Chapter 20
"What's going on?" Alexander asked, looking across the room. When he saw Alison, his eyes narrowed slightly.
Billy walked over with a smirk and went straight to Alison's side. He looked at her up and down with concern and said, "Baby, are you hurt? If you lose a single hair, I'll ensure they all fall out!"
As soon as he finished speaking, Linda and Annabel's faces changed. They looked ugly and embarrassed, with hatred in their eyes. They wanted nothing more than to tear Alison apart.
Alison took a deep breath. She didn't know what Billy was up to before, but now she understood he was using this opportunity to get back at her!
Only Alexander remained calm among the crowd with deep-set eyes that revealed nothing of what he was thinking. There was a three-second silence in the corridor until Alexander suddenly walked towards Alison and stopped before her.
He lowered his gaze to look at her and spoke gently: "You see me here but don't say hello?"
Everyone was shocked again - did she know Alexander too?
Alison looked into his eyes without hesitation and said, "Alexander!"
Everyone else: "......!"
Billy's smirk slowly faded as he turned abruptly towards Alison.
Alison smiled faintly at Billy as she introduced him: "Just call him Alexander too!"
Billy: "......"
