Uncomfortable Agreement.

When we headed home that day, I felt a slight tingle in my chest, I didn’t know if anything was wrong but then I got the clarification some minutes later, after I got dropped off at where I packed my car.

“zzzzzzzz" My phone rang as it vibrated out.

“Hello, hello.” Evander said.
“Yo where are you?!” He said shouting.
“Bro you know where I am.” I said to him, because I know he gets it, he is the one I have told everything
“Bro I’m not playing.” He said as that response got me worried.
“I’m still kind of far away from the house.” I said to him, mentioning the place I was in.
“Bro something happened to mommy, I’m heading to the hospital I’ll send you the address now head there now!!” he said with his voice broke in-between.

He sounded worried, what's happening to my Mama, something is off, when I was coming back from the meeting with dad, I felt some thing I know I felt something and I was right.
later he texted me the location of the hospital, and that is when I went there myself, I had my car so getting there took me 20 minutes.

When I got there I rushed in looking for him as anxiety flooded my face.
“Sebastian!!” He shouted.
“over here" he shouted again, trying to direct me to his location.
“Yo, What happened? How did this happen to Mama.” I said to him.

“bro I don’t understand, we were good we were talking, she was sitting outside at the porch and I was sitting outside there with her, and the next thing I knew she was holding her head, I asked her is she OK, she said yes but then when she stood up to go get something I had something crashing down inside and I went inside and Mama was on the floor, I carried her noticed she was burning up seriously, you and I hanged out yesterday and we saw her she was in tip top shape but now all of a sudden this evening she doesn't feel good at all, it's crazy, immediately I called you and told you everything and now you’re here.” He said to me, that’s what I figured his face and he was restless, moving from side to side.

“She was coughing one time, I knew she was coughing, I heard her that the before I left, but this was somewhat last year, I asked him Mama are you OK but she told me she’s good she’s fine, what is it, why, why? .” I asked, slowly loosing myself in front of him.

A few moments later the doctor came out and we immediately cornered him.
“Doctor what’s the issue, what’s the issue with our mom?” I asked as he tried to calm me down and then he said.
“She has arrhythmia, this is a kind of rare disease, but she needs to be under care and she needs to be watched, with all that said she will be okay.” He said assuring us with a smile.
“Does she not need treatment?” I asked him.

“Well she does and it is kind of expensive, it will cost you $75,000 for a year or $100,000 depending on the hospital but for this hospital we do it around mid it is $6000 for a Qaly.” He said as we both nodded.
“But for now you can take her home, until you have enough to bring her back then we’ll put her on medications, She should be OK, but I want you to take note, she has the probability of getting better or worse, so she must be watched and I’ll recommend her treatment starting earlier than later.” He said , telling us to go and see her.
When I entered inside, the woman I thought was going to be bummed out, Was busy watching the telenovela, she was reacting to everything and me and Evander stood there looking at her like, seriously this woman.

“Mama” I called out to her as she turned back to reveal the fruit she was munching on.
“Mis Hijos” she said with a smile and a little dance on the bed.
This woman does not look sick, this woman does not even look like she has anything, that was the painful part, she looked healthy but she was slowly dying, according to the doctor this thing could literally get her into shock she could suffer stroke, I couldn’t bear it, how will I watch my Mama who could walk jump and play, she was so agile for her age, how can I watch that kind of woman be disabled or partially disabled, that will just be too painful.

“Look look, Fernando cheated on that girl we saw yesterday, I told you that he was not to be trusted, I was right.” She said pointing at the tv.
We entered inside our room worried but we stayed in that room happy, I was literally smiling and so was Evander until she said.

“So what did the doctor say about me huh?” she asked me as she squinted her eyes and wore a silly face.
“He said you have a rare type of disease.” I was explaining to her, I told her everything, and major worry was where are we going to get that kind of money, she may have not said it but I saw it on her face, I wasn’t worried, I had my dad, if he could help me with one he could be able to help me with the other but she was afraid because she said my father is a user, if anything is being asked of him and he gives it to you he would demand something in return, so she reassured us telling us she will be fine it is all just the scans and stuff, that she’s OK, But I knew she was doing that to make sure we don’t worry, but we still are.

After the incident with mum, Evander decided to live with us, so I am Evander lived in the same room and it's mama's food, we tried to stop her from cooking but this woman is stubborn I have cooking is also good so we let her do her thing.
“So what’s the plan?” Evander asked me.
“I have one last meeting with my dad, in that meeting I will try and convince him to give me that kind of money, I’ll tell him what it’s for but I won’t start by telling him that, I will only tell him that when he asks for real, when he has caught in me my fake reasoning, then I will spill the beans.” I said to him.
For the meantime me and Evander went into underground fighting, we fought and fought but could only roundup $6000 in three months. After two weeks my dad sent me a message, this was my chance, I had to play my games right or I will lose everything.

DAY 12

This was a serious question, this question me determine if I get anything from him or not, but I couldn’t lie to him, I couldn’t say I would come live with him when I knew that I have my Mama to take care of now, so I made another offer.
“I think I have thought of this enough and my new term is..i…” I said to him as he wore a frown.

“There is no new term, I obeyed my term and now it is my turn to make a term but I refuse to because I needed an honest answer is it a yes or a no don’t say no but I will be or yes but I will be. What is your real answer?” He asked as his authoritative voice presented itself non-dormant.
I knew woman’s I was going to be but I had to convince him I had to make him believe.
“My answer is no, and this is not because I have not learned a lot from you, this is not because I am not inspired to become like you, I can’t be like you I can only be better, but something came up recently Mama is sick and I can’t leave her to come stay with you, and you know how stubborn that woman is she's not going to decide to come stay with you, she needs money for treatment and I’ve only got $10,000 out of $86,000.” I said to him as he opened his eyes in shock.

“So why are you trying to say if your mom was OK you would have come stay with me?” He said.
I am now in a choke hold, I wasn’t going anywhere.

“Yes.” I Replied, as my heart skipped a beat.
I am sorry mama, I said inside.

“Alright fine, I’ll give you $100,000 but I’ll send a message to you, when I would give it to you which means you'll be getting this money the day you received the message, you don't need to come to me but I will come to you.” He said.

I was shocked what else I was happy, if this happens I could pay for my mum’s treatment and everything will be OK, she would live longer, this was a great news. so I headed home and I told Evander about it, Though he told me we need another plan after the money has dropped, he made notice to me that if my mom should find out that I am going to stay with my father, that would make her condition worse and I’ll be the complete cause, if anything should happen, so the best thing is for us to take the money and run that’s the only way and I’m very sure he will not kill you because you are his son that’s your only edge.

“You can go, you can live with him while Mama is getting treated, she will be in the hospital after all so that is going to help you.” He said to me but he made it known I was going to be visiting from time to time that was the only way to do this. I have to deceive two people but he will be there to catch me when I fall.
