I love you

As Amelia appeared in the cafe. Laura just behaved as normal to her. But as Laura served her the coffee Amelia asked Laura to occupy the seat "Well… we should talk".

"I should thank you for that day." Smiled Amelia and gazed at Laura who was calm. Laura pierced at Amelia. Immediately Laura smirked.

"Ms Amelia… I am sure you are not up to any good." Laura mumbled. Stella laughed out loud.

"Yes… I need you to know your place." Amelia said.

"My place?" Laura gazed at the surroundings and then turned her attention to Amelia.

"I know my place better than anyone else, Miss Amelia," Laura smirked.

"No… you don't!!" Suddenly Amelia slammed her hands on the table in anger. The customers and staff stared at Amelia in surprise. Miami, who noted Amelia's presence, immediately informed Jessica about her arrival.

"Look here… don't cross in my path. If you do, I will show who I am." Amelia lowered her voice and threatened Laura.

"Miss Amelia… whoever you may, it doesn't matter to me. This place belongs to me so don't show your stature here. I won't slide it down." Laura said without hesitating.

"And I believe you didn't forget our first meeting," Laura smirked at Amelia. Immediately Amelia gulped.

"I just need you to leave Grey. " Amelia cooled herself remembering their previous encounter.

"What?" Laura gazed at Amelia in confusion.

"Look… Grey And I are getting married soon. So please don't disturb him anymore. " Amelia announced. Laura was shocked. She tried to find the authenticity of the news but she couldn't even concentrate on Amelia as her mind became chaotic hearing the wedding news.

"Miss Knight… I am telling you the truth." Amelia soon took out a few photos from her bag and placed them on the table.

"I guess you got it now." Amelia raised her head with a proud face. Amelia noticed Laura's intense gaze on the photos.

Laura was shocked to see many photos. Some photos are of Grey hugging Amelia and other images were taken at Wilfred's funeral. The photos indeed announced that both were close.

Laura's heart was crushed into pieces yet she maintained a cool mode. Laura sneered at Amelia.

"Grey has a very important meeting today. After that, we are heading to London. We are getting engaged there. Soon the marriage is going to take place too. So I think you won't enter into our life again." Amelia said equally with happiness at times with hope at Laura.

"Miss Amelia… I don't know why you are showing all these to me. I know Mr Flexis just as a customer here. Not more than that. Just leave with your illogical findings. And congratulations on your wedding." Laura smiled and threw the photos to Amelia's side.

"Thank you, Ms Knight. I appreciate your sense." Immediately Amelia's face lightened up and smiled widely.

"I am a little bit busy. So I think I can take a leave." Laura said and walked to the counter. Soon Amelia walked out with a winning smile. Jessica who parked her car saw Amelia who was walking into her car. Immediately Jessica let out a relieved breath. As entering the cafe she saw Laura who was busy with her work. Jessica moved out of the cafe and proceeded to her car.

Laura, who was immersed in her work, suddenly flinched from her action. Amelia's words started to reply in her mind.

Amelia informed her that Grey was going to London. Laura held her locket in her hand. what if he didn't come back? Will she be able to see him again? Can she ask his forgiveness for murdering his dad? Won't the guilt follow her throughout her life? All these thoughts made Laura walk towards her car. Just she had to meet him and repent for everything before she went away from this world. Soon she arrived at Flex group.

"Hi… can I meet Mr Flexis?" Laura's question made the receptionist narrow her brows.

"Mam… sorry you can't … sir is in an important meeting and then he is going to London. So you won't get an appointment today." Immediately the receptionists denied her need.

Laura felt like her soul was being taken away. Hearing the same news that Amelia informed her made Laura shed silent tears.

"Okay fine," Laura said and walked out. But she stopped and turned to the large building.

"No… I should meet him. At least I should apologize to him." Laura murmured to herself. She concealed herself and walked to the elevator. Noticing the president's office at the top she entered the elevator and was relieved from her form. As she came out of the elevator she saw many rooms. Confused She started to concentrate on his scent. Grey's fragrance hit her from the conference room. As nearing the room her heart began to bleed even more. The pressure she held in her heart for days started to flow out as his scent hit her harder.

As standing out of the room she sniffed his smell. Suddenly her locket started to beam in blue. Laura held the handle and opened it. She gazed at the dark room. The only light was from the projector. Grey who was talking suddenly stopped his words and gazed at the door. Soon Laura's eyes locked with Grey who was looking at her in shock. Her pendant started to ignite blue rays as Grey's eyes landed on her. Laura sensed tears streaming out of her eyes.

Immediately Laura ran to Grey. As she neared him she jumped up to him and hugged him tightly. Grey stood numb as her hands encircled his neck and her legs gripped his waist. Suddenly the lights switched on and the faces that were watching the scene were relieved.

Everyone sat senseless noticing a girl hugging Grey. Meanwhile, Xavier and Stella who were also attending the meeting closed their mouths in shock. Amelia clenched her fist in anger.

"Grey… I love you…" Laura's voice echoed throughout the room making everyone gasp.
