Furious Laura

"Wait..." A sudden voice of a girl made her steps halt. She scanned the table. The table was filled with four people. She saw Grey, who was staring at the mug, and a young man was seated next to him. The young man was looking at her as if he knew her. Reading his mind, she confirmed it was Grey's assistant.

She then travelled her eyes to the other side. Her eyes caught the sight of a young girl who was dressed in a midnight blue top that revealed most of her cleavage. The girl's face was sealed with thick makeup. Next to her, a man in his 40s was seated. The girl's image didn't satisfy Laura, yet she controlled herself.

"Yes, Mam… Would you like to order anything else?" Hiding her anger, Laura smiled.

"Don't you know how to serve coffee? Who will add sugar to this?" The girl yelled at Laura. Immediately, the whole cafe's attention turned to their table. Laura stared at the girl to read her mind. Laura understood that the girl was trying to entice Grey to her by using Laura. Stella gulped, noticing Laura, who was quiet. She rushed towards the table in panic.

"Sorry, Mam… I will do it." Stella apologised and tried to add sugar to the cup. But…

"She should do this. It's my order." The girl snapped. Grey tightened up his hold on the cup upon hearing the girl. Luka felt Grey's veins popping out. But Laura's calm voice made Grey stop himself.

"Stella, you can go. I am fine," Laura smirked and gazed at Stella.

"Laura…" Stella hesitated. But Laura nodded her head and said that she was fine. Glancing at Grey, Stella reluctantly walked to the counter.

"What are you waiting for? Keep your attitude away and just do your job." The girl ordered. Nodding her head in understanding Laura started to add sugar.

"Done… Here is your coffee, Madam." Laura placed the cup in front of the girl. Immediately, the girl took a sip. But soon she spat up the coffee.

"What the hell is this? Is this coffee? Is this how you serve coffee to your customers?" The girl yelled at Laura. Grey, who didn't like the girl's attitude, frowned. Moreover, Laura's silence surprised him.

"Ms Amelia… "Please don't create a noise here," Grey warned. Yet the girl didn't get the gist of his words. As he initiated a talk, Amelia started to try even harder to gain his attention. She had been trying to persuade him for hours, but he was only interested in talking about business. So she tried to gain his attention by using her riches and status.

"Grey... you are a soft-hearted person. Don't fall into the trap of these sluts. They will make rich people fall into their trap with their sweet smiles. As a friend, I am warning you not to fall for it," Amelia warned Grey by glaring at Laura. Immediately Laura chuckled, which made Amelia feel annoyed. Meanwhile, Grey's ears started to turn red due to anger. How dare Amelia call Laura a slut?

"Look at her... didn't I tell you... She is so confident in herself. This is what I said. Don't fall for their beauty." Amelia openly accepted that Laura looked beautiful. From the time Laura entered the cafe, Amelia noticed Grey, who was staring at Laura without even blinking. She felt offended by his ignorance. Moreover, he was staring at a waiter in the cafe from the time she arrived. So Amelia tried to humiliate Laura in front of Grey.

Both Grey and Laura understood that Amelia was creating a scene. Even though Grey wanted to interfere, he calmed himself and watched what Laura was up to. Again her silence surprised him.

Laura, who had been listening to Amelia, grinned widely and pulled a chair from the nearby table. Laura sat in the chair elegantly with a smirk on her face. Amelia was shocked by her attitude.

"You are dead, young lady," murmured Stella with a smirk, who was watching the fierce Laura.

"Ahh… so… Madam... didn't like our coffee. Then… We should rectify our mistakes… as this Blue Moon is one of the most popular cafes in New York City. That's my responsibility to check out as this place belongs to me" Laura said, smiling at Amelia. Amelia was shocked at Laura's words. Grey's face lightened up immediately, noticing the fierce Laura back in action.

Before Amelia could comprehend the words, Laura's next action made her hold the chair in outrage.

Laura took Grey's coffee mug and took a few sips of coffee. Everyone was shocked. Grey stared at Laura. He never expected her to taste his coffee.

"Hey… Handsome… Your coffee tastes sweet." Laura held Grey's tie and pulled him closer to her. Laura dared to flirt with Grey. Grey stared at her eyes in disbelief. Was he dreaming? Did Laura hit her head somewhere? All these thoughts made him numb. Meanwhile, the whole place stood stunned, noticing Laura and Grey, who were staring at each other. Their faces were a few inches closer.

Amelia, who felt humiliated by Laura's action, shivered in anger.

"Whatever, Miss... Your actions have just proved my point. What else is there to say? Your parents are to blame for educating their daughters to seduce rich men. Who knows which slut gave birth to you?" Amelia smirked and gave a proud smile, thinking that she had embarrassed Laura. But…

Abruptly Just like a breeze, a force pushed Amelia against the wall. Everyone stood stunned, not realising what was going on. Jessica tried to stop Laura, but the force that was emanating from Laura made Jessica back her steps. Jessica panicked. If she doesn't stop Laura, then the consequences will be severe. Jessica gazed at Grey, who was still in shock. Jessica realised that Laura could only be controlled by Grey.

"Grey… please… stop her… or else she will kill that girl. Please…" Jessica pleaded.

Immediately Grey came back to sense. He saw Laura tightening her grip on Amelia's neck. He rushed to Laura and held her hand. Suddenly Laura gazed at Grey. Grey was shocked to see her eyes twinkling in red. He blinked, but instantly her eyes turned normal. Grey was confused. He brushed up his thoughts, thinking he was mistaken.

"Laura… leave her…" Gray's voice calmed Laura. Instantly, Laura released Amelia. Amelia fell to the floor. Soon, Luka and the other man supported Amelia.

"My mom… she is pure..." Tears gushed out of Laura's eyes. Immediately, Grey hugged her.

"It's okay… don't cry…" Grey calmed her. Jessica felt relieved after noticing Laura's powers eased. Jessica moved to Amelia, who was unconscious. Jessica instructed Stella to bring a glass of water. She held Amelia's hand. Slowly, Jessica started to heal Amelia, not alerting the crowd. As Stella approached with water, Jessica sprinkled water on Amelia's face. Soon Amelia woke up, but she noticed Grey comforting Laura. Immediately, Amelia clenched her fist to control her anger.
