ATTACK ON BLOOD MOON

LEO'S POV
Today is the day, the day Black Dragon was finally going to show the Blood Moon who the real bossed were, if everything goes as planned. My mind hadn't been at rest ever since Clara left my room, her words were like torments to me. For the first time, I was scared about going for an operation. I was restless because of the fear of not seeing someone anymore. "What if something goes wrong and I end up not coming back?" This question kept on repeating itself in my ears. I knew it was all because of Clara, but it was difficult to admit. I had been in my room the whole day, desperate to see Clara before leaving but she didn't come. Evening came sooner than I expected and it was time to strike. My guard came to check on me and we ended up leaving my room together, heading to the father's house where all our members were waiting patiently. By the time I got there, they were all set and we left after I gave certain instructions. We were dressed in black trousers, black shirts, and black shoes while some of my men who needed their identity to be a secret from non-member had a mask covering their faces.
I left with the twenty of my men who were going accompany me to the Black Moon mansion, while the others came their separate ways just as planned. Unlike the Blood Moon, we weren't searched when we got to the event. They definitely know of our plan to attack them tonight and were up to something which I was trying to figure out. I wonder why they were so confident and wouldn't even bother to search us, knowing full well that we had some weapons on us. When we got to the entrance, I saw their leader standing by the door, welcoming other guest who were coming in. He gave me an evil smile when our eyes met and we stared at each other until I got to where he was standing and I called out his name gently.
"Alexei"
"Welcome Donald" He extended his right hand for a shake, fully aware that I don't shake people. I ignored him and gave a shrug instead, walking in slowly with my right hand in my pocket. The party started few minutes after we entered, I saw Alexei instructing his men standing by the door to lock up and they did as he had told them. He had been smiling since we got here which I couldn't seem to figure out the reason, but one thing was clear. I and my men need to stay at alert. Alexei walked to the podium and gave an opening speech. He kept on talking about my presence and how he was thankful that I came. "Something was definitely off" I thought as my eyes move through every corners of the room.
" We would start with killing our enemies who thought we were dumb and wouldn't notice them."' I got confused at what I just my ears heard, my men were already ready to bring out their guns but after my signal for them to wait a little more, they obeyed and watched with rapt attention. To my greatest dismay, Alexei's men brought out my spies one after the other, they were badly injured due to the severe lashes they had received . It took me few seconds to realise that every guest in the hall were members of the Black Moon, I watched my spies get killed without reacting nor saying anything, all I could do was boil in anger and wait for the right time to strike. After they killed the six of my spies, Alexei instructed the slave to pass a cup of wine to every body for a toast, my men turned to look at me and I made them understand that they shouldn't drink it. " To the Black Moon victory tonight, cheers!" He said and looked at me, before calling me to join him on the podium.
" This was another of his plan" I thought, reluctant to walk to him, but what alternative do I have in order not to look worried and suspicious. I walked slowly to the podium with my left hand inside my pocket, holding my pistol. I needed to be ready for any unforseen event. When I got to the podium, Alexei began to talk about how our parent were good friends but we aren't because my pride. I forced out my hands from his and glared at him for a second, something was definitely off here. "Every body in this room , except my men are members of Blood Moon, he offered us a wine even though he knows we weren't going to drink it. Now he calls me to join him on stage. What are you planning Alexei?" I thought while he kept on blabbing. "Oh shit! " I whispered, bitting my lips in anger, wondering why I didn't think of looking round incase there was someone aiming a gun at me while I stood beside him. I raised my eyebrows up immediately, running my eyes through every hook and corner of the hall carefully. " Damn!" It was exactly as I was thinking. A tall masked man was standing at the back, he was literally aiming a snipper at me. I noticed that the Black Moon members were standing in a way that the bullet would get to me easily. My hands folded into a fist and I began to boil in anger. I was sure my men could see my reaction and facial expressions. I looked closely at the man with the gun and noticed that he wasn't actually pointing the gun at me but Alexei. I became confused and didn't understand their plans any longer. " Maybe that person wants Alexei dead so that he can become the leader of Black Moon." I thought with a confusing look on my face. Alexei tapped my shoulder and asked " What do you have to say about it?"
"Say about what?" I turned slowly to look at him, and that was when I saw another man
aiming a gun at me, he was standing very close to the stage. I could have brought out my gun and Kill him with just a shut, but I didn't want to strike first. "Time isn't on my side" I took a look at the other man standing at the back. He was about to pull the trigger, by now I was absolutely sure that it was Alexei he was going to shoot. I had my eyes fixed on him until he pulled the trigger. I rushed to push Alexei and we both fell on the fall. I had completely forgotten about the second man standing close to the stage, who was also pointing a gun at me. I stood up and turned swiftly to look at him. Rage and anger filled his eyes, he probably thought Alexei was dead as he was still lying on the floor. I tried to roll over to the end of the stage in order to prevent the bullet from touching me but it was too late. I felt a sharp pain pierce my right leg and blood began to gush out profusely. I crawled to the end of the stage as the man kept on shooting but luckily for me, none of the bullet touched me. One of my men rushed towards me and shot the man instantly. By now, Blood Moon and my men were exchanging bullet, I was worried because my men in here were few, the hall was literally full of Alexei's men. Things weren't going as planned and worst of all I had been shot on my leg. Alexei rose up and ordered his men to stop, a breath of relief pass through my mouth. All of a sudden some men began to barge in with weapons, they were all putting on red trouser and black shirt. "What? The Red devils? What are they doing here? " I thought, moving back to hide myself because of my leg.
Alexei brought out his gun on seeing Carlos, the leader of the Red Devils. Turns out they were also here to attack the Black Moon. One of my men sneakily ran to me and asked me what we were going to do. The Red Devils might have some other men outside, there was no way we were going to escape. Carlos walked confidently to the middle of the hall smiling profusely, while his men had a tight frown on their faces, walking slowly behind him. He stood in front of Alexei who was still holding his gun, Carlos told him to surrender while he was still asking, before he does what he intended. "Never! I would rather die than surrender to you mother fucker" Alexei seemed so confident, like he was going to defeat the Red Devils. Carlos laughed out loud, clapping his hands continuously while he looked round the hall. He began to move closer to one of my men.
"Are you a member of the Black Moon?" He asked looking at him from his head, down to his toe. "Black Dragon!" He shouted the moment he saw the sign on his belt. I could see fear in his eyes, his laugh suddenly turned to a frown.
