The Party, Track 2
Fahmeen's POV:
"It's nice to be with just you." I admit, allowing my hands to run up and down his hard arms. Rolf sighs and his body edges towards me, relaxed. He closes his eyes and tilts his head back. I watch how content he looks, dreaming of a life where we could do this freely. Be together. My fingers desire to touch his face, I let them follow the structure of his cheekbones and slowly down to his jaw. My thumb lightly brushes his lips and he jumps. I laugh as he furiously rubs his lips.
"God that's ticklish."
I place my lips on his and he calms down. Slowly his hands rest on my hips.
"I like this dress." He mumbles against my lips and resumes our kiss. I pull him closer by his collar and he falls towards me, trapping me against the wall. I'm in this sexy cage of hard muscle and body heat as his hands go on either side beside my head. His kisses, delicate as can be, venture towards my neck. I tilt my head back and just relax. I'm looking up and there's a window right at the top, allowing this strong stream of sunlight in. I smile at the sight and stroke his back and head.
"Hey that's ticklish!" I gasp as his tongue becomes very familiar on the side of my neck. I feel his sexy chuckle vibrate against my skin. His teeth tug on my earlobe and I love feeling his hot breath in between his discovery of me. Every time we're together he finds something new to do.
...
Eventually he found his way back to my lips and we stand here just making out. I was satisfied doing this for a while and it seemed so was he. He places himself between my legs, forcing them apart. One of my legs, I wrap around his waist and he moans coming in deeper. We're fully clothed and staying on first base. One of my favourite things he does is, usually his eyes are still closed, but he leaves my lips to only tilt his head and come at me again. And usually it's a little harder. His tongue, a little deeper. His breathing a lot heavier.
One of his hands slide up my dress and he strokes my stomach. The sudden contact tickles me and I come away giggling and squirming.
Jay's POV:
I was on my way back from grabbing a new shirt for Adrian. He thought he could squeeze ketchup on Sam's burger real well but he just ended up spoiling his clothes. His puppy dog eyes found mine and I had no choice but to be where I am now.
I pass by the closet and can hear people in there. I pause, wandering if I should see who but the girl is giggling and I hear a guy too. My thoughts run back to Georgia coming inside with Aston and I've yet to see them.
I sigh and roll my eyes, making my way downstairs.
Fahmeen's POV:
Rolf's the first to check if the coast is clear. He peeps out and I guess it is.
"Okay. Come down in a couple of minutes."
He whispers, looking back at me. I nod and he smiles, kissing my forehead. He leaves and shuts the door.
Now I feel really lonely. I look up at the sunlight and it's gone.
My eyes are closed, I can hear the music muffled by the door and people's conversations and laughter are not as loud.
I hear something else too. The sound of paper scraping against the floor and I look down towards the bottom of the door. There is a... note. Footsteps quickly retreat and my heartbeat quickens. I pick it up, hoping it's not what I think it is.
*Hide and seek... can I play?*
Fahmeen's POV:
My hands tightened around the paper. They were here. Whoever they were, were here at my brother's party. I didn't dwell on the idea it may be someone we know. Or the idea it could be someone close to us.
"No." I whisper, suddenly feeling afraid. I didn't want to tell Rolf, hopefully it'll be harmless. I mean, hide and seek? So they know I'm in the closet, right now.
"Okay stop freaking yourself out."
I shake my head to clear the fear from creeping in. Turning the doorknob, I swiftly open it. I don't know what I was expecting but I was relieved to find no one on the other side.
I sigh with relief and look at the note again.
Can I play?
So they definitely know about me and Rolf. I start to walk down the hallway, checking rooms as I do. Still empty, lifeless. Or so I thought. I hear a creak of a floorboard very close behind me. I turn around but... no one. The closest room to me was my mother's so I check inside. She has a big wardrobe, it runs the entire length of one of her walls. Plenty of space to hide I think as I pull it open.
Lifeless
My phone vibrates and startles me. I groan out of frustration and check it. His name calms me down.
(R) It's been a few minutes babe. Come down.
I text back with one last look around the room.
(F) Coming!
...
I'm paranoid again as I climb down the stairs. I can't help my eyes scan the room. Some happy and chilled out. A few looked a little out of it, don't know how as we don't have any alcohol. But then I wouldn't pass it by some people to break that rule. I make my way to the garden, passing by my mother who's entertaining her own friends in the living room.
"Oh there you are! Grab some food, Adrian's cooked us a feast." Mum shouts at me, and I just smile politely at her friends as they stare at me expectantly. I spot her closest friend, Penelope or Pen, and I go into her arms outstretched for a hug. It's lovely and warm in her familiar embrace.
"Good to see you Fahmeen!" She says in my ear.
"You too."
I mean it, it's been too long and she's the closest family that's not actually family we've ever had. The things this lady has witnessed from us through the years. And she's stuck around too. These people are rare.
"Have you eaten yet?" I ask her and she nods.
"Your mum wouldn't let me without." She winks and she lets me go.
I find the wonderful, very grilled spread outside. It's calling me even though Adrian's burnt a couple of things.
"Nice, Adrian I'm impressed."
He narrows his eyes at me thinking I'm mocking him.
"No really. For all these people? You're brilliant." I playfully pat his shoulder and he blushes. I can't help but laugh at him and he clips his kitchen tongs at me.
"Okay, get out of my kitchen."
"It's a patio." I make a face at him but go to the lawn anyways.
I can see Shania and she's staring back at me as if I insulted her entire bloodline. It's a bit intense, even for her but I'll soon realise why. Her boyfriend is making his way towards me. I can feel Rolf's stare as he mingles with people across the garden. He's drinking from his cup as his eyes meet mine over the rim. It's hot because we have this secret of ours and we're surrounded by people who don't know. I think he's thinking the same thing as he looks like he wants to go to the closest again. I smirk and look away, focusing on Emilio approaching me.
"It's a great party." He's trying to make conversation.
"Turned out well, yeah."
Emilio comes closer and says into my ear,
"Shall we go somewhere less noisy? We can hardly hear each other."
I wasn't sure how to respond but he takes my hand and pulls me away. My slow reaction means he's successful in taking us somewhere less busy. I know Rolf's not pleased. His eyes were furious as soon as Emilio touched me.
We ended up in the study as it was the only empty space downstairs. He closes the door behind us and just stands there awkwardly for a few seconds.
"What did you want to talk about?" I ask as I sit on the desk chair, keeping distance between us. Emilio takes a few steps closer.
"I need some advice. How do you break up with someone who might not take it so well?"
I still for a few seconds.
"I wouldn't know Emilio."
His face shows a little shock and then, relief?
"Really? How come? Have you never been in a relationship?" He asks in a softer tone and I look down. Lying seems to come naturally to me these days.
"No." I mutter, avoiding his eyes. It was easier that way.
He comes closer till I can see his shoes. Emilio bends at his knees and I feel his finger lift my chin up.
"Well that's a shame for everyone else." He whispers and his eyes are on mine. This darn sunlight making his brown eyes look so... brown? Anyways I forgot what I was thinking.
Oh no, he's getting closer. Before he reaches my lips, my hand brushes his away from my face. He leans back and questions me and I guess my expression gave him an answer.
"Okay." He sounds disappointed and he gets up.
Emilio turns around but says,
"I guess I had my chance."
