolfs should have control when we in that form.

I know he is right I could have forced control over Athena, but I did not so am I also to blame for this embarrassment. I can see the humor in this I guess and start to join Cole in to a fit of laughter. We both laughed so hard. This scene must look ridiculous from anyone looking at us.

We had shifted after our wolfs had there fun and were just standing in the middle of the arena naked and laughing hysterically. Once we gained control of our self, we retrieved our clothes that we had taken off prior to our shift and got dressed.

Cole took my hand and said we should get some food seeing as he was hungry. We went to get some food from the kitchen and asked Marie to make us some food. We went upstairs to cleaned up and changed for the day.

When we returned to the kitchen for the food the aroma of fried chicken hung heavily in the air. The smell which normally delighted me was making me queasy and I could not handle the churning of my stomach. I quickly rushed to the sink to relive the myself. I knew I could not make it to the toilet to relieve my stomach contents, so the sink was the next best thing.

As I continued to throw up Cole was holding my hair back and petting my back. Sasha came in to see the scene she said “Cole I think Luna needs to go to the pack doctor. For I know what ails her but Luna and yourself should have him tell you.”

With that Sasha smiled and looked at Marie who was also smiling. Was something going on that they both knew but would not tell us. “Marie, will you fix me and the twins some plates please and bring them upstairs.” Marie nodded and Sasha walked out of the kitchen.

“Cole, I think we should listen to Sasha lets go to the doctor. If something is wrong, I would like to know and get it taken care of sooner rather than later.” Marie quietly chuckled to herself. Cole looked at her then back at me. “Can we go after we eat; I really am hungry.”

The thought of actually eating what was smelling so rank made my stomach churn again and I returned to getting sink in the sink. “I guess we should not wait” Cole confirmed and after a few minutes of being sick I washed my face and we headed out to the meet the pack doctor at the packs medical center.

We arrived at the packs med center and I told the receptionist we need to see a doctor immediately. She looked up from her computer and realizing it was the Alpha and Luna she immediately stood up and spoke. “Of course, Alpha Luna let me get you to a room.”

As we got into one of the rooms she asked. “Which one of you is sick?” I spoke up. “The Luna is. She threw up this morning and again when we about to eat.” With hearing this she smiled and said “Oh, okay I will send someone to get your blood and we will run some tests.”

With that the older receptionist left the room. Why did she look so happy? First it was Sasha and Marie. Now the older receptionist was smiling. It was as if all of them where Happy there Luna was sick. The nurse came in and took the Winters vitals and blood.

The nurse carried the same smile and pleasantness. I was starting to get angry all these people were being way to happy to see that the Luna of the pack had fallen ill. Shortly after the blood had been taken the doctor came in.

“Good Afternoon Alpha Luna.” He nodded to us and spoke. “I have some wonderful news for the both of you.” Wonderful news? What could he be talking about? What is so wonderful that makes my mate feel so crappy. “Well, I would like to be the first to tell you congratulations. Luna you are pregnant.”

Did I hear that right? Winter was pregnant. I cannot believe it I am going to be a dad. Both Winter and I were just struck in silence. I do not think she had any idea. After a few moments of silence doctor Harold spoke up.

“Do you know when this could have happened?” Doctor Harrold asked. Honestly this could have happened at any time. It is not like Winter and I used any protection. We both just shock our heads. He said no matter we will check it all out with a sonagram.

He instructed winter to lay back and she did as he set everything up, he told us we should look at the screen. Sure, enough he said. “You look to be about three weeks” he paused for a moment and zoomed in. “It looks like Alpha you will be having to pups soon.”

Did I hear this right? Twins. Is he serious? I mean My brother James had a set of twins with Sasha so maybe they run in the family? I have no idea, but my darling Mate of mine was pregnant. We both looked at the screen and saw the two hearts beating.
