Hiding from him

Immediately, Laura opened her eyes and pushed Grey, who was kissing her like a hungry wolf. Grey was shocked by her action, yet he kept himself from hitting his head on the car window.

Laura opened the door and stepped into the rain. Meanwhile, Grey cursed himself for losing control. Still, he felt happy about noticing her positive response. He stepped out of the car and hugged Laura, who was drenched in rain. Laura closed her eyes, feeling his warmth, but soon she pushed him. Gray stumbled in his steps.

"Laura…" Grey tightened his hold on her.

"Leave me…" Laura mumbled, closing her eyes. But Grey did not intend to leave her hand.

"I said... leave me!" yelled Laura. She then jerked her hand away and glared at Grey.

"Don't ever meet me again... I hate you," Laura screamed and walked towards the car. Soon she drove away, leaving Grey in the rain. As she left, Grey chuckled.

"Laura, you are lying to yourself. Why did you cry if you hate me? I felt the same pain you felt while denying your feelings to me," Grey murmured. Laura thought that he couldn't find her tears because of the rain. But she was wrong. He knew that she was denying him and hiding her pain.

"Why? Why are you hiding from me?" Grey gazed at the car, which was speeding into the dark. Slowly, the rain stopped.

Soon, a car stopped in front of him. Ben was surprised to see Grey, who was drenched in rain. Noticing Ben, Grey entered the car. Ben handed Grey a towel and stared at him in disbelief.

"What!!!" Grey gazed at Ben, noticing his stare.

"Truly, Ms Knight is fierce... Dare to abandon you in the middle of the road." Ben chuckled and ignited the engine. A light smile appeared on Grey's lips, which was noted by Ben.

Meanwhile, Laura accelerated her car towards the cliff top. Tears streamed from her eyes. Parking her car, she fled into the dense forest. As the cold wind slammed her skin, she began to revamp into a wolf. Her painful roar caused the thick bushes to shiver in dismay. At last, she smashed into the rock. She took a deep breath and gazed at the stars that shone brightly in the sky.

Immediately, her heart was filled with Grey's thoughts and his kiss. His confession made her heart fill with happiness. But soon it was replaced with pain.

"Is this love? I feel something new in me," Laura whispered, with tears following out from her red eyes. Her white fur was soaked in tears. She closed her eyes and drifted into a deep sleep.

Next few days, Laura spent most of her time on the cliff top. She was afraid to meet Grey. So she began to hide from him. Meanwhile, Grey tried to meet her but couldn't find her. Jessica tried to communicate with Laura, but she was stubborn enough to avoid Jessica.

"Laura…" Jessica started to bang on the door. After a long time, Laura opened the door.

"What is it, Jess?" Laura smiled at Jessica.

"What's your plan, Laura?" "Are you planning to run away from your feelings?" Yelled Jessica.

"Feelings? What do you mean?" Laura walked back to her bed.

"Don't you know that Grey loves you?" Jessica asked, stepping into the room. Laura chuckled and took a book. She ignored Jessica and started to read it.

"Laura… I am speaking to you." Jessica pulled the book and threw it away. Laura sighed.

"So what… Let him love whomever he wants. That's not my concern. He is no one for me," Laura said in a calm voice.

"Laura, don't be stubborn." Jessica held Laura's hand. Laura smiled at Jessica and removed Jessica's hand.

"Jess, let's go to the cafe. I will be back after changing my dress." Laura walked into the bathroom, giving Jessica a wide smile.

"Laura… your smile seems fake…" Jessica murmured.

Closing the door, Laura leaned against the door. Was she okay? No, she misses him. She just needed to see him, but she was stopping herself from thinking about him. Still, she can feel his touch and scent. She knew that she was cheating herself, but there was no way to accept her feelings.

Arriving at Blue Moons Jessica moved to park the car while Laura walked into the cafe. Suddenly, a familiar scent stopped her steps. Her eyes filled with tears, but soon she gulped them down and walked inside with a smile on her lips.

"Laura, you are here." Stella was surprised to see Laura, who had been missing for days. Laura smiled at Stella, which made everyone look at her in shock. Usually, she would be cold to everyone, but now she was giving them a different feeling.

"Good evening, Stella," Laura immediately greeted her and moved to the counter. She was aware of the intense stare but didn't intend to look in the direction where she was getting attracted.

Noticing that Stella had prepared an order, Laura took the initiative to serve it.

"Table 6," Stella notified Laura. Immediately Laura walked in the direction of table 6. But as she neared the familiar scent, it blew her hard. Comprehending that she was walking toward Grey, she stifled her emotions. She started to place the coffee mugs on the table. After placing the four mugs, Laura excused herself. But…
