SHOCK

While I was heading to Leo's room, Renata called me immediately she saw me passing through the kitchen. I was surprised and wondered what she wanted to say, she walked up to me and looked at me directly in the eye.
'"The battle line has been drawn, let see if you would survive here" She pushed me and walked away. Surprisingly, some maids weren't laughing unlike before, probably they thought I was going to report them to Leo. I shrieked and left the kitchen, I was climbing the stairs when I saw Leo coming down. He was putting on a black shirt and pants, with a black designer boot, his shirt also had an embroidery by the pocket. He had his two hands on his in his pocket as always while his guard walked slowly behind him.
"Come with me "He said immediately he got to where I was standing
"Sir? I'm sorry I can't go. I don't attend burials I will just go back and wait for you " I said in reluctance to follow him as he kept on staring at me, it seemed like he was in shock and I wondered why. Since he wasn't saying anything, I smiled and turn to leave but he grabbed my hand and headed towards the door. " Sir you have to stop doing this " I murmured but seems like he heard me.
" Doing what?" He asked me opening the door as he was heading to his car." I can't possibly be entering Leo's car right?" I thought. He asked me again but I still didn't respond.
" You have to stop dragging my hands against my own will" I said inwardly, as I stood in front of his car. He entered and told me to come in through the other door, instead I turned to leave. He honked loudly and I stopped moving, he opened the door from inside and shouted at me to come in. His voice had become hoarse and he had a frown on his face, I became scared of what the consequences might be if I disobey any further. I entered and sat on the chair gently before closing the door, I wasn't comfortable sitting beside him not to talk of sitting in his car. My two hands were holding my knee as I kept on moving forward and backward like I was sitting on a rocking chair.
I looked back and saw that Leo's guard wasn't with us anymore, I began to wonder where he was going and why he was taking me along with him. The scary part is that, he was driving on full speed and kept on overtaking any car blocking his way. My mind flashed back to the car I had seen the day I was going to school, it must must have been Leo who was driving carelessly that day. I felt a hand touch my shoulder and pushed it backward, allowing me to rest my back comfortably on the chair. I look at Leo and wondered why he was being nice, I kept on glancing at him while he was driving.
" Are you late for the burial? " I asked him, with my eyes still fixed firmly on the road.
"Burial!? " He asked turning to look at me with surprise written all over his face. I wondered if I said something wrong. I didn't reply him and luckily he didn't insist, I just took out my phone and started chatting with Danielle. I could see Leo was trying to look at my chat but I pretended like I didn't notice anything. "I see Renata didn't inform you of your duties as my personal maid right? " He asked all a sudden. I dropped my phone on my lap because I didn't want to seem rude, I looked up at him fidgeting with my finger as I wondered where the question was coming from, maybe it was because I was pressing my phone.
"I'm sorry, I wouldn't do it again" I said with my eyes down still playing with my fingers.
" Sorry for what? " He asked me and I got confused, he was about to complain about me pressing my phone just now, and he still asking what I was sorry for. I rolled my eyes at him and didn't respond. "I asked a question"
"Never mind Le...sir" I was just about to call him Leo but I changed it immediately I just hope he didn't notice. I stared at him with my two eyes wide open waiting for him to react but he didn't, then I concluded that he didn't hear me.
"Okay, well since Renata didn't inform you of your duties as my personal maid I will" He was getting ready to overtake the red jeep at his front which had been making him slow down for some minutes now. The car turned left and my head moved along with he direction of the car, after he had successfully overtaken the car, the car move right with full speed causing me to hit my head on the window.
"Ouch!" I said i audibly squeezing my face in pain while I used my right hand to massage the spot I hit my head. He asked me if I was okay but I looked at him and didn't respond, shockingly he stretched out his hand and pat my hair gently before apologizing. "Was Leo really touching my hair? Unbelievable, what has suddenly come over him? "I thought. I was lost in my thoughts and didn't even realize hia han was still om my hair, and he was using only his left hand to drive. I quickly removed it but he was aware that I was going to remove his hand so his hand landed on my thigh. He quickly turned to look at me, I became frightened and speechless. He removed his hand and placed it on the steering. I swallow a gulp of saliva, I was thankful that he didn't react the way I had expected, it was relieving. We finally got to a house, it was quite big but it wasn't bigger than Leo' mansion. From the look of things, the people living here were also rich. I got down from the car observing the surrounding, I noticed there were lot of flowers around. I waited for Leo to be done with whatever he was still doing inside the car, he finally came out from the car and was heading to the door but I stood where I was. He turned back and saw I wasn't following him. Leo paused and placed his hand on his waist before biting his lower lip, he stared at me for some seconds. I looked away and folded my hands at my back.
"Come over here" Leo commanded, with an hoarse voice.
"Sir" I pretended not to hear what he had just said, I didn't want to go into the house with him. I preferred staying out here, not like I wanted to come in the first place and now he is forcing me to go with him. Instead of responding, Leo came over to where I was standing and grabbed my hands walking towards the door. I was starting to believe that Leo found pleasure in always grabbing my hands, but it was annoying and he needs to stop.
I followed him reluctantly with a frown on my face, at some point I reeled while I walked because it wa as if I was being dragged. Leo used his left hand to ring the bell, because he was holding me with his right hand. A young girl opened the door, she froze for some seconds when she saw us. She kept on looking at me strangely, her stares became inconvenient for me. I moved behind Leo to hide my face but he pushed me forward instead
"Would you let us go in? "Leo ask her when he not her mind was far away from her.
"Hm? Oh yeah, you can" She moved to the left giving us some space to pass through. The first thing I noticed was that the house was well furnished and there were lot of guard standing in every corner, they were all on black suit and black glasses. I became frightened when I saw one of them hand a gun, I moved closer to Leo immediately and I saw him smirked. Leo left my hand and sat down on the couch, I didn't know if I was to sit on another chair, but I guess I can sit beside him. I sat on the opposite couch, he crossed his leg and took out his phone from his breast pocket.
"Thanks for coming Leo, I really appreciate, really. " I moved my head a bit, trying to recall whose voice I just heard. I was sure that I have heard this voice before and might even know the person. The person footsteps were getting loud, I could tell the person was here. I was impatient to see who it was so I turned back to see who it was.
" Oh shit!, Jack? "I said out loud unknowingly, we looked confusingly at each other before looking at Leo who just stared at us with his leg crossed.
