“Winter are you listening? Hello earth to Winter.” has she not been listening to anything I have been saying? I mean it was hard enough to even talk to her when she looked like that. This seemed to snap her back into reality.

“Yes, did you say something Cole?” Was she kidding me? I guess she really was not listening. “I was trying to fill you in. I wanted to go over strategy for you plan with the females. How you plan to keep Athena in since you should not shift. Also, I called a council meeting to make a plan on Gerrard and possibly Alpha Ryan.”

Winter looks at me and then responds. “I have talked with Athena she is on board with not shifting but I do not know if she will fully listen. She informed me I shifted with no consequences this morning, but I told her I didn’t want to risk it unless we absolutely had to. She agreed to this.”

“As for training with the females I made plans and I will be safe I will not jeopardize this pregnancy. Also, it will give me an opportunity to have a longer time convincing them to shift more. When it comes time for training in wolf form. I will use mind link and maybe get one of you good warriors to help was what I had in mind.”

“What are you thinking for Gerrard? I do not think we need to focus on Alpha Ryan he has not done anything yet to be untrustworthy. So, let's not worry about him. We have no reason to worry about him he has given us no reason to think he wants us harm.” I guess she is right.

If Alpha Ryan wanted to do harm, he would have tried something. We should focus on Gerrard. I think we need to train up a bit more than take the offensive. I am tired of waiting for him. We should go out and slaughter him. I fill Winter in on my thoughts and she agrees. Even suggesting we reach out to other packs not just Blue Moon pack.

I agree with Winter reaching out would be a good idea. We both agree that we should not attack till the babies are born. So, in about 5 months we will go out and destroy Gerrard and his rogue followers. I think it is a good plan. As long as he doesn’t attack us first. She also brought up a good point.

Telling me that the females would be able to protect themselves while the warriors were gone if everything went according to the plan that is a good point. That will be really comforting to the warriors while they are gone to know that their mates can protect themselves. I hope Winter knows she will not be with the warriors when we go and take care of our Gerrard problem.

“Winter I am just going to tell you now. You will be part of planning our strike plan, but I cannot have you out there fighting. It is not a slight against you it is just that I will need you here to help the women and children. Also, you will need to protect our pups seeing as they are the future of this pack.”

She makes a twisted face. Oh, man I hope this does not turn into some big fight. Like yea I get it she can fight she can hold her own. But it is not the Lunas job to go fight with the Alpha. Especially when we are going outside of pack territory. Like if we had a surprise attack in territory, I would expect her to protect our home, but this is not that.

“Are you mad about what I said?” she waits a second before responding. “No, I’m not cross. I get it and I will listen just this once but don’t get used to it.” Ha at least she won’t go against what I want. I would hate to use my Alpha voice and force her to listen to me. At least this way it can just be a request she is taking to heart.


**Winter**

I am glad Cole asked me to stay home when they take the fight to Gerrard. I do not think I would be able to leave my babies behind. I still cannot believe I am pregnant. The thought of leaving them and not knowing they are safe is something I do not think I could handle.
