I am Waiting

"I am sorry… I have some work… I will be back soon…" she murmured, securing Grey in bed. She stared at his face and kissed his forehead. Stepping back she sealed the bed under her magical spell.

Opening the bedroom door she saw that the house was dark. She walked downstairs after sealing the bedroom door. As she neared the living room the aroma that pierced her nose made her smirk.

"It's been a long time since I basked in human blood. Let's enjoy today's meal." Laura murmured to herself.

"Would you enjoy the meal alone? traitor… I need my portion too." Jessica whispered in her ears.

"You are here?" Laura grinned, scanning Jessica's invisible silhouette.

"Yup… shouldn't I? At least to watch your show." Jessica whispered.

"Yes… you should…" Laura agreed with a node.

"What about Grey? Did you seal him?" Jessica enquired.

"He is fine. Let's get into business now." Laura murmured. Soon Jessica disappeared. Laura clapped her hands as she settled on the couch. Immediately the whole house brightened with lights.

"You guys can come out. Let's have a friendly talk before getting into our business." Laura announced and sat on the couch elegantly. Immediately a crew of hoods surrounded her. Laura smirked at the people who were gazing at her with a grin holding hockey sticks and guns.

"Lady… we are not here for you. You are safe. We just need him. Let us finish our job and go." A man holding a gun smirked at Laura.

"Are you the leader of this gang?" Laura pointed at the gang.

"Yes… lady…" the man replied with a chuckle.

"Laura… don't waste time. Let's finish it quickly." Jessica yelled. Laura glared at Jessica who was standing behind the gang.

"Can I know who sent you guys?" Laura inquired.

"No… we won't reveal our backers. It's not in our ethics." The man denied it immediately.

"That's okay. I won't force you. But I would like to know about that fortunate personality." Laura smirked. The man frowned seeing Laura who was not even scared of them. He felt something off in Laura's behaviour. But just brushed his thoughts.

"You guys can do whatever you want. I will be here. Waiting..." Laura leaned her head on the couch and closed her eyes. The gang was shocked seeing her action.

"Boys… Finish him first." The man ordered focusing his eyes on Laura. Soon the gang ran to find Grey. The man stood there scanning Laura who was gorgeous. He gawked at her figure.

"Laura… I will pull out his eyes." Jessica gritted her teeth noticing the man ogling Laura. Laura didn't even acknowledge Jessica. After a few minutes, the gang came back to their leader.

"Sir… he is not here." The gang informed him. Immediately the man gazed at Laura in suspicion.

"How come you guys didn't see him? I came to meet you guys after ensuring he was asleep." Laura murmured, still closing her eyes.

"Idiots…" Immediately the man glared at the gang and rushed upstairs. But disappointed he came back to the living area. Returning he noticed his men who were shivering gazing at Laura. But he saw Laura who was still sitting, closing her eyes.

"What the hell, idiots?" The man yelled at them. Yet they were standing gazing at Laura in fear.

"Where is San?" Enquired the man learning that one of his members was missing. The remaining gang pointed to the top of their head in fear. The man gazed up in confusion but soon he widened his eyes seeing San in the air.

"What the…" the man gulped. Immediately San fell to the floor. The gang backed their step in fear.

"Jess… enough… don't scare them," Laura warned Jessica. Immediately Jessica relieved herself to the gang. She came down from the air and stood in front of the gang with a smirk.

"Ghost…" murmured a man. Jessica frowned.

"We are not ghosts. We are different." Jessica shifted from human form to a werewolf.

"Ahh…" screamed the whole gang watching a huge beast in front of them. Jessica's roar made them shrink to a corner.

"Jess… don't harm them. I need to know something from them." Laura walked to Jessica. Immediately the gang gazed at Laura with hope.

"Just tell me who sent you guys here. I will leave you guys." Laura walked to them. But suddenly a man shot at Laura. She stopped her step and grinned at the man. The man gulped, noticing she was standing fine in front of them.

Immediately she raised her finger in the air. The man who shot her shot himself and died on the spot. Everyone was shocked seeing the scene.

Immediately the leader of the gang fell on Laura's feet.

"Madam… we are sorry. We won't disturb you anymore." The man started to cry hard. Soon his gang followed him. Jessica laughed out loud watching the lined-up men who were crying hard.

"Okay… who sent you guys to harm Grey?" Laura inquired.

"Madam… it's Mr Wilfred. He sent us here to kill him." Immediately the man relieved the truth.

"Fine… you guys can go," Laura said. Immediately the gang ran to the main door. But…

"Wait…" Jessica's voice made them stop.

"Don't strain yourself… I will send you guys back." Jessica raised her index finger to them. A bluish ray surrounded them. Soon they disappeared.

"Now… It's fine. They won't even remember coming here." Jessica said, clapping her hands. Laura smirked and walked to the couch.

"But… Laura… who is this Wilfred?" Jessica sat on the couch.

"Grey's Dad" Laura mumbled.

"What!!! Dad hired goons to kill his son!!!" Jessica yelled in shock.
