Stella's Secret

Xavier gulped the wine. Laura was shocked by his sudden kiss. Meanwhile, Stella, who heard their conversation, wiped her tears. Then she walked into the room and opened the door. She sat beside Laura.

"Ahhh… here comes my beauty…" mumbled Xavier pointing at Stella. Immediately Stella smacked Xavier's back.

"Ahh…" cried Xavier, squeezing Laura's arm.

"Stella… relax…" Laura held Stella back.

"Laura… Are you supporting him? Do you know what he did… he blackmailed me and made me his secretary. Since that day I was waiting for an opportunity to whip him." Glared Stella at Xavier.

"He did what!!!" Exclaimed Laura.

"Don't waste your time chasing something far away. First, try to keep it close to you so you don't have to waste the time chasing it down… this is what you…" Xavier continued to mumble those words. Suddenly Laura closed his mouth.

"Xavier… you look tired… just sleep for a while…" Laura held his head and secured it in her lap. She let out a relieved breath and gazed at Stella who was wondering what he meant.

"Stella… he is drunk… let him sleep for some time," Laura said, creasing his hair. Stella nodded her head and took a sip of wine.

"Mom" suddenly Xavier mumbled holding Laura's hand. Laura widened her eyes in shock. Stella dropped the wine in surprise.

"Mom… I missed you…" Xavier kissed Laura's hand and slept peacefully hugging her arms. Immediately Stella laughed hard, noticing Laura who was looking at Xavier in shock.

"Idiot… don't laugh." Laura hit Stella's hand. Stella controlled her laugh.

"Surely… he is smitten with you," Stella said.

"What do you mean?" Laura raised her brows.

"Laura… I meant that he likes you a lot. From our school days, he used to come behind you. I used to think that he had feelings for you. But to my surprise, he used to say that you are his best friend. He was so sure about it." Said Stella smiling at Xavier.

"Do you know one of my secrets? I love him. I am madly in love with him. But… those events made a change in everything." Stella's eyes filled with tears.

"Stella… he is innocent." Laura tried to convince Stella.

"I know… I heard your conversation." Stella whispered.

"I am aware of his feelings and even I couldn't resist his presence. That's why I agreed to be his Secretary when he threatened me." Stella smiled sadly.

"But… Laura… My mom won't agree with this. She is still angry towards Uncle and Xavier. Moreover, Uncle Peter is adding fuel to her anger." Stella added.

"Stella… don't worry. Everything will be fine. Stick to Xavier. That's what you need to do now. He will save you." Laura held Stella's hand to give her courage.

"Laura… you changed a lot. You just wasted our days by ignoring us. Don't do that anymore." Stella gazed at Laura. Suddenly Laura's face changed. She was aware of it. But was there a choice for her? It will be painful for her when she goes back. Yet she smiled at Stella.

"I am sorry Stella for being rude to you guys. I won't anymore." Laura said.

"Come… let's go." Laura initiated to go back. Stella nodded her head and gazed at Xavier.

"What can we do with him?" Stella pointed at Xavier. Laura gazed at Xavier who was sleeping peacefully holding her hand.

"Let's ask the people from the bar to take him out," Laura said. Stella stepped out of the room to summon someone to help them.

"Xavi… I don't intend to hurt you. But it was my situation that made me behave rudely to you. I failed to notice your care and love. I don't know when I need to leave this world. But… I will try to make good memories with you guys and keep that close to my heart. I will never forget you. Thank you for everything." Laura creased his head as tears dropped down.

Soon after Stella came back they proceeded to the car. Securing Xavier to the passenger seat Stella gazed at Laura.

"Laura… get in… I will drop you at a cafe," Stella advised. But Laura declined the offer and she assured Stella that she was fine to get a taxi. Soon Stella drove out of the bar.

Stella gazed at Xavier who was sleeping peacefully. She smiled.

"Mom…" again he whispered. Stella felt a pain in his words. Soon she drove into his apartment. She opened the door and took him to the elevator. She supported him in the elevator. She cursed him for drinking. As the elevator stopped on his floor Stella took him to his apartment.

"Sir… password…" Stella patted his shoulder. Suddenly he stood straight and gazed at her. Then he blinked to get a clear view of a blurred figure. As he understood that it was Stella he smiled at her with a trembling leg.

"Dear Secretary… Am I fine?" He pointed to himself and asked Stella.

"You are very fit and fine sir. Now please open the door." Stella said in irritation.

"You can open. It's your job." Xavier grinned widely. Stella rolled her eyes and moved to the door.

"Tell me the password." She gritted her teeth. Suddenly Xavier hugged her from behind.

"It's your birthday," Xavier whispered in her ears. Stella stiffened her body as his hot breath fell on her. She tilted her head to avert him. But suddenly Xavier's lips brushed her neck. Stella immediately typed the password. As soon as the door opened Xavier pushed Stella inside and closed the door.

Stella, who was shocked, gulped, noticing Xavier's eyes on her. As he walked to her she clutched her frock in nervousness. Xavier cupped her face in his hand.

"Stella… I…" he gazed into her eyes. Immediately Stella sealed his lips. Xavier, who was shocked by her action, unknowingly started to respond. Soon he began to dominate their kiss. Being drunk and immersed in pleasure Xavier failed to notice the tears that were flowing out of her eyes. Yet she controlled her emotions and let her guard down for him… no… for her…

Stella opened her eyes and gazed at Xavier who was sleeping peacefully hugging her. She kissed his forehead and soon picked her clothes from the floor. Wearing it she gazed at Xavier and smiled. But tears flowed out of her eyes.

"Xavier… I love you…" she mumbled and immediately walked out of his apartment.
