Chapter 17
The next day, Billy calculated the time Alison would come out of the alley after eating and signaled to his several bodyguards behind him.
The disguised bodyguards nodded in understanding and walked toward the depths of the alley.
Billy took a few puffs of his cigarette. Finally, after about ten minutes, he felt it was almost time and extinguished his cigarette before walking inside calmly.
Quite a few college students were coming over to eat at this time, so his men brought Alison to a secluded corner where their voices couldn't be heard through several walls.
He imagined Alison with disheveled clothes being pinned down by several men on the ground, and at her most desperate moment, he would appear like a god. She would look at him gratefully and admiringly with stars in her eyes.
To repay him for saving her life, she would offer herself up to him entirely from then on!
Billy smiled as he imagined this scene in his head.
As he approached, he heard sounds of fighting and muffled groans from men.
He was surprised when he saw what was happening before him - it wasn't Alison being beaten on the ground but rather his bodyguards. They lay writhing on the floor, holding their stomachs one by one, while Alison stood calmly with her right foot planted firmly on one man's chest. The wind seemed frozen around them all as she exuded an air of coolness that sent shivers down Billy's spine.
His bodyguards had been poorly beaten up; they looked bruised and battered. When they saw Billy approach them, they instinctively begged for mercy: "Mr. Hamilton! Save me!"
Billy's face changed suddenly upon seeing how coldly Allison looked at him - there was no mistaking that murderous glint in her eye!
His heart skipped a beat as he turned around to run away, but before long, someone grabbed his shoulder from behind and lifted him into the air. He spun about 360 degrees before crashing heavily onto the ground!
Billy saw many golden stars in front of his eyes.
The starlight flickered just like he had imagined it would.
...
The Hamilton family's private doctor was treating Billy's wounds when Selina called.
His face turned pale as he cut off his phone directly. He wiped away the blood on his lips with forceful fingers and cursed loudly: "Get lost!"
After speaking, Billy threw his phone to the ground.
The private doctor trembled, holding a cotton swab in shaking hands.
Billy felt like his chest was about to explode; he breathed heavily and vowed to take revenge for this, no matter what!
He definitely would!
...
On Saturday morning, Alison went to the Rosier family. Alexander didn't come back last night, and Ares forgot about time while playing games, so he wasn't up when Alison arrived. Emily also woke up late and hurriedly greeted Alison before leaving. Alison waited an hour before Ares appeared after washing up, having breakfast, and changing clothes. However, he kept their previous agreement and obediently listened to her teaching without delay or excuses.
As they were running an hour late, it was already noon by the time they finished their lesson. The maid came over with a message from Alison asking her to stay for lunch since Alexander wasn't home yet, but only Ares was there. She agreed to stay and have lunch with him.
Unexpectedly, just as they sat down to eat, Alexander returned! After the maid asked him questions, she found out he hadn't had his lunch yet, so she quickly prepared his utensils.
Alison stood up immediately upon seeing him return, saying, "Since Mr.Rosier is back now, you can have your meal with Ares instead of me."
Ares frowned at this sudden departure, "Are you afraid of him, or do you dislike him?"
Alison took a deep breath; did he think that giving him complex problems during class would lead to such retaliation? She glared at Ares, then turned around only to see Alexander looking at her, waiting for an answer.
He took off his suit jacket, which hung on his arm, revealing a blue-grey shirt underneath, unbuttoned two buttons showing off delicate collarbones and toned muscles.
Alison looked away gently, smiling, "Of course not; I respect Mr.Rosier."
Alexander seemed like he didn't want any trouble either, as he replied calmly, "You guys go ahead; I'll change my clothes upstairs first."
Although, as a guest, it would be more polite if everyone ate together once the host returned, Alison thought to herself. Ares didn't touch his chopsticks either.
As Alexander disappeared up the stairs, Alison couldn't help but mutter, "If you don't want me as your tutor, just say so; there's no need to be malicious."
Ares was embarrassed and said, "I'm sorry I didn't mean it that way."
Alison retorted, "You told me not to treat you like a child!"
Ares raised an eyebrow, "So if you don't treat me like one, then I won't act like one?"
Alison decided not to argue with him anymore.
"Fine, I won't scold you next time we play games!" Ares offered an olive branch of peace.
Alison put on a proud look." I already play very well!"
Ares replied thoughtfully, "Do you misunderstand the word 'well'?"
Alison was speechless...
While they were bickering, Alexander came down from upstairs wearing a casual white shirt and beige pants, making him look more elegant and slender.
He sat at the head of the long table, picking up his chopsticks and saying softly, "Miss Grey is having dinner here for the first time, so feel free to eat whatever suits your taste."
The kitchen had prepared two kinds of soup: seafood and duck. First, the maid asked what Alison wanted, who chose duck soup, which the maid served in front of her respectfully. Then both Alexander and Ares also ordered duck soup.
The three ate silently until Ares sipped his soup, asking Alexander casually, "Alexander, is my sister dating someone?"
"Hmm?" Alexander was surprised. How did he know?
Ares raised his eyebrows slightly, humming, "She disappears every weekend, and last night, I saw her talking on a terrace with such an expression."
Alison lowered her head, eating rice without making any sound. It seemed Emily was in love; she had seen them together at the school library a few days ago, whispering and laughing intimately.
Alexander's expression remained unchanged as he replied calmly, "Your sister is an adult now; it's normal for her to date. So don't worry about her, and take care of yourself."
"I don't need anyone to worry about me!" Ares muttered, then suddenly looked up at Alison, asking, "You're also an adult now. Are you dating?"
Cough! Alison choked on rice and quickly covered her mouth with a tissue looking at Ares, saying, "No."
"Then you should hurry up, or people will say you have no charm even in college," Ares said like an old man.
Alison squinted smilingly, "So what you mean is if I start dating, I won't have time to tutor you anymore, right?"
Ares shrugged his shoulders, "I didn't say that. I'm just concerned about your well-being."
Alexander suddenly remembered something as they continued bickering and glanced thoughtfully at Alison.
