Chapter 19
Linda felt embarrassed by what she said, which was quite explicit. She intended to deny it but then changed her mind and smiled coyly, "I don't know why he likes me either?"
Alison turned her head to look at the woman named Linda. The one in blue clothes also remembered that she was a minor star named Annabel.
Annabel did not hide the envy on her face and said, "With Alexander, you can have whatever you want. Don't forget to help me when you become a movie queen."
Linda smiled reservedly and replied, "You don't need my help since you already have Lucas Sanderson."
Annabel's eyes flickered as she applied lipstick in front of the mirror and proudly said, "It took me so much effort to win Mr. Sanderson's heart. Now I can make demands from him."
Linda chuckled lightly and said, "Even if you didn't ask for anything from him, Mr. Sanderson would still give it to you!"
Annabel's lips were bright red as she pretended to be angry and said: "He only buys me jewelry and bags but refuses to give me a good role! Even for the last supporting actress role I got after spending all night coaxing him into agreeing!"
The private rooms in this store all had their bathrooms, so few people came there. They chatted freely for a while before they were about to leave when they heard a cold voice behind them say: "Stop right there!"
Both of them were startled and turned around abruptly. Behind them was an intricately carved wooden door that went up to the ceiling. This was their first time coming here, so they needed to understand its structure; they thought it was just a wall and hence spoke without any reservations - little did they know that it was a door.
They looked at each other, not knowing how much Alison had heard. Annabel spoke first, "Who are you?"
Alison looked closer and coldly at Annabel, "Are you really with Lucas Sanderson?"
Annabel was relieved she wasn't in trouble but one of the many women who admired Lucas. She rolled her eyes and crossed her arms over her chest, "What's it to you? Mr. Sanderson hates being pestered, so don't bother me, or else if he sees us together later on, I won't be able to help you!"
Alison raised an eyebrow and asked: "Is he here?"
Annabel sneered, "Yes! Mr. Sanderson brought me here for dinner."
"Take me to see him!" Alison demanded.
Annabel laughed disdainfully, "And who are you exactly?"
Without hesitation, Alison grabbed her collar and pulled open the door while dragging Annabel out. Annabel was frightened and stumbled behind Alison; she was 1.7 meters tall, which made her slightly more elevated than Alison, but she had no strength to resist Alison's hands.
"Let go of me! Let go!" Annabel tried hitting Alison with the bag in her hand.
Alison's eyes were cold as ice as she threw Annabelle against the wall causing her head to hit it hard, resulting in a scream before collapsing onto the ground.
Linda couldn't move quickly due to a leg injury but caught up slowly, reaching out towards Allison's arm while shouting angrily: "Who are you? Let go of her!"
Allison shook off Linda's hand, causing Linda to stumble backward into the wall screaming. Linda's agent ran over, helping Linda stand up while yelling furiously: "Where is security? Come on, people!"
The store's security guards and passing waiters all rushed over, blocking Allison, saying: "Missy, regardless of what happened earlier, you can't hurt people here. Otherwise, we will call the police!"
Robert Clerk looked at the chaos before him, asking in shock, "What's going on?"
Linda burst into tears and shook her head weakly. "I don't know either. Annabel and I were having dinner here when that lady came over and started hitting people for no reason."
Robert Clerk's gaze darkened as he whispered, "Mr. Rosier is also dining here. I'll go inform him."
Since Alexander arranged for Linda to be there, Robert Clerk assumed that Linda had a relationship with Alexander. However, now that Linda was injured again, Robert Clerk felt it necessary to inform Alexander.
When Linda heard that Alexander was there too, her eyes lit up. "Mr. Rosier is here?"
"Yes, I'll be right back!"
Robert Clerk glanced at Alison not far away before turning around and walking quickly toward Alexander's private room.
Alison turned around and left Annabel aside with an icy tone, "You went to find someone? I'm waiting!"
"What happened?" The waiter briefly explained the situation, but they didn't understand why; they only knew that Alison had injured Annabel.
...
Robert Clerk found the private room and knocked on the door before entering under everyone's gaze. He approached Alexander and whispered lowly," Mr. Rosier, can you come out for a moment?"
"What's wrong?" asked Alexander.
"Miss Morgan has been beaten up by someone who won't let go," replied Robert Clerk.
Alexander raised his ink-like long eyes slightly as he asked calmly, "Who did it?"
"I'm not sure, but she seems quite arrogant," said Robert Clerk shaking his head.
Alexander nodded, then stood up from his seat, heading outside, followed by Robert's clerk shortly after.
Billy squinted his eyes, saying, "It's Mr. Rosier's woman? Then I have to take a look! A woman who makes Mr. Rosier so nervous must be wonderful!"
