Alexander also looked at Billy, relaxed and silent, as if waiting for Billy to call out his name.
Billy couldn't hold back the tension and forced a smile. "Another day, Alison and I will visit you in person!"
Linda walked over with a different look when she saw Alison - from hatred before to warmth now. She smiled and said, "So you're Mr Rosier's niece! What a big misunderstanding this was!"
"I didn't know that you were related to Mr. Rosier... Anyway, it was my fault."
Annabel also came over with sincere apologies. "I'm so sorry, Miss Alison!"
With just one word of "Alexander," everyone's attitude changed instantly.
Alison's gaze turned cold. "Annabel shouldn't call me Alison; she should address me as her ancestor."
Annabel turned pale!
She thought Alexander would support Linda and threaten Alison by calling her an ancestor if she didn't leave quietly. But little did she know that the person standing before them was Alexander's niece - much closer than Linda could ever be. And for some reason, Annabel felt like Alison had been targeting her all along - does Alexander's niece have feelings for Lucas?
Linda awkwardly laughed it off. "We were all angry earlier and said things we shouldn't have said. Please don't take offense, Miss Alison."
The matter was resolved now; Alexander calmly asked Alison: "Are you here to dine with friends?"
Alison nodded." Yes."
"Then go ahead; give me a call later." Alexander's magnetic voice remained low-pitched and pleasant as always.
"Okay then, I'll leave first!" Without looking at Billy again, Allison left Golden Elixir, with Hilda following closely behind while asking security personnel to withdraw.
