Chapter 29 - Remember how I made you feel

As Adalyn stood there frozen, she felt soft familiar kisses down the side of her neck. As he leaned in to her side, his loose black hair tickled the side of her face and the familiar peppermint and oak scent aroused her senses.

“Kai?” She asked with a huge smile on her face. She already knew who it was.

“Were you expecting somebody else?” he whispered against her neck.

Adalyn giggled “No, I didn’t realise you were back.”

“I came straight here.” Kai continued showering feather soft kisses down the side of her neck. Adalyn struggled to hold back a moan of pleasure in her voice. Realising how loud she was and that her aunt was downstairs she tried to step out of his arms, but Kai immediately pulled her back against him so he could continue kissing her neck.

“Kai, my aunt is downstairs. She’ll hear us,” she said in a low voice.

“Then you better be quiet then…” Kai answered with a hint of mischief in his voice before he continued kissing her. Adalyn could feel his hardness pressing in to her from behind. He was feeling as aroused as she was. She leaned her head right back to offer him full access to her neck.

“That’s my girl. You smell like heaven.” Kai raked his canines against her throat.

Adalyn’s wolf purred inside her at the attention she was getting from her mate and Adalyn involuntarily growled out loud surprising both her and Kai.

“Your wolf is back?” Kai lifted his lips for a moment to ask.

“Uh Huh…” Adalyn replied with her eyes still closed. “Wait a sec.” Adalyn stilled. “Is Arrow still around?” she asked suspiciously.

Kai stopped what he was doing and flipped her around to face him.

“I’m kissing you and you mention another man’s name?” His beautiful blue eyes stared in to her green ones with displeasure. Even annoyed he looked sexy.

Adalyn rolled her eyes. “I mean is he watching us?” She remembered back to when Kai had dropped her back home and Arrow had caught them making out in the forest.

“Why would he be watching us in here?” Kai asked her puzzled.

“You had him watching me whilst you were away, no?” Adalyn followed up.

“I had him keeping a lookout to make sure nobody suspicious approached you, but that doesn’t include spying in to your bedroom Adalyn. Why on earth would I get him to do that??”

“Oh!” Adalyn replied. “I guess that makes sense, it just when he came in here the other day I thought he might have been under your instruction.”

“He came in to your bedroom?” Kai’s eyes flashed black. This was his mate’s private space.

“I just had to ask him something and he came in.”

“And you just let him in?!” Kai responded.

Adalyn had inadvertently triggered him by saying that. All of the sexual energy from earlier was disappearing faster than a speeding bullet.
“Relax, it was just to talk to him.” Adalyn stepped in to Kai’s space and wrapped her hand behind his neck to try and placate him. “Are you okay?” she asked him cautiously. She could tell he was a bit on edge and it most likely wasn’t purely to do with Arrow being in her room and that he might still be on edge from fighting earlier.

Kai looked at her curiously, realising he had worried her. “Hmm... I will be in a sec.” He pulled her in closer and started kissing her. The sexual energy came flooding back just as quickly as it left.

Kai probed her lips with his tongue and as soon as she opened her mouth, his tongue started wrestling with hers. Adalyn moaned in acceptance. Kai laid up alongside her and resumed kissing her on the mouth. With one of his hands, he started unbuttoning her top. He ran his thumb across the remnants of his earlier bite. It had nearly disappeared. Kai undid a few more buttons on her top to reveal her white bra.

Kai withdrew his mouth from her lips and then started kissing down the front of her chest until he got to her bra. He kissed the exposed bit of skin there and Adalyn wriggled against him. Once he got to the cups of her bra, he pushed the material down and under her breasts which forced them up and outwards. They heaved out and her small brown nipples stood up to attention.

Kai sucked in a breath through his teeth excitedly. Seeing her partially exposed like that and with the sultry expression on her face made his cock throb.
