Be my girlfriend

Grey's words made Laura shiver. She fixed her gaze on the counter. Immediately Stella and Miami both averted their gazes and immersed themselves in their work.

"Traitors," Laura mumbled and gazed at Grey, who was smirking at her expression.

"Ms Laura… I need just five minutes." "Let's have a friendly talk." Grey pointed to the seat in front of him. Laura, who was rebellious, sat in front of Grey obediently. Grey scanned her. He didn't spot the locket on her neck, which made him disappointed.

"You can have it. I ordered it for you." Grey moved the coffee cup towards Laura.

"No Thanks… "I am fine," Laura mumbled. Gray nodded his head and started to sip his coffee while staring at her intensely.

On the other hand, Laura, who was aware of his gaze, tried to read his mind. But she couldn't. She was shocked to realize that she was not able to read his mind. She averted her gaze toward the coffee cup. Her face flushed as his gaze pierced her. She felt her throat getting dry. Laura immediately gulped down the coffee despite its heat. Grey widened his eyes in shock. But Laura, who was unaware of his thoughts, tried to quench her thirst with the coffee.

"You!!!" Grey pointed to the cup in disbelief. Immediately, Laura gazed at the cup in confusion.

"How did you do that? The coffee is so hot. How did you drink it like that?" Grey blurted out his disbelief. Laura closed her eyes realizing her stupidity.

"It's not that hot," she mumbled. Grey was not convinced by her explanation, but noticing that she was fine, he felt relieved.

"What do you need to speak about?" Laura asked immediately before he could question her again.

"Ms Laura Knight "Let me be frank." Grey gazed at Laura after letting out a deep breath. Then he held Laura's hand in his.

"Be my girlfriend," Grey said, tightening his hold on her. Laura widened her eyes in shock. She gazed at their intervening hands. She felt an unknown force revolving around them. She immediately retrieved her hand. Grey frowned.

"Mr Flexis... Enjoy your coffee." Laura stood up from her chair after glaring at Grey. She then prepared to go back to the counter. But Grey held her hand.

"Laura, give me an answer." Gray's soft voice pulled Laura into a dilemma. Did she wish for all these? No, she needed to return to her world. It was not for a human.

"Mr Flexis… I think you got an answer from my behaviour. "Still, I can give you the answer." She said it in a cold voice. Grey stared at Laura.

"It's a big no from my side," Laura said in a low voice. Her objection made Grey retrieve his hand from her.

"Laura… " Grey tried to say something. But Laura stopped him.

"Mr Flexis… We can't be together. We two are from different worlds. So... sorry," said Laura. Grey guessed that she was speaking about their status.

"But… Laura… I can give you some time to think about it." Grey said it with hope. Laura smirked.

"Nothing is going to change, Mr Flexis. I don't need a boyfriend now," Laura said.

"Then... Come, let's get married." Grey dragged Laura out of the cafe. Laura, who was shocked by his actions and words, unknowingly followed him. Reaching the car, she got her senses back.

"Leave me." She forcefully took her hands back and stepped two steps back from Grey.

"What the hell are you doing?" Screamed Laura.

"Laura, you said that you don't want a boyfriend. That's fine… So let's get married. So I can be your husband." Grey expressed his thoughts. Laura rolled her eyes hearing him. Was he stupid or he was acting as stupid?

"No... you are a stranger to me. I don't like people who force me to do something. So just get out of here." Laura yelled and walked back into the cafe. Grey stood leaning towards the car, watching her back.

"Do you think I will stop persuading you? Until a few minutes ago, I didn't know what I was here for. But now I know the reason… it's you… I need you… I am here for you, Laura," Grey shouted. Laura was shocked to hear him. She turned and gazed at Grey. Immediately, Grey flashed a cute smile.

"By the way, where is your locket?" Suddenly, Grey's question left Laura stunned.

"What do you mean?" Laura whispered. Grey walked to her with a grin on his face.

"You have a clear icy jade pendant with a leopard head accent, right? Where is that?" His question shocked her. Unknowingly, her hands went to her neck, which was bare. Noticing her action, Grey intensified his eyes on her.

"No... "I don't have such a locket." She denied. Grey chuckled.

"I believed that." He said. Then he walked towards his car and drove off. Laura, who heard Grey, noticed that he went off. It was clear that he didn't believe her. Cursing her stupidity, she walked into the cafe.

"Don't you guys have any work?" Laura yelled at Stella and Miami, who were eagerly watching the whole scene. Immediately, both girls ran back to the counter. Laura took her car key and drove to the clifftop.

Grey grinned widely, remembering her cute expressions. It was clear that she was trying to avoid him. And she panicked when he asked about the locket. Grey believed that there was something that was off with her behaviour.

He never thought that he would be this bold toward a girl. But seeing her, he felt she was the one he needed. A voice repeatedly whispered in his ears the name "Laura." That's why he asked her to be his girlfriend and then to be his wife.

Parking his car in the courtyard, Grey walked with a smile on his lips. Ben was shocked to notice Grey who was walking without even realizing his presence. Suddenly his thoughts went to Luka, who told him about Grey having a girlfriend.

"Maybe Luka is right. I didn't see Young Master this happy for a long time," Ben confirmed in his mind.

Grey, who was unaware of his surroundings, headed directly to the stairs. But…

"Grey..." immediately, Grey gazed at Daisy, who was looking at him in surprise. He smiled, but immediately it was replaced with shock after noticing the person sitting along with Daisy.

"Jessica…" Grey whispered, staring at Jessica, who was smiling widely at him.
